My reservation was for 8am at a location close to my house. When I checked in it told me my location was now 5 miles away and at 9am. When I told the clerk he said you don't have a reservation, you have a preferred location and time. The staff was extremely rude and I had to wait while my truck was cleaned.JOEL P.

The truck had had the ramp stolen, the staff would not trade out for one of the many other trucks on the lot The truck was underpowered, noisy - a mechanical issue normal to neglect of a vehicle - clearly no one from uhaul had driven this vehicle, or no one cares enough to make some basic repairs to keep the vehicle to a decent standard It was drivable - like an old pick up truck you only drive to get firewood in the winter Lady at the counter was nice but non responsive to request for a truck with a rampChris P.
Excellent service. I haven't used UHaul in a few years. The pre-check-in online, the online checking out of the truck, and finally online drop-off were all easy and efficient. I was dreading the experience, but ended up being pleasantly surprised!David N.

When we checked out our truck there was one person at the counter, it took us 45 minutes to get the keys. They started our reservations at 1:30 instead of 2:15! At this point we were already behind then the young woman at the counter who couldn't have cared less that we were this late then said oh I need to clean the truck. We told her not to worry as at this point it was pouring rain so we were going to get it muddy anyway! When we returned it they were as rude as they were when we checked it out! No way we'll use them again ever if I had to drive an hour away!!! Or we'll use another truck rental.WILLIAM C.

It took 40 minutes to rent the Uhaul trailer. We had reserved it online and done the paperwork except the driver's license picture. We reserved from a different location earlier this year and it took 15 minutes. It was not a very streamlined process. Waited in line then had to go out to hook up the trailer then had to go back inside to wait in line again to finish up the paperwork - and then had to go back outside to get the number off the trailer. Only had 2 people working and not sure they were using walkie-talkies to communicate - might have made things more streamlined?Ryan P.

Chad made every single visit to U-Haul awesome to the extreme. He was there every single time I visited - to get hitching wiring installed, to picking up a trailer, and always with a smile on his face and happy to help. He even helped me figure out how to tow safely since this was my first time and I was doing it alone. While I was there in the facility, I watched him deal with ornery people with a firm hand and a cool head and they were being just difficult and demanding. Moving is stressful so I can only imagine how much of peoples' frustrations this guy deals with on a daily basis. I hope Chad gets a raise because I've never been impressed by a U-haul employee to the point of asking their name until now...and after having moved out of KC and taking a month to settle in, I'm hoping I remember his name correctly. So even if I named him wrong, I hope he knows this is about him and that his higher ups reward him for being kind and attentive to all my needs. Dude kills it at his job. KEEP IT UP! You're being noticed!!! (He's the taller lean dude with the dark brown hair and has a small beard)Carys J.

During pick up there was only one person working, but they were in the garage and never came out until I knocked on the window. Even after that he seemed put out wanting to help. For drop off there was multiple staff outside that came and took care of the check out process immediately. That was great.Shawn S.

When I arrived I was told the trailer size I had reserved was unavailable because the one on site needed new chains. Should this have gotten me the $50 guarantee? The last time I got a trailer I was notified ahead of time the equipment wouldn't be available and was offered the next larger size at the same price. I feel I should have been advised sooner than upon arrival. I have used this facility several times in the last year and while you don't have loyalty program it would be nice be recognized as a nice repeat customer. I would like to continue using this facility when needs arise but if need be I willchange locations if this were to occur again.John H.

I am very upset with uhaul. I tried calling multiple times this morning to try and change the location in which we should have dropped it off, seeing as they only let us pick Tiffany springs location which is 30 miles from where we live and there were ton of other locations closer, which made our mileage go up and we were charged for that and wasted the gas tank we just filled up. I was also told from the first location that I wasn't going to be charge for the uhaul until I returned it and was charge the same day of picking it up and was charged a overdraft fee since there wasn't that amount in my bank seeing as I was told that it would be taken out later. I was on hold for 54 minutes with costumer service and when they answered the phone they hung up on me. Very disappointed in the costumer service.Corbin S.

The whole experience was excellent. All I did was rent furniture pads. The phone rental order went smoothly, the staff on site were so friendly and helpful. When I returned the pads on Sunday the computers were down but the staff were upbeat, outside meeting customers and helping. Kudos to management for such great training and positive culture among your employees. I highly recommend!Jennifer S.

I had a conflicting doctor's appt and couldn't make it in time for the drop off and was charged 50 bucks extra late fee, even though they had several truck the same size as ours there. Wasn't like they had a person sitting there waiting for the truck. They were very rude at this location as well. But no matter, will NEVER use U-haul again based on both experiences. Not satisfied with my overall experience at all! I was sent to three different places and almost two hours later I finally got the van I reserved online the night before!!
