They never told us that we would be charged in miles not km and then never got paper work to state that to us and then they argued with us about the charges and where very rude and said they told us but they never did before or after we rented the uhaul . I don't know about you but I know of a Hermione store I would not want somebody representing my place like that it gives you all a bad name because I will never rent from them again and was a very good customer rent edvery many times rented from Toronto to BC and will NOW NEVER rent from Uhaul again because of Kumar. When I picked up the truck, the location was veru crowded and seemed to only have one or two staff working (Tuesday). Vehicle inside windshield appeared to have been sprayed with something but not wiped away leaving spots everywhere on the glass. As I drove, it became very apparent there was some sort of issue in the front end. The wheel shook extensively during hwy driving.I advised the staff when I dropped off the vehicle that it should be looked at.

Supply trucks with gas in them. No one wants to spend large amounts of time after that rental. Looking for gasoline. However this location did you make sure seeing as I was with my disabled daughter, to give me an alternate truck with gas. Parking for the customers vehicles would have been good.

I really didn't like that I wasn't allowed to park my personal vehicle on the property. Street parking is timed and if you require your vehicle for a long time I had to park at the mall. Which made the late night return a little scary. The signage is small trying to read it while driving in to the lot.

Very poor service. Used the self check in and there was no key left for our truck. It took them 90 mins to arrange that for us. Rude service when we returned it. And hidden costs when you pay! Please read the fine print it is NOT the cost they advertise. I will never use this rental company again and I caution others as well.

Well for starters an employee called Kumar told me I look like a homeless person I have a gold ring on each finger and 4 gold chains on my neck I own a car and I had a rental key in my hand that I was renting from uhaul when he said this and even if I was homeless how rude can you get this guy should not be working for you it's not me working for you you've lost a good customer because of him. Then you are recharged me a $167 plus $40 For Au haul that we had for 2 hours I go in there today and it's the same guy Kumar he tells me after I explained that I was overcharged actually he flicked a card at me and said then you have to talk to the manager manager and people in front of me were complaining also about U-HAUL Maybe you need to remove him from your business because you're gonna lose a lot of customers.

Customer service was awful, I couldn't get a hold of the location, I rented a dolly that wasn't given to me and still charged for it, I missed a call from the local location and when I called back I waited on hold with the call centre for 50 minutes only to be told that I need to go to the in person location to speak to them since they aren't answering there phones. Really unhappy.

Check in agent was gruff and unhelpful. I arrived and waited for my check in. The agent saw me and motioned I was next. Subsequently another trailer returned. He parked in front of me. The agent took the later checkin first. I had to wait 20 minutes for that. When it was my turn the agent gave unclear instructions about where to back the trailer in to. He then seemed to have trouble getting the trailer off. He left without saying a word. He came back 20 minutes later with another guy. They got it off. Finally he said gruffly “ok, your done”. No signature, no receipt, no email that he had received the trailer and my rental was complete. A really terrible experience.

Provide customer parking! I rented a pick-up for a couple of hours but had to park my car 2 blocks away and walk back to your lot in the worst rainstorm on record, and then back again after I returned the truck. Also, I wasted time filling out all kinds of forms on line for contactless pick-up and still had to go thru the same manual process as always. To make matters worse the clerk needed a photo ID and all I had was a temporary drivers license. Luckily I had a photo of my expired license on my phone. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

-Equipment (utility dolly) unavailable even though reserved. Had to go buy one. -Never answers their phone at the topaz store in Victoria when trying to inquire about a storage locker after 4 attempt in 2 days. Even had the call centre leave a message to call back but never did. -worst of all is during a heavy rain, found out the truck box leaked and many boxes, toys and 2 mattresses with box spring for wet 6” up.

We were originally given faulty equipment (trailer without working turn signals) and it was clear we were expected to drive off the lot with that. After having to ask for equipment we won't get ticketed with, the employees finally found a trailer of the same size that they said we could take. The employees could not have been slower and after spending well over 45 minutes on what should have been a very simple pickup we missed our ferry off the island. Please try to be respectful of both the original agreement made of between uhaul and the customer and of the time constraints that many of your customers are under as you are a MOVING company.

I rented my Cargo Van with the mobile device option. It was highly complicated to go through the process when I was at the location and took 50 minutes to complete. I would not recommend to anyone to rent with this option.

Drop box not visible so had to wait to drop off key to attendant who had to be called to come get it. Did the automated key pickup procedure but still had to wait 20 minutes in line to get key when everything was already completed.

Teach them how to adjust the outside mirrors. I could not locate an switch on inside nor could I adjust them from pushing on mirror to pivot or swing the arm out. I had to lean forwards to check if cars were next to me.

I will never recommend your company to anyone. And I will never use your service again. My rental was in the wrong location. I had to walk a very long way to get it. You can't get through to customer service, and stay on hold forever. No one could answer my basic insurance questions. Your service was one of my worst experiences ever.

The vehicle was soaking wet on the inside and I had requested a dolly and furniture pads. They were not in vehicle and didn't realize until 1/2 way home. Also, the fuel was almost on empty (less than 1/8 of tank). So basically I had to spend an extra hour getting vehicle ready for moving.

The inside windshield was so dirty! The back of the truck was open when we got there, and someone had been sleeping inside on the moving blanket. There was also a syringe in there. It was parked at the very back of the lot on the grass, and, I felt, should have been moved back a bit to a less constrained space (with a tree and another truck flanking). I got back at 1:05pm (was supposed to be 1), waited in line for 10 minutes (one clerk) for her to ask if I was returning, I said yes, she said to go outside for one of her colleagues. Waited another nearly 10 minutes, and had to go back inside for someone to fetch the outside person. So, they dinged me $40 for another day rental, and I asked what for, but I couldn't understand him, so just walked away. I feel like I shouldn't have been charged that extra fee.

The 26 foot moving van I picked up had only 3/8 of a tank of fuel for a 150 kilometre one way trip. Not knowing the fuel consumption of a large fully loaded moving van I could on guess at how much fuel I had to purchase in advance. Consequently upon dropping off the truck there was a surplus of fuel over the amount it started with and it appears that UHAUL doesn't reimburse customers for this. Hey UHAUL how about you ensure your vehicles are full of fuel at pickup time so customers can simply top up the vehicle without having ti guess how much fuel is needed to actually get to there destination and drop off location!!!! For this reason alone I will avoid recommending or using UHAUL again.

U-Haul customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. My account could not be accessed as an authorization code was sent to a defunct phone number, we asked half dozen times to change this, it was not changed. Calling by phone is a nightmare. Each wait time was 45 mins to an hour and a half and when the representative clicked on, it would disconnect my call. When I requested a callback, the representative would disconnect my call when clicking on (this happened multiple times). I have spent hours trying to get assistance. When going in person, they would refer me to the website and my account that I could not access. I don't believe I will ever rent a truck from U-Haul again.

There was absolutely no help. Many staff working but no guudance. Small labeway to do drop off and no one could get in or out. Customers lining up inside that didn't need to and slowing any possible fliwof traffic. Many customers very unhappy and some arguing due to lack of guidance and queue jumping. You can do much better!

I was over charged because they we upset I dropped in in the wrong location, even though they told me I could drop it to either in this city.. I was charged for fuel that I had already filled, as well as extra miles I was told were covered in my cost. After two rude phone calls saying it was my responsibility to get the truck to the other location.

The picture of the drop box for the keys is not what it looks like at all. I was running around trying to figure out where in the world the orange drop box was , only to find out it was a gold mailbox slit on the garage door of the building. Yikes. I missed my bus to the ferry and then had to catch a very expensive cab to get to the ferries in time. Not really your fault but very misleading. Other than that the cargo van was perfect! There is absolutely nowhere to park. I ended up being forced to leave my car in the sketchy hotel parking lot that is full of homeless people. Also there is nowhere to stand while operating the app for pickup. I ended up getting very wet.

Found out after I paid that my unit was on a second floor with no elevator and I had my move large furniture by myself (which would have been less dangerous with an elevator). Had to go back to customer service 3+ times because attendant did not give me access card, did not tell me how to enter the building, just did not seem to be focusing on what he was doing. I asked to be put on a waitlist for a first floor unit but did not get any confirmation.

The lockers are smaller than advertised and when you are storing 18 inch boxes the 3' wide storage rooms need to be just that or they are useless. The first room they tried to put me in was about 28 inches wide and when I complained they put me into a room that was 34 inches and still charged full price. I was left with no choice but to find storage elsewhere and then had to rent a truck to move everything to the larger storage room at a different facility.
