Christina was rude over the phone and inperson. She seems generally unpleasant. Crystal (The manager) was excellent and did all she could to help. Greatly appreciated her. The check in guy didn’t ask me to put a hair( literally) of more gas in the truck as most others will inform...before charging me 8.25 for a 1/8th of a tank of gas. The man at the counter at drop off (Marcus? Marquis...sorry I couldn’t read the whole tag) was fantastic and absolutely polite. The 20ft truck did not work well and would not go over 30 mph...with the petal on the floor because it wouldn’t shift gears. My husband (the driver) is a licensed truck driver and couldn’t get it over 30. Keep in mind this is not the truck we requested as we originally wanted a 26 foot truck but apparently all 5 were going to the shop on the exact same day. If it were not for Crystal (the manager) and the guy at the front desk being excellent and providing outstanding customer service, I would not recommend this place. They turned a negative experience into a positive one and I will rent from this location again.

Everyone seemed busy with something else. I was the only customer inside the store and waited for about 10 minutes. All of my items were not in the truck and i had to return to the location to retrieve the dolly.

I was extremely happy with my experience, and I will only use this facility with renting equipment in the Richmond area. Your dayshift manager was incredible. Never have I had such a positive customer service experience. As a manager I know how difficult it can be to make someone's experience amazing, however, Ms. Cynthia Fobbs made it look very easy. Thank you and I look forward to my next rental.

The lady was very nice and knowledgeable but kept stopping to help a new employee numerous times. The trailer we received the lights didn’t work so we had to change which was fine but took forever because she was still answering questions for the employee which had no customers. Should have completed our process so we could go instead of taking all the time with the new employee.

You may find it odd that I selected below average, but still said that I would recommend. This is because the selection is second to none in this area. However the blankets that I rented were very dirty and had leaves and debris falling off of them,which made a mess.

Truck was really worn out. Doesn't steer well and sounds rough. I was forced to put ~ 2 gallons of gas in the truck upon return, or pay 15.00. The problem is that I picked up the truck with about 1/8 less than my return. Manager and rep asked if I took pictures of the gas guage before and after. REALLY!?!? No told me that I should take pictures prior to leaving with the truck. All around poor experience with Uhaul. I've had several experiences with Uhaul, but this one was a very bad one. Total inconvenience and disrespect by not believing me... the customer. Not happy at all and very sorry that I selected Uhaul for this particular need. I rented a 15 ft. truck for one day on 8/31/19 for what ended up being just short of a 6 hour rental. When I returned the truck that same afternoon, on time, one of the employees met me and about 5 other drivers outside, took our keys, and then told us the receipt would be emailed to us. When the receipt arrived, they had charged me a late fee AND clocked my return time to be 10:11 THE NEXT DAY!! When I called them about the discrepancy, I was told "the computer is down right now, but it would be handled and the credit confirmation would be sent to me via email. That was two months ago, still no credit on my card for the over-charges.

This location is always great to work with and the employees are always available for any questions. This was the first time that the equipment was not up to par. The truck was just very beat up and needs some tlc or perhaps be retirwd. It drove very rough in and wasnt aligned well so pulled right. Fortunately I was just driving in town vs the last time I rented one this large I was going across the country. Again, the staff is always fantastic at this location though.

They did a great job accommodating us for our one way trip. We reserved a 15' but when we arrived to check in, the 15' hadn't been returned yet. When we walked in the door, they were busy calling around to see what locations had to fulfill our reservation. In the end, they gave us a 26' plus their reservation guarantee. Additionally, mid trip I called the location back as our return location couldn't accommodate a 26' they way they could a 15'. They put me on hold to call around in our return location to find someone that could accept that truck. While on hold, they kept me updated as they were searching. Once they found the location, they emailed and texted me the updated location. Everything went very smoothly. A move I was nervous for and had a few obstacles, they were able to provide all the assistance I needed.

I did the online check in and that supposedly speed up the check in process. Check in was quick. Once checked in I went to grab the trailer. I didn't wait for someone to hook up the trailer. I just hooked it up and by then he came over and check it and I was on my way.

When we first arrived we i one came and acknowledged us for 10 at the least and then when someone did come he told us someone would help us and a few. I then waited an extra 10 minutes at the least m. After it took the rep about 30 minutes to reserve the U-Haul for us even after i asked her why was it taking so long. And when i finally got the U-Haul the van back truck was open n cleaning supplies was on top of the U-Haul when i spoke with the guy who was working is this the truck i am supposed to be getting he replied does the numbers match well yea that it so i asked was he going to shut the trunk door and remove the things he stated he is getting to it but never removed the things off i had to do so. My experience was very unpleasant and unprofessional

I reserved 12 rental boxes online and received email confirmation. When I arrived to pick up the boxes, only four were available. The U-Haul employee didn't offer any apology or explanation, he just shrugged his shoulders. I ended up getting the four boxes, blankets and cardboard boxes because I didn't have time to make alternate arrangements. That failure cost me extra money, and made this move much more laborious and difficult than it should have been.

availability of equipment was great however the original vehicle i was assigned the keys could not be located. I was immediately given another vehicle however this vehicle had only a 1/4 of a tank of gas. I let the attendant know and was told to take a picture in the event i had to dispute this claim upon return which i did. However the attendants did not give me any problem regarding this issue when i return the vehicle and showed them the picture. Also when I disputed the mileage, the attendant was helpful in answering my questions and clearing up the matter.

I'm not sure, I was a little irritated that I was told, when I asked about only having my things in storage for only 5 days since I was moving out, that I would be refunded the pro rate amount for not using the whole month. I called customer service to ask how long the refund takes, and they said they don't do that. Company's need to stick to their word, this really makes me not want to use uhaul in the future, if you couldn't refund me you should of said that first.

Easy pickup. This location was fine, however, we were originally scheduled to pick up at another more convenient location that was actually closed on the date/time we were supposed to pick it up. Needless to say, it was very disappointing to discover that UHaul scheduled us to pick up at a closed location.

Representative at the service counter was a poor communicator, almost mumbling, not clear and assertive. The truck I rented had a sticky wet substance in the cupholders that had apparently spilled at the base of the middle seat as well, on the floor. It was obviously not cleaned well before I used it. Food crumbs were also on the middle seat. The truck itself performed very well.

When I received my bill, I had been charged a after-hours fee of $20. Even though I picked up my dolly at 9:45 and dropped it off the same day at 12:30. I had to call the location and they told me I should not have been charged the extra fee. However, it would take 3-5 day for the refund to be posted. When you pay for something, you take the money immediately. Why does it take 3-5 days to get my money back that was wrongly taken?

On a Saturday, the location had 1 employee in and the system when down. Using what was suppose to be an easier method with the new 24/7 uhaul, it still took 25 minutes to complete the registration that I was instructed on the website to complete when ready to pick up and another 15 minutes in line to grab keys. I think the process for the 24/7 uhaul should have better instructions prior to setting up to be better informed of process prior to arriving to location.

Second time used and second time problem. The first one I lost 3 hours because a dead battery and yesterday I lost about 4 hours because a different and flat tyre. The auto transport has 3 tyres right and good and 1 diferente and little and flat.
