Busy, but friendly faces.
Wayne OWhen I dropped the unit it was by 11 pm and nobody was there so I can't rate the personnel.
JOSE GI accidentally overfilled the gas tank before returning the truck and you didn't give me any sort of refund. The fact that this is actually a "company policy" is outrageous. The bottom line is that you exploited my mistake for profit. Any rational human being can see how awful that is. Shame on you!!!!

CHARLES MI had an issue with the fuel. When I reserve the truck I walked inside to tell the attendant that the gas level was incorrect (1/2 vs 5/8). I returned the truck at the same level that I received it (1/2). Upon returning I was charged a fuel fee. The employees wouldn't budge. I told them that I won't be back. I've rented from the facility multiple times in the past several years. I won't be coming back. This is all over maybe $30. Pretty sad!

TRACY K | First ImpressionsThe U-Haul website: particularly, the part where you go through the check-out and check-in vehicle inspections have always been glitchy, but, this time, neither the check-out or check-in pages worked at all. Actually, as soon as I would try to capture the image of the vehicle mileage, that part of the website would stop. The website would go back to the login page, and, upon logging in, the login page would just reload. I'm grateful to the employee that checked the vehicle in for me.
JAJUAN RThe starting location ( U-Haul Moving & Storage of Wake Forest) was very helpful and easy to work with. All the employees did a good job at that location. The local office in South Asheville was terrible. They had a really hard time communicating about delays and whoever I spoke with could not be bothered with even minimum service though the women who delivered my container were great so I forgave the bad service from the dispatcher. Everything did arrive undamaged and I am overall happy with this Uhaul container service.
Jane PI walked into the store , I said my goodness so quiet and peaceful and the mean representative Glen said can I help you I asked him how are you doing he responded what can I do for you, I replied happy new year to you and all your associates he replied do you know what you need to get and he never answered or responded back to me as I was asking him, He was very rude , doesn’t have no morals, unprofessional attitude his other associate Raymond was agree with me and the last was very down to earth and very respectful

JEFFREY DThey had to change my reservation the day before they were supposed to deliver my boxes due to a staff training. Which would have been fine had I known when I made the reservation so I could plan accordingly instead of scramble. They drivers left a sizable divot in my lawn that I am being charged for by my landlord. And U-Haul says they're not going to do about it.

CHRISTOPHER WThe man was rude and insensitive to life. It was the day after Christmas and he couldn't smile, greet me at all, or pose any remnants of a personality. NOT a even decent representative for your company. I will never go back to that location. My reservation was for a different location that told me I had to go 20 minutes away to pick up the equipment. What a joke.
DAVID WI am over pleased at the spirit of excellent Mr Dan presented and established handling and welcoming my service there wuth your company!! He went over clearly and very knowledgeable about the company accommodations!! The size of van after my description of furniture and etc. was just right to the T....Thank you Mr Dan for your exceptional assistant! I will truly recommend to everyone this particular experience and place!! Happy New Year to you and all the staff!

DANIEL GThe truck was clean and did exactly what it was supposed to. When picking up I dealt with Jaime, the owner. Dealing with her is like dealing with a brick wall. She is not friendly at all along with the lady that sat in the chair left of Jaime and the black gentleman right of Jaime. Upon return I was told to go inside by staff outside so I did. Then Jaime told me to go outside since I wanted to pay with a different card. Then a staff member outside told me to go back inside. It was a cat and mouse game they were playing with me. I waited over to 45 minutes outside so the assistant manager outside to check me in just so I could pay with a different card. Unbelievable poor service. Never coming back here. Unfortunately it is with in ten minutes of my house but I will have to find a different company next time.

MASOUMEH MTwice I have seen the return lane so backed up with returned trucks that I could not use it to return my trailer. The first time, before I realized what was happening, I entered line. I then had to back up the trailer into the main entry drive (not good), and drive towards main office and park my vehicle and trailer, go inside and ask what to do. Consider posting additional signage to help customers who are returning trailers. They CANNOT enter return line and leave the vehicle in line unattended because that vehicle is THEIR OWN. They will get blocked in!

CARLOS RJust an unusual extended wait upon return of the vehicle with NO ONE in front of me. It was frustrating as I've rented on multiple occasions and never waited at all upon return. There was always someone there to check me in/out upon entry
MARGARET HDespite seeing some horror stories, my experience was great. There was plenty of communication and everything was on time. One thing to improve is the text I get saying a driver is on the way. It was recommended I be available to meet the driver in-person, but it would be difficult to wait outside in cold weather for the duration of the delivery window, since I did not know of a way to track them beyond the intial text. The delivery drivers did a good job despite me catching them late one time.

Sandi KYou could make sure that you have a dropoff. I was told to call a number when i got to the location. I had enough to worry about and now i have to hope i will be directed to a location i could drop off on Sunday. And then i had to pay an extra 30 bucks. You try this process with all you already have to worry about. Its distressing. If this is the way uhaul is going to run things they need to train employees to convince or comfort renters that all will be alright. And the 30 dollar dropoff on top was icing on the already raw cake. Cmon, who runs an operation like this? Do you need someone to talk to the people who think this process is a good idea? Let me know!
BRIAN HStaff was very friendly & professional. Great experience checking in and reviewing equipment. First vehicle they brought out, the engine sounded terrible so she brought out a different vehicle without my even asking. 2nd truck sounded good. The cab smelled like fuel. I thought it would go away once warmed up. It never did. I rode with windows open.

FRANKLIN WWhen we arrived to occupy unit, it had mattresses and furniture in it. Was given another unit that was smaller and dirty with oil stain on floor. Also, the man working the front desk was so incredibly rude and couldn't speak in complete sentences. He treated me like I was an inconvenience to his morning. Never rent from this place!!!
STEVEN W | Overall ExperienceLift stand on trailer was missing pin on one side. My wife told me, while driving down the highway. One side had no lights or signal light. That was confirmed on drop off at destination. No inspection of lights at pickup or instruction's to load vechilce and secure. Good thing I am a old man and not my first rodeo.

The customer service representative proceeded to tell me that there were no units available and that's why when I try to check in online its asking me to pay instead of giving me one month free. That made no sense because I previously spoke to the 800 customer service representative who told me that they reserved a unit for me. I called back with customer service on the phone and called the local Wake Forest location. That's when the customer service representative that initially answered the phone to another coworker who assisted me and checking in. So it's a parent that the first worker didn't want to do their job. In addition, I was told by the coworker that all I needed to do was enter my passcode on the keypad and the sliding doors will open. Apparently that is not the case. It only open the small door. And I had to bring my furniture in that way. Overall, I've had very poor customer service with you all. I've called several times to schedule my self storage and customer service had scheduled it several times and turned around and told me all that would not give you the one month free even though I asked about it initially. I was literally on the phone with them for hours.

NEVER had an issue with uhaul in 10+ years until I came to the WAKE FOREST location. Last year you hit my card claiming gas charges and just did it again this weekend when I filled it EXACTLY where I was told only to find out the girl marked it off higher than she told me in the contract. This is the second year in a row THIS LOCATION ONLY has done this. I have NEVER had this happened with the Garner locations & I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE ELSE TO UHAUL TO USE YOUR SERVICES EVER AGAIN!!! Your employers are Scammers.

Heather L | Online Move InChristine has arguably the worst attitude I have ever encountered in a customer service position. She was rude, snotty, brash, and demeaning. I have never felt so put out and belittled by an employee as I'm trying to make a simple transaction. She obviously has the knowledge to do the job which is why I assume she still works there, but is far outshadowed with her disgusting attitude. I even asked one of her coworkers "does she always have that type of attitude?" She told me "yes". I followed up with "has she ever been called out like that before" and she answered "yes". This is obviously repeat behavior. Jaime was great as she stepped in when I demanded to not work with Christine anymore for this transaction, as would be expected from the GM/Owner. The young lady that originally helped me was great also. All in all it was a terrible experience, took 1.25hrs to rent a truck, look at a unit and rent said unit. The ONLY reason I didn't walk out and just leave was the fact I had already paid for the truck, too much time had passed and the convenience of the location. Would I recommend this location- NO. Everyone in there was pleasant and helpful except Christine. I'm still reeling by the way she treated me and I watch her do the same to another customer. Rude, short, demeaning, ugly and you could see the older lady that Christine was 'helping' felt small and unworthy as she left. It was infuriating to experience this and feel so unwelcome. Maybe she was having an off day, but when her fellow colleagues identify and agree that she has a terrible attitude - I believe that's all the proof you need.

I rented one of the largest storage units for half the price, of the small one I moved into later. Tell me how the small ones is double the price of the large one. Definitely not a storage unit I'll be using or recommending to anyone.

When I brought this up they said they had no way to do auto pay for the unit and that's why it was charging me late fees. That was annoying seeing as - why would you let me sign up for auto pay online if I can't actually use autopay? Other than that the unit was great, clean, and used well.
