The U-Haul app did not work on my smart phone. I was unable to use it to pick up my rental. Each time I tried to use the app to take the required pictures the app would rotate the photos incorrectly and reject the photo upload. Very good service! Rates on longer trips are too expensive! U-haul is a major corporation now because you have good vehicles and good staffs, and good service on site! Your phone system SUCKS! FIX IT! You can afford to fix your phone systems. Be professional about that situation too! That makes U-haul seem cheap and it is VERY FUSTRATING!!!! ðŸ˜¡ Time to share the wealth! Lower your rates and hire more staff at a living wage and benefits and watch what happens! You won't be able to keep up with business! You will have the edge on your competition too! Give people what they want and need - thats your customers and your staff members! What a great idea - right? There's many many times I have needed a truck or van, but just couldn't afford you guys or anybody! I put stuff off or looked for a friend with a truck. There was a mixup on how much gas I needed to put in when I returned it. I was first told eight gallons, but I only went 17 miles. It was straightened out right away, and I am very happy with the whole experience!James W.

The mobile check-in still required going to the counter since it was during business hours, and I could not tell if that really helped or not. There was not a line, but I suspect I would have needed to wait if there was because the location has a very minimal staff. I was late turning the truck in and they called me to check in, and I actually appreciated that.James K.

I had ordered my u-boxes to be delivered. We waited five hours at the storage place and it never showed. My husband drove to a local u-haul and picked on up himselfâ€¦. We also had to buy a new hitch which was an extra expense. My box did not show on time in NJ. Nobody bothered to let me know. When I called the help line (I use that term loosely), after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the lady couldn't give me any information. She said that the trucks are subcontracted and that u-haul did not keep track of them. I was really shocked that in this day and age U-haul couldn't figure out a way to track trucks. The guy at my pick up location was great. I am hoping to get my $50 off per day for it being late but I doubt it. I will warn people about my experience.Matthew K.

This is only the second time I have ever used my hitch on the SUV. I have now learned the hard way about the hitch rattling. I wish U-Haul would have warned me about the noise and had solutions like silencer products I could have purchased before the 2 trips. Thank You Team U-Haul!David H.

I was a little late in returning the truck. Ten minutes after it was due back the manager called and told me that if I didn't have the truck back within the hour he would call the police and report the truck stolen. I argued with him about this--how could he say it was stolen if it was only going to be late. This bullying was totally unacceptable. I returned the truck within an hour of our phone call.Konrad S.

made reservation online, said pickup 24/7 mobile pickup without assistance in confirmation emails and directions how to pickup- got to location and entered code and said it was hand delivery, had to wait until location opened. checked out with 24 hour duration locked in, switched to 20 hours after hitting submit on final page. got asked for 5 or more additional services throughout the checkout process making the whole process long and irritating. these could all be streamlined where there is not an additional page for everything you are trying to hawk. everyone and everything at the location was fine, your online process however is a joke...james B.
First off, you all can make sure your employees do a full inspection before renting a truck back out to a 58 year old woman and a disabled man in a wheelchair. My mother paid nearly 1,000 dollars to spread your alls logo from Iowa to Tennessee. Upon returning this truck she's being told there's damage and that she is responsible because your staff FAILED to fully inspect before rerenting out the equipment!! My mother came no where close to an over hang with this truck to do the damage that was already there when she picked it up!! I am highly unsatisfied with your employees poor work ethics and lack of honesty. I will be spreading my mothers story if she pays for your employees mistake and arrogance!Erla D.

These people go above and beyond getting your moving and storage needs met their awesome .So when they get busy and backed up just be patient everybody wants to move fast and say their slow no!!you have no patients ! truck was unavailable when we went to pick up, no one helped us, we called customer service, only got a truck because of a cancellation. Truck was lacking shocks and half our items broke or were damaged. Very displeased with service and quality of equipment.Brian T.
