Make sure the staff are doing their job and maintaining a safe environment for themselves, other staff, and customers. Having a large bluetooth stereo speaker on their shoulder, blasting loud music and playing with your phone while you should be watching the customer who is backing up to hook up a trailer (who also mistakes his dancing to his music as him motioning me to continue backwards), then blame the customer because he thought I was using my backup camera, which I dont have a back up camera.

Slow check in, even with online reservation. Too many questions, put some of these additional phone number questions on the online form. Very slow equipment turn in. Turn in lane was full of vehicles and trailers with no one watching the lot. Finally figured out vehicles in lane were empty and had to run inside to get attention for turn in. Tiffany Springs location needs to take notes from Leavenworth location. Renting there the week prior was a well oiled machine compared to slowness of Tiffany Springs

There was an employee named "Tay" that was talking on his cell phone inside the store while myself and several other customers were being helped at the counter. Tay was cursing quite loudly in his conversation to the point we all knew it was a woman he was having personal relationship issues with. It was more than obvious he was not concerned about his vulgar outbursts and the effect it was having on the customers. The young lady at the counter was very politely trying to ignore his ramblings while she single effectively worked with 4 separate reservations. I watched him ignore her requests to help. She was a model of customer service in the midst of the mayhem created by the disrespectful employee she had to work with. Tay ran over to the bathroom door and beat on it, then yelled at one of the other employees (young man) to get out of the bathroom. The entire experience was shocking to witness. The only saving grace was the woman working the counter in a professional and calm manner. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't even be writing this review. It simply wouldn't be worth my time, but she deserves to work with better people.

I was scheduled originally to pick up in Kearney, Missouri where I live two minutes from. They called from Platte city on Thursday to confirm my pick up. Platte City is 25 mins from me. I spoke to Lily, and she assured me she would take care of me. I was surprised that she really did take care of me and she did an awesome job Way to go Lily and whatever they’re paying is not nearly enough! Nicely done U-Haul.

Victoria was very friendly and helpful. The staff was courteous and positive. Everett was very kind when I returned the vehicle. The location was a bit under-staffed. One worker was serving two customers at two different computers, and I had trouble getting someone on the phone at that location. Overall, however, it was a really good experience, and I would definitely recommend this business.

Desk staff was rude, unprofessional and seemed very bothered to even have a customer. I guess she would have rather continued sitting there eating breakfast at the main counter with her loud music on across from her male co-worker who was sitting there in the customers chair chatting with each other. Maybe the worst customer experience I have had anywhere in years. I am a repeat customer and I will NEVER come back. The truck had the wrong gas reading, by 1/8 of a tank. The rear door of the truck was left open all night and was wet and slippery inside from dew.

I had reserved the truck and equipment in advance. I had reserved 2 utility dollies and 2 furniture dollies. When going to pick my truck up, they only had 1 utility dolly and that was it. Told me it was based on availability and I was out of luck. What is the point of advanced reservation? Made my moving experience take much longer. Then when they gave me the key to the truck, they just told us that the truck was parked out there. Didn't show us where it was parked and we had to find it ourselves.

Other than the Uhaul being as advertised I had a horrible experience at this location. One of the employees was handling an issue for another customer over speaker phone right next to the customer checkout. The girl who handled the transaction for me appeared to be a child of an employee. This girl was 14 years old at the very most & was the one checking me out all while I can overhear the conversation the other employee was having over the phone. The general manager, inspiring confidence after reviewing my reservation quipped: “let me see if we have that appliance dolly.” Not what I wanted to hear, considering the phone call I was overhearing was regarding a customer who rented a 26-foot truck only to be told they wouldn’t have one available at this location. The dolly & furniture pads also were not ready or taken to the truck for me. They were simply set outside ambiguously for me to walk over 100-yards to the Uhaul myself. The cherry on top was being unable to exit out of the main entrance/exit because another customers truck was parked blocking my way out of the lot. The entire experience at this location was very unprofessional and left a lot to be desired.

The girl who does online verification is rude, not willing to explain anything. It was if she didn’t want the transaction to go through and find every reason to cause friction. It was almost as if she gets paid to deny and as a consumer I will look for alternatives moving forward.

The sales associate was a 16 year old who spoke to us in a condescending manner while holding and eating from a large plastic container of either candy or cereal throughout our check-in time. Her lack of professionalism was impressive. Upon returning the truck I asked for a breakdown of the charges and the young man flat told me that he really didn’t understand all of the charges; he just tells people what the total is.

I didn’t like that I had to go to the top floor, but I guess someone does. Other than that, it was clean & the young lady at the front desk was VERY helpful!! I would suggest you put in a freight elevator for the movers.

The vehicle itself drove just fine. But when I arrived at my destination and unloaded my belongings, I discovered that my mattress had gotten soaked and ruined from rain water that had come in from a hole in the truck that was previously unknown. The employee at the store was very nice and even took pictures of the damage from the truck. I wish there was more that could of been done about this because the uhaul store only returned $70.

Upon arriving at the facility, I had to wait quite a while before there was anyone available to assist me. I had trouble adjusting the driver seats and called back to the facility. I was able to make it work after that. I was told I had to refill the gas tank back to where it was when I got in it. I filled the tank. I asked when I returned the truck why am I filling the tank up when it wasn’t full when I got it? I was told I was just supposed to fill it to the where the amount of gas I used was replenished. How was I supposed to know how much gas I used? I was told they do not give cash refunds there.

When I first pulled up I was asked to drive back around to the "customer parking), there was no parking labeled... I assumed I should pull under the canopy as I needed a trailer. That was not really a big deal. When got into the leasing office, the staff at the desk invited me to the desk as soon as the person in front of me left. But the rest of the time they carried on a conversation between the three staff members (who appeared to be family and/or close friends). When they wrapped up the rental they told me where to find the trailer around the backside of the building. I have rented a lot of trailers from UHAUL and this was the first time it wasn't hooked up and lights checked by a UHAUL staff member. I had no problem getting hooked up but it just felt a lot like the customer service at this location could be largely improved.

I was extremely disappointed with UHAUL this time. I was promised a truck in my town. Then, I was called the night before, and told I had to drive to a different location. This added gas and rental mileage. Then, when I asked to have it dropped off in my town, they told me I would have to pay more, even though it was YOUR FAULT. Then, I get in the truck and the check engine light is on. The lady told me that the vehicle was missing on a cylinder. but should be ok to use. I understand that it worked well enough to do the job, but that also affects the gas mileage of a vehicle. All in all, I spent a considerable amount more on this truck, then initially figured, because of your company. The only attempt by your company to try and provide some sort of customer service, was to offer me a bigger truck at the same price, but at a later time. Considering, I wasn't notified until the day before, and I had all of my help scheduled, I couldn't change the time. The vehicle was clean, but obviously because of the check engine light, I couldn't say well maintained. I also found the location to be understaffed, the line was long, and considering I had to wait in it twice, once to pick up the vehicle, and the other to tell them of the check engine light, I was severely annoyed.

The representative who helped disconnect the trailer from our vehicle was very helpful and knowledgeable and quickly realized the trailer needed maintenance prior to being rented again to another customer simply by looking at the tread on the tires.

What I asked about a furniture, dolly no one answered, or responded to the lady at the front counter. Then I had to go and find someone to show me where my appliance dolly was at. Second, my vehicle is not pulled up the front ready for me to take it was more that I interrupted some type of get together or meeting with them. I no point they silenced the alarm that was going off annoying every customer at the front. when listening to explain how to do a return, the lady was not pleasant with the customer and pointed instead of showing or walking around or directing one of the other socials to show them where. Also watching people smoking inside of the garage area for intake of equipment was also unpleasant.

Couldn’t get the large door to open automatically to wheel my items in. Had to gain access through a large bulky door and hold it open while I pushed the cart in. Really not convenient and made the move twice as hard. Additionally, there were three carts available and they were in use by one family. So, it took longer, again, to move than expected. Not a good experience, so far.

Just moved in but I’m impressed with the facilities. Grateful for the courtesy carts! Only thing I’d change is more time for the elevator doors. There are 3 and you don’t know which one is going to open. If your cart is in the wrong position, the door closes before you can stop it. Frustrating!!

My reservation for storage was lost in facilities computer system. I showed them my reservation number and they still could not find. A unit large enough to handle my storage in a heated location was not available. I had to take a larger unit than required in a non- heated location so I could unload my possessions and return U-Haul truck. I had to sort through and remove my liquid items that would freeze and make other arrangements for storing these items. I am seeking relief from you for this terrible treatment with this facility. Please call and discuss this issue with me, as I am very upset at your lack of performance!

For some reason this morning because of the snowing last night, the window and the mirrors on the truck were covered. I started the truck and when I got out of the vehicle the door shut but locked automatically. I didn’t understand it but I called and they came to help me they were there and a half an hour. It was a lot of money to did I have to pay for it. I wasn’t ready for that that was. The first time that the door locked automatically and I didn’t understand it but you were there to help and I think you with all my heart.

This was a remodel of a old hotel. They have been a storage facility for quite a long time in that location. And the elevator has never worked. That is the reason I moved my stuff out.

The elevator was out of order the day I moved in and was still out of order the day I moved out marking it very inconvenient having to haul items back and forth on the stairs and the the very last step on the bottom stairs to the exit was missing and I almost twisted my foot cause I stepped down hard thinking it was a step there and the stairwell is not lit very well.

The office staff was rude and acted as if they were doing me a favor even though I was the customer. They did not go above and beyond to ensure that my experience was 5-star. They were not willing to assist me with clearing out the remaining of my Mom's items left in storage just to incur fees before closing the account when I clearly advised them of the situation.

I can not remember the name of the sweet girl who assisted me, but she had very short, buzzed hair and she was so kind. She helped me with all of my needs and made sure I was well taken care of. She made a difference in my day and I hope you tell her how wonderful she is.

The elevators don’t work and they do very little to compensate you for it.. the staff is also very unprofessional walking around on the phone instead of helping customers

Communication was horrible until things got in the last-minute and the manager at the Tiffany Springs location absolutely disrespectful and belittling. The staff outside of him were professional though. I honestly hate that I chose that location and uhaul all together for my storage. I may not have ended my terms with them in the best manor but honestly after the process I had with them followed with the grand finally unprofessional conversation (or lack of) that I had with the manager, I was sadly just over it in total. I will say that the facility as far as the units were clean and again the staff were professional once you did get them on the phone but thinking of the manager and his conduct frustrates me till this moment.
