CHRISTOPHER PI originally reserved a trailer in Westspringfield ma. But when I went to get it it wasn't there because the person that rented it previously didn't return it. So the person behind the counter managed to locate one in Westfield. I needed it to move stuff in Ludlow so that ment I had to drive an hour round trip out of my way. The employees at both stores were apologetic an tried to resolve the situation the best they could.

Joseph STruck smelled like smoke on pick up, also gas was "full" but took 4 gallons after driving a total of 19 miles.
TIMOTHY MThe wifi does not work. After hours drop off is very difficult. I spent 23 minutes trying to return a truck because the photo verification kept getting stuck. Pickup was easy and truck was in good shape.
Rebecca JAfter hours check in is a $20 fee if I don't follow your procedure? You would do well to learn from rental car agencies. Drop the key and get your invoice emailed to you. I should have to provide pictures when you most assuredly do a post rental inspection anyway.
BERNARD GI rented vehicles from this location before and the difference is night and day better under the new ownership. Friendly, took great care of me, would 100% recommend folks go there!
KYLE NLighting outside of the units was awful. We were moving from ME to CT and this was the closest location with a large unit. When we got there the rope attached to the door handle was frozen into the ice in front of the unit. When we asked for help the guy handed me an ice chipper. When we came back 3 weeks later to remove our items the ice in front of the unit was worse. Not only was this a HUGE safety issue, but the warmer days caused it to melt and it was so high up the water went right into our unit. Boxes destroyed, furniture sitting in water and mattresses as well. All they had to do was shovel in front of the units and none of that would have happened. Laziness. I feel bad for the other unit owners who have no idea what they are walking into.

DIANE OI waited 25 minutes while some nasty employee named Agekwe or something was outside trying to help an elderly man get a trailer out of the ice. Westfield UHaul is always deeply unpleasant.

WILLIAM EThe only negative I had, it had snowed and the vehicle was not cleared off. There was no brush or broom to clear the snow. I am a short female and was grateful it was not a lot of snow. I was able to clear enough to feel comfortable driving safely.

JAMES HI had to go back 6 hours after I dropped off the trailer and have the attendant check in the trailer so I didn't get charged an extra day. The location wasn't answering the phone I live 45 minutes from the location
TAMMY MThis location charged me an overnight feee, late fee, and a fee for the oil level not being back where it was when i have video surveillance proof of the truck being returned ON time, NOT being returned the day after at the correct location, and have a recipe t for filling up the oil level. I even validated my drop with the drop off location, Submitted my drop off in the U-Haul website, and informed the representative of all this information YET i'm still charged these extra fees. I will be fighting this ridiculous charge, and would not recommend going through the trouble that my family and I had. I will not be doing business with U-Haul again.

SHERYL MRoadside service a problem. Was charged about $350.00 for keys to van which I found just a few weeks later and returned keys soon as UHAUL opened their door next day. I knew the keys were secure and believed the relative helping me fill boxes packed the keys. The Keys were found in one of the UHAUL cartons that were packed. I had to rent the truck extra days while searching for keys, which did not get to use it those days for moving my things. I had to move most of my things by using my car. It cost me a lot of money doing business with UHAUL, including supplies I bought there and storage rental..and rental of truck. Only because of Road Service treatment I will not return beck to UHAUL. I must add the workers at the Westfield MA store were very pleasant and were helpful. I appreciated their hard work.

Nobody picked up at the office for an hour span when I tried to call again and again. Pretty poor experience and poor customer service
BRIAN LPick up was amazing. So were the staff to help find a trailer that met the timeline I needed. Drop off was another story. Dude was rude. I'll probably avoid the Westfield, MA location due to him. Shouldn't talk down to the customer when they are following directions that were given upon pick up.

TADEUSZ FOur tech was manning the entire store by himself doing everything from hitch installation to selling boxes. His service was excellent, and you're lucky to have someone who is dedicated and reliable. Pay this man more! You can afford it.

Donald PMy one complaint was that i rented a cargo van. When I called to set it up the guy explained to me all the cost . But when I got there the guy at this location told me i either had to have my insurance policy # or pay 25.00 per day for insurance. I don't know of anyone who carries their insurance policy number with them. So i was basically forced to pay 25.00 more that i expected to rent the van.

When I went to my storage unit after he packed all my belongings, they were stacked carefully and neatly. Also, he took excellent care of my car; even put in air fresheners. Also, he followed me home in his truck as I drove my car because it was evening. When he left to return to Florida I missed him as if he were my son . Thank you for choosing Jacob to help me move. Smith F | Overall ExperienceMy email said a lock would be in the unit because I did online move in. That night I packed my car with all the stuff and drove there. It was not. I was not able to leave my stuff. Called the next day and was told that you don't leave locks in the unit. We'll that's what the email said. If that's not what you do, you need to tell corporate you don't because that's what it says when you do an online move in. Also when we went to pick up the lock it was 6:50. The guy said he was helping the person he was helping and then was closing and wouldn't help my husband to get the lock. We used our own lock.

The facility that I dropped my rental off at and got the storage at actually agreed with my negative remarks and said they would like to see some change and they were very friendly and understanding. Overall I enjoyed the service at the facility but otherwise terrible rental, I'm glad after multiple times of check and I finally was able to find this facility. Wish I could rate on the full U-Haul service and not just on one facility otherwise the score would've been lower.

Our items were covered in mold and there was mold in the storage unit on the floor. I was not impressed at the lack of accommodation due to the high price I paid for this unit.

The best solution I was told was to rent side by side 10x10 units inside. I reluctantly agreed as I was there with a truck full of stuff. When processing my reservation it turned out that to rent the 2 units would cost me $300/month which is UNACCEPTABLE. If I was quoted that much at the time of reservation I would never had rented the unit as that is way too much money for me to pay monthly. This move with UHaul has been nothing but problems from the truck rental, the moving helpers, and then the storage unit. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. UHaul took a very stressful situation and made it so much worse.
