The person I had help me, was very soft spoken, making it difficult to hear him. There were other people being helped and I could hear every word of their conversation. I had to ask him to repeat everything. In person check in was still easier than on line. Location is one way in and one way out. Vehicles should be parked facing a different direction, so you don't have to back out and then go around to be able to get to the exit.

Trying to reach UHAUL in general on the phone was very difficult. I spent a lot of time on hold when trying to get someone on the phone when I had an issue needing resolution. When I made my rental the option I chose gave me 4 days to return the truck. When I picked up the truck the receipt said I needed to return it the next day. I could not do that. Took me three calls, two times I hung up after waiting 20+ minutes on hold, to get this rectified. I understand that there may be issues with staffing but i thought you should now. Once someone did answer they were competent and polite. The on-line service for ordering and pickup and drop off work well. Gracias

Van was clean, ran well, drove well during surprise microburst on our way to load up, and held more than estimated. Also excellent gas mileage. Personnel were courteous and helpful. Would have liked reimbursement for extra gas put into vehicle but that was google maps error in mileage estimate, so be sure of mileage before you fill up for the day. 10 out of 10.

The facility was fine, the employees very nice. I was very disappointed that I was sent there, though. I only needed a trailer and was sent to tim buck too in order to get one. I believe there was one in Brattleboro. Why did I have to go that far? VERY unimpressed with the distance to get the trailer and return it.

The online service gave us a truck that was blocked in, the employee was very helpful getting it out for us quickly, but then we had to go back in to get the furniture pads which wasn't specified. Nothing major just little things that stalled the process

U-Haul switched my pick up location the day before, adding an hour round-trip to my moving day. Customer service rep at location was working alone with no support, resulting in a long wait for customers.

This location stole money from me as I got charged over 16$ for four gallons of gas after driving eleven miles. This was clearly bullshit but who has the energy to fight over petty cash. If they're not making enough they can have it.

I ordered moving pad when I reserved the truck and there was none in the truck when I got home. When I brought the truck back I told the person at the returned I was missing the moving pads that I was charged for and he said he was sorry and his boss would credit me, but I was still charged for!

We went into location. We were standing at counter to reserve truck. The worker just walked in front of us and didn't acknowledge we were standing there and he proceeded to walk out store. There was two workers both with poor attitudes. As the worker tried to put in information he had my address wrong and couldn't fix it. I have never had a problem with u haul. I would really consider placing this location under review.

It was busy the day we picked up the truck. Mobile app didn't work so I had to go to the desk. Guy was pleasant but incorrectly stated tank was full but it was only half full. Had to ask another person working what to do, which truck was ours, ect. After being given the key there should have been clearer instructions.

The physical rental location and vehicle condition were fine. The on-line approval process to receive the rental truck was horrible! It took almost 30 minutes to complete the approval process - unacceptable for what was supposed to be a fully automated process.

i think they could use some more staff. when i got the truck they were good but when i came to return it a few hours later the guys seemed a little overwhelmed with everything. you could tell they were working hard, and very kind as well as professional but another staff member or two wouldve made everything better. i had to wait a while to check in the truck, there was a few other customers waiting around as well.

The truck was clean but the AC did not work correctly. No air would come out of the front vents, it only came out of the front defrost vent. This made it cool but the window kept fogging up and I had to use my wipers every 2 to 3 minutes to see out the front window.

No, neither pickup or drop was a good experience!!! Reserved online a month in advance as directed. Was told it wouldn't be a problem with equipment being there or timing. Both pickup time and truck size was changed. Then while waiting the truck left people got in front of us in line and the only option was even a smaller truck with no equipment! The 2 guys couldn't do anything because you can't make equipment appear. The blame falls on the company for promising products and leaving the failures on the people in the locations. The they give you phone numbers and god knows where you are calling to get no service at all. They just say it's in the contract blah blah … That was only pick! Now drop off at destination - the guys there were polite but beaten down also but at least they had trucks (a little late since I was returning too) I turned in the key and told them we got the truck 1/2 full of fuel and we returned it full. The response was ok I asked about adjustments for fuel and they said “We don't do that.” I just walked out and was happy I would never use Uhaul ever again!!!

The truck had damage and did not run well. A back up light was out when I arrived at location to move furniture and I informed them when truck was returned. They never did inspection of vehicle prior to taking the vehicle. When I informed them about damage prior to taking the vehicle they were very unprofessional and said don't worry about it.

It took nearly an hour to leave the rental facility. I attempted to pick up the vehicle via the mobile check in, but the vehicle was not parked where it was stated on the application. After finally finding the truck, I checked the cargo area and the dolly and furniture pads that I rented were not in the truck. I had to get in line to speak to an employee which took an additional 20 minutes. The employee apologized saying he ran out of time the night before to properly load the truck.

So started off with a 38 min hold then a 19 min hold on phone that morning to verify my online confirmation. Then person who took care of me had issues. Walked in and was sitting down on phone. I think was company business cause was the same phone he took pictures of my ID with ok no problem. We went out to hook up the trailer and his hand signals were horrible. Like he never helping anyone back up to a trailer with a pickup. He then started to hook up trailer. Great . I asked questions about the 3rd chain . Said was for braking that's it. Ask to explain and really couldn't. Then as I am walking around checking out the trailer. I asked how the wheel straps worked. He wasn't sure he said and for me to read the " booklet " he printed. Then asked about rear straps. Said there is none and pointed to a chain in the front and middle. Said I need to use those. Asked again how and what for. Said read the booklet. Then asked about after hours return. Said oh put it back in this spot or anywhere you can find room. Said you don't have a return area. Said no not really.

Both employees I dealt with were aweful. The first time I went to check on my storage unit which I reserved online with a move in date of 6/30 I was told they didnt have any..and not in a long time! WHY HAVE ONLINE RESERVATIONS?! The employees attitude was that its too bad and theres nothing he can do. When I went to pick up my truck and was having difficulty checking in online (a different day) another employee said he didnt know how to do it, pointed to the shed outside and said to look on the sign. I did this and the bar code was curled up so it didnt work. Again, the employees attitude was that he couldnt be bothered. Lastly, I was supposed to drop off in Springfield but the employee who finally cancelled the online appointment( after telling me he couldnt and I would have to do it myself) incorrectly put Westfield as the drop off. When I complained to the Boston Rd Springfield location about the horrible service I got in Westfield he told me that he hears lots of complaints about the service in Westfield. Maybe it would help if the employees in Westfield werent high while trying to do their job. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL! Next time I move or need a truck, I will go elsewhere. Also, I am still waiting for a call about why I paid $90 up front and and extra $138 when I returned the truck. Something was NOT calculated correctly.

The employees are rude and act like there pissed because a customer came in and needed assistance in renting a vehicle. Absolutely seem miserable and like they hate there job. Continually complained about store being hot and how they couldn't wait to go home... then the pickup i rented was so dirt I couldn't see out the windshield. It was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Returned truck and wasn't able to find out how much it would cost and get receipt but told he didn't have time and that I would receive an email and it would be posted to my card on file.. I wanted to know how much . Place is horrible.. Will not return or recommend to anyone

Honor the deal made with customers. We reserved a 4x7' trailer from Westfield, MA. Customer service called stating they had none in stock but would give us a 5x8' for the same price, the store did not. We realized the mistake and addressed it when we returned the trailer but received NO satisfaction. The employee called the manager who rudely told us to call customer service, This is a million-dollar company getting richer scamming people in $8 increments! NOT COOL U-HAUL!

Our items were covered in mold and there was mold in the storage unit on the floor. I was not impressed at the lack of accommodation due to the high price I paid for this unit.

you advertise truck rentals for 19.95. But with all the add ons of milage and /or ins. I ended up paying over 65.00. Just to being a mattress to my camper. I hate u-haul and would never have used them if I did not have any other option.

Only issue was mice/rats that made it into my temperature-controlled unit. There was traps inside the unit but they still are through clothing and left droppings. Just thought I'd mention.

I reserved online a 10x20 drive up unit for $204/month, upon arrival I was informed there were no 10x20 units available. The best solution I was told was to rent side by side 10x10 units inside. I reluctantly agreed as I was there with a truck full of stuff. When processing my reservation it turned out that to rent the 2 units would cost me $300/month which is UNACCEPTABLE. If I was quoted that much at the time of reservation I would never had rented the unit as that is way too much money for me to pay monthly. This move with UHaul has been nothing but problems from the truck rental, the moving helpers, and then the storage unit. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. UHaul took a very stressful situation and made it so much worse.
