Truck was old dirty and smelled terrible inside. Windows were very dirty on inside and visor was broken. Overall though it worked for what I needed

Luis D.The 5x10 indoor unit is a bit on the expensive side and seems to increase in price every few months. The storage hours are acceptable and units are secure. However, the most inconvenient thing to note is the very large bump you have to figure out how to maneuver the dolly around in order to exit the storage facility.

Annette G.My initial pick up location was Glen Cove, NY. I received a call one day prior to pick up informing me that my location & truck size were changed to Syosset, NY (same pick up time). I get there at 9:30am, there is not truck. I call uhaul (30-40 min hold) was transferred countless amount of times until I was connected with rep Calvin Harris. Calvin was not in any way shape or form helpful or inviting, after speaking with Calvin, he appointed me to West Babylon, NY (now 40 mins away from my home). I get to West Babylon & the truck Calvin intended for me to pick up was already reserved by a customer who already had the reservation confirmed days prior. Luckily the rep at West Babylon was able to call the customer in which they had cancelled. It is now 2pm (6 hours from my initial pick up time) that I am able to pick up a truck. Not to mention, after speaking with Calvin he had informed me of a $50 credit for the inconvenience in which was not coming up on the cashier's end (delaying my process even more & resulting me to call uhaul a 4th time for an additional 20-30 min hold time. For uhaul to be such a widely used company, it is not beneficial when a company that needs to be reliable & dependable is not reliable and dependable. My situation im sure as much as others, is time sensitive & requires things like a trucking company to be on time and on the same page.

Add oil†Returned to location where they added 2 quarts of oil and gave me another van. The second van was dirty. Perhaps the worst part was the dirty interior windshield which created glare in the sunlight and the oncoming headlights.

Jason S.Employee put wrong fuel and mileage on paperwork which caused headache upon return. They wanted to overcharge for milage I did not use. Manager was a little confrontational and spoke bad about us under his breathe. In the end he manage to only charge me for what I used.

Or the fact that you put the walk around truck inspection on the customer alone. Went to a link sent by uhaul but didn't hit continue. Went to look at it later but it had expired. I still don't know if it was important to my rental. By putting inspection of truck on customer you take away personal service that a business should strive for. To have a relationship with your customer to show concern that your providing a safe vehicle for their use. Also I had employee remove the blankets and hand truck as I didn't need them and they were taking up loading space in truck

Mary was an outstanding individual and always professional and kind. My experience for the 16 years I had this storage unit was excellent. There was one incident that my car was broken into and the staff was very supportive in assisting with the situation. Thank you for your service and if I am ever in need to rent a unit again U-Hall will be my first choice.
