Didn't Have The Truck Size I Reserved Available Way In Advance. Not Cleaned, Broken Side Window Broken Door, As A Result My Furniture Was Damaged. Had Not Left Lot and The Size Truck Need Was Given To2 Young Girls After Been Told Size Truck Was AvailableLINDA B.

Every time I go to use the truck share (checkin application) I run into HUGE problems. After struggling for almost 30 minutes to try to capture a photo of the dash that the program would accept, I gave up and had to come back to the location the next morning when they opened. Trying to get help over the phone wasn't useful either; spent so much time on hold my phone battery was wearing out.Stephen M.

My boxes were Firstly sent to wrong location. Secondly they were left out for almost a won't, they were not covered in the plastic wraps and some goods were damaged. I also think we were overcharged. Our boxes were unable to be found on multiple occasions because they were mislabeled by uhaul. I will likely be reaching out to general manager but for now I am shocked and will never work with uhaul again.John A.

Communication at U-Haul was unacceptable because one person would know everything about the order number where the other person would know nothing. Customers will find themselves in endless phone calls trying to get their stuff to them. Staff at U-Haul need to call customers before doing anything with their order as well! I didn't know my stuff was dropped off or picked up until after the fact and that is inconvenient to me. Communication was the reason this experience was the most horrid.Tikahya L.

The sales ppl were so quick to connect and get me off property, that they did not check the equipment, nor did the do a walk around. My son was involved in an accident where the trailer detached while driving and rolled him and his SUV and the unattached to the ball trailer, three times down the hill on hwy 95. So I fo not recommend this store.SONJA P.

I would highly recommend using this location for any & all rentals. When I picked up my rental an object got into my personal truck tire & made me start to have a flat tire. I immediately pulled back up & went in & spoke with the nice gentleman & explained what had happened. Him & his coworker got together & fixed my tire. They truly did not have to do it but they went above & beyond to fix my tire. I greatly appreciate how the situation was handled & even the laughter we all shared afterwards. I would like to say Thank you to everyone from the lady that checked my rental to me & to the two gentleman that help me fix my personal tire. Again Thank you to all at this location!SHANNA G.
My transition from NY to NC was made smoothly 4 years ago. I rented a box that was transported to NC and later rented a storage room. My storage was always clean and I felt secure that my property was safe. I even appreciated the area for reuse. I was happy to meet someone who was able to use furniture that I had put out. I've used this location a few times for truck rentals. Easy. Polite. Great process. However, I do have a problem with your â€œmovers helpersâ€. In my house they did significant damage and the owner just ignored me. My brother used â€œmovers helpâ€ in NY. There was an altercation where the movers demanded more money and the police got involved. He hired 2 and they came with 3 and they demanded more money and my brother was threatened physically. In my option. You should drop than movers help option. Mainly because you care for responsibility of these third parties. I can deal with physical property damage. But physical threats to my brother and the police having to be called. My brother ended up breaking contract and just paid the extra mover. Which they also damaged. I still have pictures of all the damage to my house. U-Haul nor the movers have ever responded to my emails or calls. I think you should stop offering these â€œmovers helpersâ€. So far they have all been 3rd rate. Truck rental is fine tho. Thank you.RICHARD R.

The woman who was in the store on 10/27, 10/28 and 10/30 was AMAZING. It's clear the store is short staffed but she was so very polite, very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and so very helpful. Moving is stressful enough as is but she was a true delight. Our rental experience was a fiasco. It started when I received a call that the truck was not available but could be picked up at a different (but further away) location. When I made the reservation I decided to do the virtual pick-up as the website made it sound so easy. However when we got to the new facility we discovered the truck was not there and couldn't find anyone to help. In the meantime the online app changed the truck number for us. That truck was there but the keys were not. We finally found someone to help and she couldn't find the keys either. She then tried to change the truck herself and had problems doing so. She was very frustrated and also bad-mouthing a co-worker for not helping. Very unprofessional. She was finally able to get us a truck. This all took over an hour. I didn't even try to return the truck virtually. The people at the return facility were very helpful and assured me that having a different truck number than what was originally on the contract would not be an issue. If I rent again from uhaul I will definitely not try to pick up using the app again. Way too frustrating.Steve O.

My reservation location was changed at the last minute and I had to wait for some time before I finally picked it up. The truck itself was in great shape but I left feeling like I was overcharged. $90 for 3.5 hours overall is what really has me thinking I shouldn't rent again. Nothing against the people or the equipment. But overbooking and overcharging is just bad business.PETER B.

Although, there was a minor problem with my original contract because the name was wrong, I had to get a new contract. The problem with that was a higher price of $15.
