Network was down which caused some delays in getting the trailer. Should be a way to assign equipment to clients, even if the network is down, e.g. entering equipment tentals on the local computer with automatic uploads once the network is back up.Gottfried V.

The uhaul was open but nobody was found to help unhook the trailer, waited in the drop off area but no one came.Pawel S.
We tried to access the unit between 5 to 6 PM and the office was shut because it was a Sunday. But the door would not accept the code and I called 1800 number which didn't help at all. They said the manager at the site needs to be talked to. I had to cancel my plans and then come back the next day sacrificing my sleep and spend 4 hours to pickup and transport the items in my unit and then go for a 10 hour night shift at work. When i raised the issue with the employee and the manager they said they will have to talk to IT to look at the door issue. Not even an apology.AJAY T. | Overall Experience

Truck was made available with little gas and left me feeling uncomfortable as to how much gas was still available. I rent trucks on a frequent basis and found your pricing to be out of line with what I pay for same services. My employee's use your service and I will recommend they use other suppliers which are more resonably priced. My business is not suitable for your model. Also still waiting for my invoice. Advised staff Returning trailer after hours 10pm. Trailer was picked up at 2pm. Called me 3 days later asking if I returned trailer. I've rented more than 10 times from this location. Precious staff were amazing these individuals I encountered totally incompetent.PAUL P.
The truck could have been pulled out and parked out front. Ice cold and snowy. No snow brush and empty windshield washer fluid, not a drop. Lucky my son was still there and I used his snow brush. I stopped to buy windshield washer fluid. The truck has an excessive loud exhaust, really loud driving down the road, way to loud. The equipment was not available at pickup time which was booked online about 2 weeks in advance. This has happened multiple times especially with trailers. This really seems to defeat the purpose of booking ahead on an online reservation system.TODDD H.

Make sure tire pressures are OK before offering the vehicles to customers. When I pointed out to that the tire pressure sensor monitor was illuminated on the dashboard, the attendant rectified this before I left the facility. The customer should not have to point this out...The vehicles are supposed to have been checked out after being received back from a prior customer. It would also be appreciated if phone numbers provided for U-Haul are for the local rental facility itself and not a call centre far away. I would rather speak with the person at the facility that I am renting from than someone far away who does not understand local road issues where I am renting. Other than these hiccups the rental worked OK.REINHARDERIC D.
I've rented trucks from uhaul many times over many years and this was the dirtiest truck I've ever been given. It was filthy inside and out. The dash looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It was actually furry with dust. It kind of calls into question what covid cleaning they are doing. I couldn't even check for damage because any scratches would've been hidden under dirt. I tried this location because it was closer but I doubt I'd use it again.GREGORYA I.

Very disappointed by the experience we had with Uhaul yesterday- will not be renting a vehicle from Uhaul again- long wait times on the phone - issues handled by the customer service team phone line - attendees were short and rude. Location pick up changed on us last minute- overall terrible experience. Not to mention the vehicles are old - and run down. Didn't feel safe in it. Will use Home Depot rentals next time for sure!Heather M.

The rental was fine but found I had been charged $7 for a dolly that was neither present or used. I rang 10 times to try to speak to query this but never got through-best was a 30 min wait offered. Sent email to branch manager but got odd reply from someone else blaming computer error etc. Wasted 40mins or more when I should have been able to speak to the branch directly to rectify their error.robert R.

It was a first time use of U-Haul truck for us in Canada. We went to west Oakville to rent a cargo van and we were coldly told that none were available. We told them that we really needed a truck urgently and we were open to ANY size vehicle if cargo van wasn't available, but to no avail. After spending 10 mins there, we came out empty handed. Just outside the store, we checked U-Haul website and it showed us truck available at same location. We placed an order online with pickup time after 2 mins and got the truck in exact 2 mins. Such a poor service from store guys. Truck itself was not in a very good condition, not very clean + cigarette charger was non-functional. I will definitely avoid this location in future.Manish G.

I want to first thank the staff for being so accommodating when I had messed up the dates for pick-up. They were terrific in helping me and it worked out better than my initial vehicle choice. This is a small thing, but the seat belts smelled like body odour. It's not something you would notice while cleaning the vehicle, but when you have it wrapped across your body, it gets a bit overwhelming. Maybe a little Febreeze would go a long way. When I received the van it had low tire pressure on the van so I pumped up at gas station and by the time I dropped off the light cam back on again . Before I returned the van I topped of higher that the mark I recieved it at . I asked the cleaner and the lady at front desk to come review truck and neither got up out of there chair just said it was fine Well when I recieved the final Bill it had less gas marked off when I now recieved it . And a bill for six liters of gas . Wtf I called the office and said they will look into it . To no avail . Seems like a scam they pull and have now evidence of it. Do this a couple people a week that's a nice bonus . I didn't think I had to take a pic of gas meter and Km I will never use uhaul again and I will make sure I let everyone know my experience was terrible . NMNATHANDAVID M.
The service of the individual hooking up the trailer to my car was outstanding . He was very polite informative and considering it was raining was in a wonderful mood. He should be given a special thank you for a job well done. I didn't get his name but I can only describe him as a young African American . I received my truck with a quarter tank of gas after I indicated my journey would be over 50km. This is not appropriate and it forced me to put gas in the truck at the start and end of my journey... And I returned the truck at exactly a quarter tanking feeling bad for the next person that gets it. When some returns the truck with less gas than they started with I know first hand that you charge them pretty hefty fees. Where do those fees go if I am receiving a truck with a quarter tank of gas? You can't charge a customer an inconvenience fee and then not do anything about the situation... In that case you weren't inconvenienced... You are actually making money on it. I understand that it is impractical to top every truck that comes back a little bit light on gas, but you can't rent people trucks with a quarter tank. I would encourage you to modify your policy so that every customer starts with at least half a tank. This could mean more staff members have to take trucks out to fill them up... But it only seems fair given the fees you are collecting every time a customer forgets to refill.Sean B.

The people were polite. The girl who showed me my room realized it wasn't clean already so immediately mopped it. But the service experience as a whole was absolutely horrible. We reserved the space and truck. Called to confirm everything was good the day before. Was thanked for confirming. Then. Arrived to be good our space was rented out. Apparently the reservation means absolutely nothing!! It as very upsetting. I had to move my mother in that one day and had done all the work to prepare only to be told that reserved means nothing to anyone at uhaul. The girl apologized that this is the policy. Offered to call another location. But we picked that location for a reason. It was very stressful for my senior mom. We ended up in a much more expensive space just to spent through everything.
