I regret taking a pic of the gas gage. The man that said there was 13/16 of a tank was wrong it was cold i was in a hurry and didn't think about what was said. I put 8.5 gallons of gas in when i was done with the truck which i figured was close to what i used. I only drove 59 miles and put in 8.5 gallons of gas which i had the receipt for minutes before i returned truck. They didn't care about that. basically I put in enough gas considering i was only getting 7 mpg. Mistakes where made on both uhauls and my fault for not clearing things up before i left like i said it was cold and i was in a hurry. not to keen on uhaul right now as i feel i should be reimbersed on the extra gas charges.

The whole rental experience was a pleasure, from discussing what equipment I would require, to arranging times for pick up and drop off, to picking up and returning the vehicle. The truck was well-maintained and clean and available as scheduled. While I did not need any extra supplies, a wide variety of moving materials were readily available for rent, and were offered without pressure. Check in and check out were very smooth, and the staff were efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Parking was a bit cramped and confusing, but ultimately quite workable. I would certainly recommend this location and have done so already several times since this rental, and will be very inclined to rent from this site again.

I have used this location multiple times usually pretty good. No real complaints but the equipment was snow covered making it harder to identify and free the tie downs.

The truck was not ready for my pickup. There was a good amount of snow and ice on the truck and took awhile to clean it off. The truck itself had issues shifting from second to third gear otherwise it was fine.

I was 9 miles over my estimated amount of planned miles. However I clearly had several gallons of fuel (7/16 tank picked up and 9/16 tank dropped off) but didn’t compensate for the 9 miles over estimated mileage. Still had to pay the .69 for each of the 9 miles. Disappointed to say the least. Next one I will barely get the fuel gauge to where it was. This location is a shit hole!!! It’s a dump.

Staff more people at the Schofield location. Stop re-routing "local" phone U-Haul phone numbers to a corporate center. Teach your employees how to properly refund an amount instead of charging my card for said amount. Clearly explain if the Third-Party Moving Help will assist with unloading U-Boxes or just drop them off. Overall, my stuff arrived safely, but it was late and this entire experience has been hell.

you sent me to a drop off location to accomodate U Hauls needs. Miles out of my way for drop off. My pick up location was very understaffed. I was there for over an hour. I had reserved my truck two weeks prior. Very poor experience. But i get the idea that U Haul doesn't care. Cheap, lowsey service for a proffit.

It seems to take quite a bit more time than most retail to make a sale. Whether boxes or tape or a rental. Scanning does not seem to work well or speed things up. It took me three try’s to get your website to accept the information and complete the early check in process. Very cumbersome once I got the terms and conditions. It kept throwing me back to the home page.

John Canter, the salesperson who attached the trailer was very thorough and spent as much time as he needed to make sure our hitch was safe and secure. He even motioned for us to return as we started to pull out so he could double check something. We appreciated his concern.

I was 2 weeks late with my payment. Instead of contacting me, they contacted my brother in Canada, after I had paid, which led him to call me and ask if I were in financial trouble. Not cool!

It is unconscionable that you would have only one employee on duty late in the day at the peak time when your customers are returning and picking up equipment. The line was 7 people deep when I returned my truck, and each transaction takes a very long time. Your employee did not know how to check in the equipment, and I waited a very long time for a $5 overcharge to be reduced. Properly staffing your location shows respect for your customers' time. Hopefully I will not be moving again for a very long time. I would not rent from this location again.

I had a bad experience with this location a few years ago and i asked for a different business. I was lied to and ended up with this location. I was told i wouldn't get this one. I was lied to. Will never trust uhaul again. I did like the Janesville drop iff. Clean buy had issues dropping it off after hours. Owner made it right.

The start of my rental truck was indescribably Horrible. The manger here was very empathetic and made absolutely sure that the over charge was fixed. And went out of his way to make sure I was compensated for my troubles.

I was not told about milage price when I reserved van...thought it would be 19.95+ tax...discovered when i picked it up that the cost jumps to $81...dissapointed and misslead.

Drop-off for employees is less than desirable especially in bad/cold weather. My contacts were pleasant and personable. The three employees who helped me were excellent and had a sense of humor.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with you people and the manager at the Grand Ave U Haul In Wausau Wisconsin . I called in my reservation on Monday October 28 so everything would be set up the way I wanted it . Well that did not happen. When I made the reservation I made it for 3:00pm Friday the 1 of November . I was told and it was on my contract that I would be able to have the truck u till 3:00pm on the 2nd . I was able to pick it up earlier then 3 so I called to see if I could pick it up earlier and the manager said yes. There was a new guy in training that waited on me. He read me the contract and he even read where it said I had the truck until 3 that afternoon. . The manager came over and said the truck had to be back back 7 the morning by the 2nd . I said it was on the con tract he said thats if the truck is available but it goes out by 8. He said I could have it till 7:7:30. A lot a of good that would do. I did not get my moneys worth out of that experiences . We had to go out of town to pick up a recliner. We didn't get much moved on Friday night. My boyfriend had his stuff in storage . It was so dark we could see to move . That's why I wanted the truck till 3 on Saturday. The truck was back there before 11 on the first .I went in for a receipt on the 2nd. I could not believe it was a 198.00 he had the nerve to charge me 20 dollars because the truck was not checked in. I told him there was no way i was paying that when the truck was there when he got there in the morning. Now I know that a contract is a legal document so how can he go and rent that truck to somebody else when it was rented to me . I am going to contact the DA in the morning that is fraud .

I had everything completed for my reservation online, but still had to wait in the store for over 20 minutes just to speak with someone. It's always a long wait here. You guys need to find a more efficient way to process customers. The way it's done now is absolutely ridiculous. Once I'm waited on, the staff are always friendly and helpful, but you need to figure out a better system. It's that bad.

Never called to confirm that the trailer that I reserved was at the location and found out 3 days prior to needing the trailer that I had to go to a different location out of the way to pick it up, even though there were 4-5 trailers sitting at this location. They were for in town use only!

I had more than enough fuel in the truck when I returned it. I think the lady checking it in was reading the wrong gauge or something! I pointed out what the needle showed on my paperwork when I picked it up, and compared it to the fuel gauge. She insisted it was too low and charged me for the fuel she felt it was short. That pretty much ruined the experience for me.

As far as I can tell in checking fuel mileage and noticing the difference on the trucks fuel gauge between when I fueled the truck and when I picked it up it was 5 gallons low on fuel. So, either it was turned in by previous customer that way and no one noticed or you have a dishonest employee.

It took me 30 minutes at the counter (not waiting in line) to process my rental. I had a trainee (who was great), but clearly lacked the skills to be working independently. Instead of helping, the rest of the staff, feigned interest and completely ignored the fact that it was taking me 30+ minutes to process a trailer rental that I had already precheck in on. I literally had to raise ask the manager in front of 5 other waiting customers to stop helping new customers and help me finish my rental. I should have been in and out in 10 minutes. Instead, it took me nearly an hour. ------- I will be doing everything I can to avoid this location the future. The terrible reviews on Google suggest that this is a chronic issue.

The only suggestion I would make is to do something about the north end of the parking lot. It looks like an exit until you get right up to it, and then you realize the sidewalk is curbed. Otherwise this location seems to be run very efficiently and all the staff are friendly and helpful. My overall experience here was very good.

Was there for over an hour trying to make a reservation. Upon picking up the uhaul the attendant was not trained on the system, took an almost to get the uhaul due to poor training and no manager on duty. When dropping off the uhaul we had to wait for the attendant to stop crying to help us. Truck was fine but customer service and timeliness not good. Will never use uhaul again.

THE ATTENDANT WAS GROSSLY OVER WORK, STORE WAS UNDER MANNED. I STOOD IN LINE FOR 45 MINUTES ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE. WITH A SECOND ATTENDANT ON STAFF WOULD HAVE GOTTEN US ALL THROUGH IN JUST A FEW MINUTES.

Put some springs on the trailer. It rides like a rock. It could definitely could not be used to haul anything that could break easy. The service was extremely slow. 45 minutes to check in and 30 min to check out.

Make sure rental is cleaned out before customer comes to pick it up. Be aware of customers. We were waiting for clerk to get done with phone call. the customer ahead of us in line left because she was taking so long, Then another person just walks in and she waits on him and we are still waiting. took forever to finally get van and then we get it and it was not cleaned out prior to renting it out to us. Suggest she get trained on faster customer service etc.

I think there should’ve been one more person to help the person on staff. But, the lady that was there did her best to not only help me but at least one other customer standing in line. I think there was a total of three or four people waiting to be served/pick up or drop off.

U haul needs to stop overbooking trucks and wasting people's time. It wasn't the locations fault. It was u haul website that really screwed me and wasted many hours of my time. Telling me trucks were at the location and I booked it and it wasn't there. Hours wasted. Charge me 20 bucks because I didn't take a stupid picture of the milage when I checked it back in at night. Something you fools would have to do anyway. Double check milage, gas, damage. What a joke. Don't rent from u haul. It's not the locations fault or the workers that u haul sucks

The delivery of our furnishings took nearly 12 hours due to the fact that this company had only 1 cover for the U Haul storage pod. The men worked hard but the lack of supplies was unacceptable
