There were no personnel. It was late but th location was clean and well lit. The only complaint is that the picture on the U-haul app about where to drop off key looked nothing like where the key was actually dropped. It was also not well marked physically on site, for such a large site. But this location was night and day between the one with Griffin.

Horrible experience. Rented 3 U-boxes ended up needing 4… moved from NC to CA and U-haul refused to deliver my boxes to address I gave 4 months prior. I had to rent a truck and unpack 4 boxes in parking lot load into truck and drive to my apartment. Absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER recommend or use any U-Haul service again after being a loyal customer for 15 years.

It was a nice experience in choosing a unit best fitting for my belongings. Easy as 1,2,3. The only issue was the fact there were only 2 agents available. An increase in customer service staff for rentals can reduce the lines that were formed during my visit.

We were unable to pick up our truck until an hour after we were supposed to. They didn't put the key lock on the truck like they said they did, and they didn't put the dolly we requested in the truck either. We had to wait an hour for them to open so we could go inside and get what we needed to start our move.

Michael was exceptional from start to finish. Very professional and helpful he truly made a difference in my day. After failed attempts with authorized U-Haul dealers I realized how close by I lived near an actual U-Haul location. My experience was great, they accommodated me to be near the Elevator as I was moving my entire apartment on my own. I'd certainly recommend this location to anyone looking for a truck or a storage unit. There was another gentleman that assisted me with removing the lock off the unit as well unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was also professional & friendly. Thanks to the U-Haul team at this location. Moving is stressful enough and they made it a breeze.

Have a knowledgeable worker at the front desk. Upon returning the rental, the gentleman told us that we would not receive a refund because the flat rate when you pay with cash is $160. Mind you, the receipt specifically said the estimated charges were $116.04 AND we used less miles than estimated. We pointed out that he was looking at the OUT receipt & then he couldn't find the in receipt because "only the GM can pull the receipt" I called customer service and they told me that it was still on hold. So we went BACK in there and told him it was on hold and he said, "That's what happens when you have to get a refund." So on, he processed the refund. The manager called the next day, and informed us we could come get the refund. We explained to him that we already received our refund and he was completely shocked and had no record of it. Please, fully train employees before putting them responsible for people's money.

The visit actually started slow as there was only one person working behind the counter and he walked out to help the customer ahead of me with the rental equipment he was getting. There was a woman behind the counter who was in training and was not helping initially as she was not ready to work the counter unassisted yet. I do not remember her name. After several minutes, she called me over and explained she would do her best to help me. She was friendly, professional, and apologetic for her struggles, even though she didn't need to apologize. Another employee came in while this was going on and he helped both the new employee who was helping me, and he helped the next customer. He was patient with her and very professional to everyone. I wasn't in a rush, and I understand things get busy sometimes, so I didn't mind the wait, but I was really impressed by the great attitudes of both employees.

The staff were clear in their dislike for my refusing and insurance. They double teamed me point out the cost of the trucks and their refusal to accept "third person insurance." They then misdirected me to my rental truck, sabotaged the truck rear door with a large ball-bearing, and only gave me 12 of my requested 24 pads. I drove the truck from NC to Northern Ohio without incident!

there needs to be clearer instructions on how to return the truck at this location. there was no key drop box, i had to ask an employee what to do and they had me park it in an area and leave the keys in the truck so they could clean it. the employees were helpful and nice though

I did not get the truck I requested. I made my reservation online and I entered the small truck because I was only moving a 1 bedroom. Also I did not request this location as the pick up as it is about 19 miles away from where I was moving from/to. When you book online it will change the location and truck to whatever is available at the pick up time you request. I did not realize this until I put in the address to pick up the truck and seen how far away it was and when I arrived didn't see any small trucks. I even mentioned it to the girl I was chatting with and she never acknowledged it. I had no choice but to take it because it was after hours and had to move. I spoke with customer service the next day and told them what happened. A mgr from the store called me back his name was Rob and he was condescending and rude he actually replied "anyway" when I mentioned how frustrating this was. I asked for a refund and he offered $25 off. I declined because as a mgr you can do better than that after I even had issues with the "free" storage they offer that was a mess as well. I'll never use U-Haul especially not this location. It's better to hire movers and avoid the stress and inconvenience of picking up a U-Haul.

The guy rented me the truck then told me to go see someone outside for the keys. He jumped in his car and left. The guy outside made me come back in just to verify my reservation that I showed him. Went to return the truck the same guy told me I had to wait for the guy who gave me the keys. Waited 10 minutes at the desk for the guy to to say now I can help you instead of just helping me in the 1st place and there was nobody in there for him to help to begin with just avoiding his job and responsibilities. To much back and forth cuasing frustration for the customer instead of just doing the job.

The staff was amazing but the truck was a nightmare. I ordered a van ans was told once I arrived, no van was available although I reserved it online. The truck they gave me broke down on me in the middle of my move. A mechanic had to come out to replace a belt. Absolutely horrible!!

1. Furniture dolly that I reserved was not there. They made me drive the U-Haul 15 minutes down the road to a different location to grab one. Why would you not recognize that you hadn't had any dollys returned to accommodate reservations and make prior arrangements. Especially when I have to pay for the gas. 2. I was told I need to bring the truck back clean and in good condition. When I inspected the vehicle the back of the truck was in poor condition because a homeless person had been in the back so they had to clean and mop it before I could go. *a second delay now. Why would it not be kept locked! 3. I was told there was half a tank of gas in the truck when I left. It was more like a 1/4 tank. Therefore I had to call customer service and waste another 15 minutes of my life trying to resolve this issue. While the employees were all really nice…it was a disaster from start to finish and at no time did anyone offer any compensation for the very poorly run outfit. I will never return to that location.

I had to pay my movers more on the hour because the door to enter into the storage facility wasn't working. I also rented a truck and was told to come back to get my storage unit that I reserved online. It took over 40mins (when I returned) to get my storage unit because the office staff didn't know how to work the computer. I spent most of my move at the facility trying to get my truck and storage unit. My experience wasn't pleasant at all.

The storage location says until 10pm I was there yesterday at 8:30pm and it was closed . I call Cuatomer service and they verify it was until 10pm and they call the manager but the manager told that they inform to everybody it was until 8pm. Very unprofessional

Could have been more workers needed in this big facility at that time had to ask someone from your company maybe a sub contractor who does not work directly under the actual workers for help. He was really nice about it

The storage unit is not open yet dormant fully open until August 1st there is no access hours as of now. I wasted money on a truck I could barely use

I have been a loyal member for over two years with unit 813, and I never received any written notice that the facility was going to be demolished. I called about an inquiry for my bill, and then after dozens of attempts to reach out to them and never got a response, I then find out that I had two weeks to clear my unit. I no longer live in Charlotte so I had to spend over $600 to book a flight and a U-Haul to get all of my belongings when all of this could've been avoided if I had more of a notice. I will never use U-Haul again after this experience.

This facility gave me a lien notice on a unit I moved out from even after giving notice a month prior. I submitted my move out request online which I have confirmation of. On site during my move out I explained I was moving out, met with the on-site manager, and even had the movers be introduced. I am unsure what more I needed to do and if there was a missing piece it should have been comminuted by a manager. I do have an email that management switched over which caused the issues but that should not be my issue. You are charging me for a fully vacant unit which is completely unfair and could have been easily mitigated.

They never had a full staff working always one person dealing with customers it sad it always excuses wit short staff and they often put they lock on storages when it paid then they act like they did not. It not good when customers come after the place close to get in they unit and they have they lock on it that needs a major work on

The online service was amazing the only thing that might need to change is if it is a locker that online its explained if its an upper or lower locker. This was not explained to me and when I went to get my keys the lady was nice enough to help me get a lower locker since it wasn't explained. Other than that it was simple and convenient.

I had a nice experience with the uhaul storage facility but a nightmare with renting the truck in Georgia to which I reserved a month prior to my move and had lots of issues when it came to the day of rental. I would really like to speak to someone with regards to that. If possible or let me know who I can call please. Gracias.

This location had a problem with the location itself - can't get in and out because of returning u-haul trucks blocking access to storage unit. Staff was not concerned and did nothing to try to eliminate this major problem considering parking was an issue too.

When we got there we set out on the outside while the camera was viewing us trying to get in we could not get in and then had to go back to the office and wait about 15 minutes and for someone to come to take a lock that was on the unit it was hot

The manager at this facility was extremely helpful and very accommodating. I can tell his facility is popular because of all the activity going on. His staff acted as a well-oiled machine working together to get trucks turned in. I also appreciated the manager enforced masks in the main lobby of the facility.

The facility was overall dirty and not safe. Surrounding streets were full of homeless. Storage rooms were poorly constructed and hard to access with anything bigger than a moving box. The inside staff was helpful. Outside staff was very unhelpful and looked to be high. Wouldn't recommend.
