I have an account where all of my information was already submitted yet I have to do it again in the app. Not only that, it then requires a call to someone I designate to verify it's me. Stupid. If I were stealing would I give the contact info for someone who I didn't know would corroborate my identity? I still had to go inside to complete the transaction anyway, at which point the app failed and I had to start over by providing my license, info etc. over again.
Robert D.I originally set up my contract so that I could do self check-in. When I got there, it didn't work. The wait at the counter was longer than anticipated, which is a challenge. Upon return, the "green tent" area was filled to overflowing, and it was unclear where else to leave the vehicle.

There was a leak in the van we rented which wasn't apparent until after we parked and heard fizzing noise as something was leaking onto hot components. I would only recommend this location if you have time to wait to be taken care of.

Fernando T.The manager of this location was extremely professional and provided outstanding customer service… However, this very small, aging U-Haul-gas station hybrid location, is sparse at best… I love the manager but the location needs to be put out to pasture.
Timothy B.We rented two 26' trucks and a car tow hauler for a move from Atlanta to San Antonio, TX. About 2 hours outside of Atlanta (Hwy 85). A WHEEL came off of the car tow hauler. Not a flat tire. The entire WHEEL snapped off the axel and bounced about 40' in the air. Very fortunate that the WHEEL did not hit another car, damage my car on the tow hauler, or even KILL someone traveling behind the UHaul. A very scary moment as the truck started to swerve uncontrollably, in order to be able to stop. Nobody was hurt. The Roadside assistance was not much help. We had to solve our own problem by direct contact with a local UHaul agent and traded out the tow hauler. This tow hauler should have never been on the road. Important note - we scheduled with UHaul one month prior and explained this was a cross country move and needed to make sure the equipment was ready for such a move. We never heard from anyone at UHaul about the experience - no help, no refund for the faulty equipment.

berhanu K.The main reason I have not given this location a higher rating is because of poor communication on the part of Uhaul. I was supposed to get my truck from another location but when I received a text message at the last minute confirming my order, it had the address of this location on it instead. The message did not indicate that the location had changed in any way other than the new address, so I had to drive across town and was late picking up my truck. However, I will say that this location was pleasant and the employee I worked with was kind.

MALLARY V.Pick up/drop off location was fine and the U-Haul reps who helped me pick up/drop off were helpful. The U-Haul reservation experience was much different. It was Poor to Below Average. My truck was not available and I did not get a notification about this. I called the reservation pick up location several times and each time the outgoing message said they were unavailable. I get the feeling the line is never answered as I called over a span of several hours. I called U-Haul's main number, held for 10 mins, a rep helped me by informing me that my reserved truck was not available but could not help me reserve a replacement so I was transferred, was on hold for 5 more mins then a rep answered, began helping me find a replacement truck but then my call was dropped. The rep had my number but did not bother to call me back. I call U-Haul again, waited on hold again for 5-8 mins then was able to get help. I was told there were no trucks available in my area so I reserved a trailer. I arrived to pick up the trailer and there were trucks of all sizes on the lot but was told they were unavailable. This was not a good experience for me so I will use another rental company when my other child moves for college in two weeks.

SALLY W. | First ImpressionsMy confirmation email told me arrive at another location (at 494 North Ave, Athens, GA 30601). I arrived at location right at my designated pickup time. Upon arrival there were more than a dozen people in line, and only 2 workers attending. We were all told that their internet and computers were down, all reservations were being handled manually. I spent over 45 minutes in line. When it was finally my turn, the attendant told me I was supposed to go to another location (at 2900 Atlanta Hwy, Athens GA). I received no notification from U-Haul of the revised pickup location. I basically wasted an hour of my day because if these mishaps. I will not use U-Haul at these locations ever again.

We were to empty a storage unit on site, move the contents to a new home, and then move the contents from a rental house to the new house. There was no 26' truck to be found. As a result, the two $65/hr movers, using a 17' truck, we're engaged for 9 hours. Instead of 6. My out of pocket was $195 extra. My U-Haul fees should be comped. If not, I will never use uhaul again.

Unit was too small for size of truck, upstairs, and cut in half by a huge beam that rendered most of space unusable. 7 foot couch would not fit in supposedly 10 ft unit. No other units available at any price. It was 90 degrees at 7pm inside "climate controlled" facility. Ended up having to keep truck over night and unloading 1/2 of truck into my living room and taking off work to return the next day. Then charged for extra mileage. Would never ever use uhaul storage again and certainly would not recommend. In fact I would say avoid at all cost!

ALEXANDRIA M. | First ImpressionsWhen I reserved my 10x10x10 storage unit, I was not made aware that the total SQ footage would be broken up into 2 units instead of one. I wasn't made aware of that until I arrived with a 20 ft. U-Haul truck driven from Oklahoma City to Athens, GA. It was difficult for my unloaders to get everything split up because the total sq footage was not split evenly between both units. This has also made it more difficult for me, in that I have to move things around in order to easily get to what I need. I'm not a happy camper about this. Improved communication would be beneficial to your customers. ¡Gracias!
