The truck was old and had horrible suspension. The ramp was extremely hard to operate. Check engine light came on and the truck seemed to have transmission problems. I doubt I will return to U-haul for my rental needs.

When we signed up for storage ,it was never mentioned or shown to us that we couldn't drive up to unload. Expecting people to use a cart that carry 4 boxes and the space was at the far corner of the building. Nice facility but the representative gave no mention of this being a non drive up unit. We left and got a facility that we could drive up too unload. We rented a 20 ft and it was full. Not telling us what we were renting wasted our time and his. Otherwise he was helpful.

Your on-line system is not secure. I emailed with Bree, Joy, and Leah about your system mixing up my account with another customer's account (James Cavin or Calvin). The security problem caused my credit card and email address to be mixed up with this other customer, putting me in jeopardy of identity theft. I had to request that my credit card not be associated with any other account but mine, after I had to recreate my account from scratch. Then I was charged an extra fee because the location closed and there was not sufficient visible signage about after hours procedures. My rental experience was was poor because of all these issues. Too bad this survey only seems to rate the location, not the U-Haul company itself, which would get a poor rating. Jim

The equiptment was clean a ready to use the only thing i saw was that it wasnt washed very well (outside) but other then that it was great, the employees were friendly and were quick about helping customers but were very thorough with their explanations to me

The only Thing I did not like was having to go all the way to the curb where the vehicle was parked and locate it myself. There were scratches on the outside of the truck but no real damage. But since they did not perform a walkaround it is undocumented. I did take pictures. It would be nice if there was a place for pictures before pick like when you return after hours

Make sure ALL terms and conditions are explained to the customer. For instance; there is a hand cart in the truck.( I did not use the hand cart) if the customer does use the hand cart do they get charged extra.

I did not drop off to this location. I dropped off on 20th St., West in Lancaster California. Very nice facility, they have a very large storage facility. We were greeted in the driveway right very sweet girl and she unhook the trailer and took care of the paperwork on her cell phone. Another great location!

Customer service was good. Vehicle was clean the information given to me was thorough and it was easy. I would rent from this location again.

1. Answer the telephone at the store level. There are some questions that cannot be resolved by the call center and having calls automatically routed there with no way to call the actual store is offensive. 2. Equipment needs to be STANDARD across all of uhaul or the differences need to be explained when making a reservation. For example, the difference btw a 48” opening vs a full width gate on a 6x12 utility trailer is the difference of whether or not it will work when moving my SXS/UTV. These differences need to be explained so I can rent the appropriate equipment the first time. 3. What data safeguards does U-Haul employ when employees are using their personal devices to check me in and out? I feel extremely vulnerable to data breaches with an uncontrolled system like this. How can uhaul ensure my data is secure. This doesn’t feel legal. Please advise and have an executive level employee contact me at their earliest convenience. (818)917-3450

The man who checked us in was great. Friendly, efficient, and let us know that they were open until 7, so if we needed the uhaul past the 4pm return time we estimated, to just call them. Which we did. Upon return, the agent tried to charge my husband for an additional day. He acted annoyed that my husband didn’t want to pay an additional day. Because we were never told that would happen; we were just told to call. And when we called, the agent changed the return time no problem, and again did not tell us we would be charged an additional day. Thankfully he did waive the charge, but if that’s the case, make sure that you inform the customer of that. Additionally...why we would be changed an extra day when we just had the truck a few extra hours and back before closing time doesn’t make any sense.

You shouldn’t waste time with quotes because it always never what your actual quote is. It always higher. Your company always manage to get Monroe money than quoted.

The central reservation desk should know the hours of the pick up sites. The reservation desk gave me an 8:00 AM pick up time on Sunday morning and the store did not open until 9:00 AM

Having a uhaul employee bring the vehicle to the front rather than the customer having to search for the vehicle in the parking lot.

I had to go to 3 locations and on the second one I over heard an employee saying that he didn’t want to give us the 26’ truck they had, (which was mine) First over the phone a rep promised 60miles to make up and on store they said they couldn’t do it, after that they marked the wrong gas meter, (which that Was cleared when returning it) very bad customer service. Disappointed.

You were my 2nd location to pick up from. The first was at 3GW Autosales on Ave I., I got there at my scheduled time and they were not opened. I waited for 15 minutes no one came. Personnel was helpful to assist in obtaining the Non-Profit tax-exempt pricing (less tax). Equipment was OK but we noticed engine noise inside the cab when travelling. A close look at the engine cover in the cab revealed the passenger side clasp was unclasped. Upon fixing, the inside engine noise level was reduced but the housing/cover did not seem to fit as tight as designed.

When explaining the charges mention the number of miles not simply the mileage charge. Customers want to know that you applied an accurate number of miles traveled.

Setting everything up was easy & fast. When it came time for me to enter my unit at 8:30pm I was denied entry when I called the manager she wasn't at all helpful or apologetic for the inconvenience.

The staff was nice and helpful. The facility is still being transformed from a retail store, so it was kind of a mess, with lots of painting, & no signs on where anything was, or where to park.
