The gentleman was happy to receive my trailer at closing time and handle my requests even though it was after. He was well trained and efficient. I was able to get in and out with paperwork in under 15 minutes. Obviously a wee run location.. Comment on the trailer. Handled the load well with no problems for the drive

MY DESK TOP COMPUTER IS MY ONLY INTERNET 'DEVICE'---MY PHONE DOES NOT DO INTERNET--ONLY PHONE CALLS!!!! THANKFULLY I GOT MY ESSENTIAL ERRANDS ALL DONE AND TRUCK RETURNED SAME DAY ON WED, APR 3, BEFORE THE SNOW STORM HIT!!!!!!!!! THURSDAY WAS ONE OF THE WORST SNOW STORMS I'VE SEEN SINCE I MOVED TO MAINE IN 1974---AND IT IS STILL SNOWING SHIFTING TO RAIN TODAY, FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! THE CARGO VAN WAS BRAND NEW!!!! IT DRIVES JUST FINE!!!!!! BUT THE HIGH STEP UP IS HARDER TO GET INTO AND OUT OF THE TRUCK BECAUSE I HAVE A CRIPPLED KNEE!!!! I PREFER PICKUP TRUCKS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A MUCH LOWER STEP FOR GETTING INTO THE TRUCK!!!!! The employee was an absolute bitch, lying about the facts, putting in no effort to help me, refusing to give money that was owed to me. Don't worry I recorded the whole thing and it'll be going on all social media putting your company on full blast for it's terrible skeezy behavior.

The 24/7 mobile check-in process is cumbersome and asks for multiple forms of identification for proof that most would not carry around with them. The staff is friendly and helpful inside, but that defeats the whole purpose of requesting mobile check in. Truck was very dirty on the outside. Interior was clean. Location kept attempting to change my contract before and after I signed it.

Next time no surprise fees/charges that aren’t on the cards invoice sent when appointment is made And also getting the work done when it should be, I will dropped my car off at 8am and was told it would be 2-4 hrs at most and my car ended up not being done till 2:30 because other clients without appointments where done before my car that had an appointments. I ended up missing class and work because of this.

The attendant at this location was very rude and not helpful at all. When I arrived he was standing behind the counter not waiting on anyone, he never greeted me. After waiting a bit I asked if he could help me, he just kind of grunted and asked what I needed. I told him I was returning a vehicle a day and a half early, he asked if the vehicle ran ok and took the key and said I was all set. I asked for a receipt which seemed to be a major imposition. He told me I would need to step back and let the person who just walked up behind me step forward so he could wait on him and when he was finished he we get me a receipt………? When he finished answering that customer’s questions about rental rates he printed my receipt and told me he was charging me extra for over mileage. I asked if he had applied a credit as I returned the vehicle in a day instead of three days, he said no credit was due and if I had a problem with it I could call UHaul corporate. This guy is a real jerk and should not be the face of UHaul So to wrap this up I wanted to pickup and drop off at the same location in Oxford, ME, about 10 miles from my house, I booked it like this on line. The following day I was called by a UHaul representative and informed they could not get the vehicle at this location so I had to change the pickup location to Windham (about 50 miles from my house) and drop it off in Auburn (about another 50 miles from my house) which I agreed to do, but why should I have to pay any mileage overage for providing UHaul with this service, I also returned it with over a half a tank full of fuel but received it with barely a quarter tank. Next, I picked the vehicle up at the end of the day on Thursday and dropped it off in the morning on Saturday, so I only used it for one day, why am I being charged for three days ? I am very disappointed with this experience and certainly have other choices when renting ehicles in the fiuture. I selected UHaul because of the convenience of local stores. This is not what I got. End of rant.

Most staff were very helpful, personable. One was indifferent when I closed the unit. He wasn’t rude, just didn’t have strong customer service and people skills which I value at all businesses. The facility was very convenient but with an end unit, the exterior wall had large gaps and o the outside. There was pest control inside the unit which gave some sense of security. The grounds were difficult to navigate as there were always vehicles parked partially blocking some access. It’s a busy uhaul center so I get it, but the systems in place to manage it are not conducive to customer access and experience.

I scheduled an appointment to install a trailer receiver. The day of my appointment I was informed that they had the receiver but not the bolts. I had to return in a three days to complete installation.

Very good service as usual. Very quick pick up and return transactions. Good new pickup trucks get great mileage!!!! Also, their radio antenna receives my favorite radio station from 40 or more miles away in Yarmouth Maine---a nonprofit station supported only by donations, called Heritage Radio---that was granted ONLY about a 12 mile broadcast range by the FCC because it plays old fashioned music--standards and big band classics from the first half of the 20th century that "nobody likes anymore"!!!!!! Back in the 1990's that non-profit station had an 80 mile broadcast range and many hundreds of listeners who sent contributions--till this century when a for-profit station down in Biddeford that plays loud ugly 'popular' RocknRoll noise from a nationwide source demanded the signal that had been for the non-profit; and FCC stole it from the small local Heritage station and gave to the ugly Rocknroll station in Biddefored!!!! That non-profit station with its measly cut-down 12 mile range does not reach my home radio in Auburn!!!! BUT driving down and back on the Maine Turnpike it comes in clearly for the entire trip---the only time I get to enjoy it now!!!! THANKS!!!!

All your locations are excellent.I have never seen a bad one. Improvements? I'd like to be able to look forward to a time or two during the year that you offer a reduced rate on a short term truck rental. I arrived promptly at 9:30 for my reservation the unit was not pulled up and warmed up the outside was frozen especially the windshield and there was about six inches of snow on the roof of the cargo van. I noticed that the van was showing it was due for an oil change when I told the store manager he stated that in fact it had been done. Not impressed!

They make renting a pickup truck in winter much easier than I expected!!!! Great snow removal!!! Entire big parking lot bone dry pavement a day after a bad 2-day storm than dumped 7"!!! Truck bed too----all snow residue cleaned out!!!! GREAT!!! THANKS!!!!

Only issue I had was the ratchet mechanisms for the tire hold down straps on tow dolly needed some lube. Had one side let go on a short 10 mile haul. No harm no foul but just a quick squirt of wd40 would be a good idea before renting these out.

Would recommend using this location but would also recommend calling in advance and confirming reservation. I chose truck share as i was picking up truck at 7:30am and location opens at 9am. Upon trying to pick up truck using truck share i was directed to call for assistance. I was told the location did not enable truck share so while truck was there i could not get it until location opened at 9. I waited over 1.5 hours.

Bring able to allow employees to use the forklift to move customers' property would be nice. I needed a toolbox moved from a UHaul truck and not having access to the onsite forklift made doing so more difficult than it had to be.

Needless to say, I will never use U-Haul again. I should’ve listened to friends and just rented a box truck from enterprise with a hydraulic liftgate. I think I would’ve been much more satisfied. Best luck in the future without my recommendation.

The ceiling was falling in. Most times I went I couldn't access because all the trucks were lined up in front of the unit. At the end, I was assaulted by my ex boyfriend and his son and asked for an extra week to get my personal belongings. I was replied with a very cold, "you had plenty of time".

I had my storage unit for almost 5 years I believe, and I have to say the customer service was HORRIBLE!!! The workers were rude, including one of the store managers your agreement states, and you pay for 24 hour accessibility, however the Uhaul are parked in front of the units at night so no, you don’t have access you may be able to squeeze your body in to get to unit but you certainly can’t bring a truck in. If I was even a minute late with my payment I would receive rude, and threatening emails, calls. My overall experience was just aweful with my storage unit and I will never recommend Uhaul for storage needs. I do want to say that Becky, Ariel, the tall older man have FANTASTIC customer service skills!!!

The one complaint I have is that there were a significant number of mouse droppings all through my boxes of books. I didn't move the furniture myself and haven't had a chance to look at it, so don't know if there are holes in the cushions. I'll try to get to that soon. Your options only allow for a Yes or a No; I don't know yet if I would recommend this site to someone else. I'm certainly not thrilled with mice having access.

I rented a storage unit and had nothing but terrible customer service. I emailed customer service and the corporate email with no responses. Finally on the day I decided to move my belongings to another company, there was a nice lady there and she actually listened to my complaints and took good care of me. The customer service was terrible, the storage unit did not seal well so my items were completely covered in road dirt and I could not access my unit at my leisure because they park their trucks in front of the units. They told me to give them notice. So I went all the way out of my way a few days before I would be there with movers and let them know the day and time I would be there. I was repeatedly promised the trucks would not be there. Sure enough the trucks were there. Went out of my way for nothing. The Manager at that location lacks any and all customer service skills. I have worked in customer service and as a customer service manager for 32 years and can feel confident in telling you he has no skills to be in that position working with your customers

When I went to my storage unit there were trucks lined up in front of the unit. The customer service rep gave us a hard time and just about refused to move the trucks. This happened twice. The customer service is very poor to the point almost everyone is rude. There is also something wrong with the mechanism on my unit we had to pry open the lock every time we went there. I advised the staff and was ignored every time. I also was not offered a refund on the time I have left not renting the unit when I payed until April 9th.

They triple charged my credit card for one truck!! Didn’t check the truck in when I dropped it off and said “ we’ll take the keys and send you and email with the amount charged” I never got the email, only a triple charge for the truck In my bank account.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this facility. The staff including Josh, and the two younger gentlemen (didn't get their names) have been accommodating and pleasant each of the four times I've dealt with them. I even had someone back into my truck on accident (not staff), and they were quick to act, making sure if needed, a claim would be filed. Things must've changed there, since many past online reviews are negative. My only complaint is the lot is too small for all those trucks, it's a cluster f***.

You charged me aCcount for a month's rent on May 16 2020 after I had all my belongings removed on May 15, 2020 Why? So, obviously you are attempting to take something that does not belong to you which is call STEALING. And I had called personally to speak with the manger day's prior to let him know all my belongings.would be removed prior to the end date on my one month storage rental. So you were duly informed and away. .

Where to start. Thank god it was a free month because we rented a uhaul trailer cross country or I never would have lasted the month. There are soooo many trucks parked everywhere it is hard to drive around or park your vehicle. There was always a truck parked in front of all one side of the units. You had to call to say please move the trucks so I can load and unload stuff. Very inconvenient. We were going to sign on for a year but it is too busy in that lot and way too many headaches and besides we found a unit in town for half the price uhaul quoted me! So overall we were not happy with U-Haul!!
