I was pleasantly surprised when the customer service operator advised me that with the renting of a U-Haul trailer I was eligible for one month's free storage unit at a U-Haul facility. So I definitely took advantage of that offer I needed a warehouse unit anyway so why not keep it in the U-Haul family I was also happy to find out that the unit I was getting was a larger unit and the monthly rate was a lot less than what I was paying for in Florida for a smaller unit, call it all I am very happy with the way I've been treated on the phone and in person at the U-Haul facilities in Florida and in Warner robins Georgia thank youMicheal L. | First Impressions

We rented a trailer and needed storage for a short time at the drop off location. Inconveniently we arrived to the storage location to empty out our belongings only to discover that we couldn't set up the rental at this location. No one in the office. So we had to drive several miles away (to where the trailer drop off location was) to get said storage unit set up. Then Had to drive back to the original location to drop belongings and back yet again to the second location to drop the empty trailer. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating to deal with when we had two kids ages 2 and 4 months that were stuck for the ride.Leslie Z. | First Impressions

The main reason we moved out is because of the several spiders that were building webs all over our belongings. I know it's an outdoor unit so I get it, I just didn't want to risk more insects coming into our unit as the cooler months approach. While we are still in the process of moving, we were not able to be there at the time of receiving our stuff from the movers into the Uhaul storage in Warner Robins, GA. We went to the location at night the first time and tried to use the code I was given it didn't work but as soon asi went back the next day someone came out right away to help us and then I was given a gate clicker so don't have to worry about the code any more. There were spider webs all around the bottom sides. It should have gotten swept out. Not to mention these large rat bate insides. Unfortunately the only real issue is I had to drive 3/4 hours to Warner Robins to get this unitangela s. | First Impressions

This was not my initial pickup location. The original pickup location was Macon Storage West on 4332 Log Cabin Dr Macon, GA 31204. After driving 5 1/2 hours to pickup the truck, the truck was not on site nor could I reach this individual regarding where the truck was. I then had to contact Uhaul main number and had to drive 30 minutes south for an available truck. This was a very bad experience and will second guess on using Uhaul in the future.MITCHELL B.
The worker Cal was extremely rude an disrespectful got a truck from there at 3:50pm it broke down at 4:05pm called an informed him he hung up an said it's in my possession it's ur problem an hung up then cut the phones off when I proceeded to call for HELP it was 97â€¢ a heat wave I was outside with my Autistic daughter an they told me to just wait they will come at 8-9:30pm to fix the truck if not they will find something overall this company does not stand by there promise they allow their customers reps to be rude an blame well customers make u have bad days no it's the nasty attitude an demeanor that makes me act accordingly but after this incident an he knew it was faulty before selling me the equipment HORRID EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN if I don't have to I rather mover my stuff on a wheelchair Fridge Beds an ALLCHANDRAH J.

Of the multiple times I had to call 800gouhaul I was never on hold less than 20 minutes - hire more staff! I was rerouted via customer service to a different facility for equipment pick up but no one bothered to tell me that the new location closed 2 hours BEFORE my scheduled pick up time so when I arrived they were closed. 800gouhaul set me up for another facility 30 miles away to pick up my equipment the next day so instead of 24 hours to load my truck and trailer I was left with 10 hours. The furniture pads were wet and unusable. Customer services answer for all this inconvenience was to add an extra days rental and 50 extra miles. The extra day was useless and the extra mileage was needed because they sent me 30 miles south to get the equipment for a northbound move. This was the 2nd time I've used a Uhaul truck and will likely be the last. The physical, mental and emotional stress that I was put through was because of lack of communication from the change in pick up location and lack of 24 hour advanced. The apathetic attitude from customer service was irritating and the fact that this experience cost me almost $1000 is nauseating. For my next move I'll call Budget or Penski trucks. For anyone discussing their move with me I will outline all the ways Uhaul made this move harder on me and attempt to persuade them to go with a company who at least pretends to care. Moving isn't easy or fun but Uhaul made it worse.TERESA G.

truck was covered in bugs and dirt, but when you need a truck you take what is available. Truck was so low on gas I had to fuel it before we could use. Both of the individuals we dealt with were prompt and courteous and handled check-in and return quickly.William B.

I reservation for the truck a week before and when it was time to get it they changed the location to pickup and then it went back to the first location and didn't have my truck ready then told me go to another place and they didn't have a truck there ... they didn't know where to drop the truck off when I asked ... I didn't find out till way later... I was supposed to pick up at 8 ... I had to drive from macon to Warner Robins to get a truck... didn't get back to start moving til 11am ... so I'm not really happy with the overall experience and no one apologized or Compensate me for all the time wasted and gas I spent to pick up the truck. And if you check the truck return I had over a half of a tank of fuel returned and started with 1/4 tankRANDY N.

On 2/9/21 I checked out a covered 5X8 Trailer. During the checkout process the attendant requested my Driver's License which wasn't a problem. My concern is a picture of my license was taken on a cellphone. In this day and age of Identity Theft, I don't think that is very safe. I should have asked but didn't if it was a personal cell or company issued. In either case, it's a security risk. While I know nothing is 100% please provide me some degree of assurance that my data won't be compromised. How is my personal information protected?LARRY L.

W. Golden must've misunderstood me bc I rented for 2 days and he only put one. It cost a customer of mine that I moved (I was told it would be $30 for the extra day) $40 EXTRA...never had a problem with W.G. so I'm assuming a simple honest mistake. Love his speed and professionalism. The Watson Blvd store is...."a little rough around the edges." They are very fast and prompt it just seems everyone is always uptight bc of other customers.
