Check-in was VERY SLOW. I was scheduled to pick up the Truck at 9AM CDT. Everyone was nice but slow and not efficient. They did not have the truck ready and had to find it then pull it around and clean it out, etc. We did not finish check in until 9:45 AM. This already threw us behind schedule. The inside of the truck was clean, but the engine sounded horrible, a lot of rattling, and would stay on 4 RPMs for a long time before it even shifted gears. I told the girl who checked me back in, but she didn't seem to be concerned and said I could tell the manager. (I thought the whole point of outside, and online check-in was that you did not have to go inside. I doubt she mentioned it to her manager. Also, the fuel gage does not work properly and gets stuck at the 7/8 of a tank. I fueled the truck before return, and initially the fuel gage moved, but then stopped moving and then after a bit the gas pump stopped because it ended up completely filling the tank. I asked the girl who checked me in about getting reimbursed for the 1/4 tank gas they just got for free, and she said that was not possible. I mentioned well if I didn't bring the truck back to the fuel gage at 7/8 you would have charged me $4.75 per gallon. So basically, you all received a fuel tank of gas because your fuel gages do not work properly. It did not read FULL until about 20 minutes after I filled the truck. She just went through a check list and did not seem concerned. We were about a good 20 yards from the front door of the building and those employees outside were just standing around and someone belched so loud it echoed. Not a professional crew working for you, and they didn't really seem to care. Someone should be listening and making notes on the trucks that are returned. They need to be Mechanically maintained. I will look elsewhere next time I need to rent a truck.

The people there cheated me out of money and charged me for 2 extra days when I only had the truck for one day. And wouldn't give me back all the money they owed me. I will never do business with U-Haul again. It's pretty sad when you take advantage of the elderly.

The app glitched on me during check-in. The employee was great at helping. During checkout, I must've answered an answer wrong because the app tried to charge me a $25 cleaning fee for a clean truck. The same employee took care of that for me and I didn't get charged. I wonder how many people don't actually look and just accept the charges. Be sure you fill up the gas tank...I paid $35 for a quarter tank only because I didn't have time to fill up myself. Great customer service and will do business there again if needed.

Rent trucks that are road worthy and not junk. Truck I rented had multiple problems from no right turn signal, transmission that slipped, shifted hard and made a whinning noise. The suspension and steering was worn out so keeping a halfway loaded truck on the road and within the lane was a chore. I'm convinced that all uhaul does is clean out trucks and put them back out without actually inspecting them. I was in a death trap rolling down the road and couldn't even load truck but half way. If highway patrol or DOT did an inspection on the vehicle I rented it would be deemed out of service. This will be the last time I rent a uhaul truck.

I reserved an appliance dolly, but when I arrived there were none available. So, I agreed to use a utility dolly. However, one was not placed in the truck. I arrived at my home to find out no dolly was included. Moving a refrigerator was much more difficult without a dolly. The staff was pleasant, they just forgot to load a dolly.

I reserved an appliance dolly with the truck rental on-line. When I went to go pick up the truck the location informed me they do not have nor have they ever had appliance dollys. This caused me considerable problems because I required an appliance dolly. The utility dolly they gave me did work with what I had to move. I will never use this location again.

The original reservation was in zip code 64111, the mail center in Westport KC. TheY wrote up a contract for a 10 foot truck WITHOUT A RIGHT SIDE MIRROR. AFTER SAYING IT HAD NO MIRROR. I SHOULD BE GETTING A $50 CREDIT FOR NOT HAVING THE RESERVED TRUCK THERE. I THEN HAD TO GO TO PRAIRIE VIEW.ADDRESS.....20 MINUTES 1 WAY TO GET A USABLE TRUCK!!! 40 MINUTES OUT OF MY WAY...I CANNOT IMAGINE IF I HAD DRIVEN OFF IN A TRUCK WITHOUT A MIRROR. WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR AN EMPLOYEE TO KNOW ITS ILLEGAL!!! YOUR BUSINESS IS A MESS. I WILL BE WATCHING TO BE SURE I GET CREDIT FOR NO MIRROR TRUCK PLUS $50 CREDIT MORE ON THE ONE I HAD TO GO GET Prairie view address was helpful

The hours on your website for the Parkville, MO U-haul location (on bell road) are not accurate. The website allowed me to choose “pick up in person at the counter” from 10-2 on Sunday even though that was not actually available, forcing me to cancel that reservation and go to another location.

I returned my truck after hours so I made a mobile return. While it was convenient to do so, the process was somewhat confusing, it took myself an two others also retuning trucks quite some time to find the barcode to verify location. It was very small and not at the main entrance

I waited in line for almost 30 minutes at this location. Then the checkout process took over 20 minutes. This is excessive to me. The woman at the counter was extremely slow. The younger man was fast and was having to do outside tasks as well as counter tasks at triple the speed she was.

I rented a 15 foot Uhaul on a Sunday to complete moving into my new home. While a lot of locations aren't even open on Sunday this location was. They also completed my transaction in a quick, professional and friendly manner. This is my second time using this location and I would highly recommend them.

A gal (in her 40's or 50's, I suppose) at the front desk didn't enter my address right, she was persistent in saying that I didn't tell her right. This is just annoying. Regardless if she didn't hear me or if I did indeed make the mistake, she could be coached to learn how to have a generic line when a mistake has been made/something needs to be fixed. In my example something like, “there was an error on the address” and then she could have moved on and finished the process. Other than that example, the other two gals who helped me are bad ass and I appreciate them, their work, and that they're rocking it in a historically predominantly male work environment. Also the price was INSANE. I could have dropped off the truck sooner if that would have saved me money, not sure why that isn't an option.

After I had a terrible experience through scheduling with another location who cancelled on me about 30 hours before I was to pick it up, and I lost a lot of money on changing my travel expenses, I was very leery of trying this location. Thank God I did! I came in contact with 3 people, 2 at pick up and one at return. Every one of them was fantastic, kind and so very helpful! I would definitely use this location again and refer them to everyone I know. Great staff!

Issue with the reservation address, text message from uhaul showed Address and linked to map to Parkville dealer. Went there and was told go to Tiffany Springs. There were two different locations showing up depending if logged into reservation vs. clicking the linked text message. When i looked at the reservation details there was info to pick up at Tiffany Springs.

The uhaul staff was kind and helpful with our rental. The customers that were there ahead of me were causing them trouble they were very busy and got the line that was going out the front door depleted within minutes. They did a phenomenal job with the short staff they are dealing with and the few select trouble customers that were dealt with quick and easy to get what the next person needed. Andy is an amazing manager and keeps his store together as best as possible with the people and equipment he is given! If I could give this location more stars I definitely would!

The staff were very helpful and kind. The facility itself needs improvement, starting with elevators. It was explained prior to reserving that the elevators were being renovated. I decided to continue because the apartment I was living out off was literally across the street from the facility. Convenience kept my business. Transporting into storage was twice as hard without elevators.

The only thing was when asked if they had a bigger unit, they did on the 2nd floor. I asked if they had an elevator to use, no not at this time it wasn't for use for the customers at this time. We would have to bring our items up the steps. But the General Manager was very helpful even though he was very busy.

The only hiccup I had was when I went to return the truck and unpack into storage, there was construction blocking the particular storage unit. Therefore, we weren't able to unpack that day. However, the staff accommodated time for me to unpack the next day while construction was still occurring. The staff was very nice, and accommodating.

Rented a 5x5x9 however there is a huge pylon in the middle of the unit so it is not what it is advertised as. It is much smaller cause the pylon is taking up a 1/4 of the space
