Number 1. I had ordered Pads the night before on-line. When I got there, the guy said THERE IS NO PADS... that is problematic for moving furniture. I am assuming that you won't compensate me for repair of any damages that I had sustained because I finalized the transaction because I am a very busy man, so I didn't have another time to move. Also, the kid put a hand truck in the back as requested. He set in the back on its wheels so when I was driving the hand truck slammed into the walls of the truck. I mentioned that to the guy that I rented from when I returned and he said this" "Did you stop and flip it over..?" and I answered NO, because I wasn't going to stopped on the beltline and I had a deadline for this move.... You guys should be better than that...

Start trucks with full tank of gas so customer just needs to fill it up when done. It is not fair to have customer estimate amount to return at 1/4 tank. Only benefits company.

The text with check-in steps to avoid the $20 fee came after the vehicle was already returned. A heads up when we picked up the truck or earlier in the day would have been helpful to avoid the fee.

I wasted 20 min trying to return the trailer after hours with the very frustrating website. I would get to where it required me to take a photo to show it was clean and they website would crash or lock up. I tried this on the app and had the same thing happen.

I am super unhappy with the fact that we had to drive over 2 hrs each way to pick up the truck despite having reserved a truck and tow dolly at a location 15 minutes from our house (Cheapo Depot in Praire Du Chein, WI) over 4 weeks ahead of time.. that is total bullshit!!

I visited this location several times prior to picking up the equipment. Morgan was always very friendly and helpful. I was very nervous doing this move as a female on my own but everything went very well.

When taking my ID, the employee took out what appeared to be a personal phone with the U-haul app to take a picture of my ID. I am beyond uncomfortable with this. Why is there not a clearly-labeled company phone/tablet or similar? I certainly hope that this picture was deleted if it became stored locally on the phone...

pick up location changed the morning of the scheduled date. New location was an hr, away, After leaving the location we traveled only 3 miles and had to return it due to severe vibration. They tried to tell us there was nothing wrong with the unit then said we had to return it to a different location, We removed our car from the dollie and traveled to the other side of Madison to pick up another unit, When we arrived the Rep there told us he could hear the problem with the dollie, This location did a good job handling the issue, the new dollie was fine and we had no problems during our trip. Not happy with the last minute change in pick up location, equipment condition of the first dollie, and the runaround from the original pick up location.

I stood inside the store for almost 1/2 an hour waiting for an employee to show up. I finally had to do their job myself, in order for me to get a truck. 2 other people who were Allah inside waiting finally gave up and walked out. I will NEVER EVER use this company again!

The attendant refused to release the vehicle to me unless I provide personal information not pertinent to the rental contract. No pleading helped. He claimed it's company policy. I checked and that is not true. He just wanted to do things his way and stood there with a smirk waiting for me to give in. I am serious about protecting my privacy. This was very upsetting.

I made my reservation 2+ weeks in advance for a pick up time before the location opened that day. When I arrived to do my mobile pick up, i received a notification that I had to wait until the store opened. I would have been more understanding of the situation if I had received a notification the night before letting me know my rental would not be available. Please work on improving the notification system for rentals outside of business hours. The store took good care of us but it was still unnecessary added stress that day.

I dropped off a rental truck here during business hours, expecting to hand it off to a U-Haul employee. A sign at the return area advised that if returning a truck during business hours to wait in the vehicle for assistance. after 15 minutes and 2 employees passing by without a glance -- there seemed to be no other activity on the lot and these folks were having a conversation, I went on line and worked through the internet-based checkout, which was not my preference - and why I returned the truck during business hours. Then when I was done and found a key drop area where it was unclear what to do, I went in to the (dimly lit) office to look for an employee and found one hanging out behind a desk -- couldn't he have come out to assist a customer? When I asked him about the key drop boxes outside, he said to just give him the key. Overall not up to my expectations.
