This was not the location at which I made the reservation. My truck was reserved at The Zone at 2510 Mills Branch Dr, Kingwood, TX. This location was unattended at the time I was scheduled to pick up the truck and there was no 26' truck for me to pick up. U-Haul directed me to go to the other location, which was nearly a 20 mile drive out of my way. U-Haul needs to discontinue the unattended pick-up locations.KYLE W.

Please get diesel trucks. The unit I rented got 8 miles per gallon. This is not acceptable. A 20' box van with a modern diesel engine will get 12mpg or better and would have drastically reduced the cost of my move/GILBERT M.
Provide a guide of what is considered normal wear and tear and what is considered damage for customers for their pick-up inspection. Include a â€œthings to look forâ€ to help. Allow a mid-rental update to damage discovered. Picture of damage along with mileage and time stamp for u-haul evaluation.Watson D.

If there is a 24 hour no fee service and I was scheduled to return the vehicle by the end of the work day. Why was I charged twice for a vehicle that was still available for use before the next day of work. Dennis gave my storage unit to someone else after I had paid for it with a credit card that was used for advanced payments. I had a card that said 2306 and on 12/2 put in the door and it said Keysha. When I told hm the 10×7 was my unit, he gave me a smaller unit 2603. I questioned him and he became angry and lied saying he hadn't the larger unit since Oct. I rented mine on 11/17. I returned the smaller unit immediately. Never will I set foot in that facility or recommend it to anyone. I prefer the 2920 UHaul facility.Charlyn K. | Overall Experience

I booked my truck at the 600 Kenrick Dr Ste C16, Houston, TX location only to show up there and see a sign on the door saying they were closed. I called Uhaul and they found another truck that I had to drive much further to pick up. When I asked if I would get any accommodations on mileage since I would have to drive it farther, spend more on gas, and had already lost an hour of my move day, the person on the phone indicated they don't that. Way to own the fact that Uhaul messed up and I am now out more time and money. Overall a very disappointing experience, I'll look elsewhere to rent next time where they understand what customer service, or at least what correcting your mistakes is about.TRAVIS F.

I'm not happy I went from renting for 19.99 and end up paying 86.00 plus putting 10.00 worth of gas in the truck. And to be told I owe 6.65 for gas. I'd recommend U-Haul to friends and family. The only con is the late fee. U-Haul gives you like 2-3 days to pay on time before tacking on a $15 fee.
