The gentleman was very nice and accommodating. The woman who came in to work was very rude. When she first walked up, we were apparently trying to get into the storage area through the wrong door. (Not marked as after hours door only). She wasn't in uniform and came across as a rude, know it all, pot stirring customer. After she put on uniform, she wasn't much better. Her tone is very off putting. Her customer service skills were poor. Not sure if she's actually meaning to be that rude or if she is. Also, we brought a lock from home and we're told we had to use a certain kind for the unit and had to buy one there. Needs access from back of facility to access back units. We were told they had to rent the ones in the back first. Unloading a HUGE uhaul was extremely tiring alone but then having to carry or push everything from the front door, past empty units, to the very last row made it even more so.

I was pleased with my experience that I had with this u haul location. Everything was explained to me clearly and concisely. Everything went well for me from the beginning to the end of the time period that I had rented the truck from. Thanks for a wonderful all around experience.

Had a substantial check engine problem with air conditioning in and out throughout the duration of the rental but not likely the fault of the originating store. The light didn't go on until 150 miles into the trip. They also made good on a promise to adjust my rental and I'm very happy.

The facility I moved my storage items into is new. There were a few issues with computer log-ins that came up but they have all been worked out. The units are very clean and the safety that is built into each individual unit is impressive ! I feel my items are safe in their storage unit !

My comment isn't for pickup or drop off. The 26 foot truck had an inside tire that blew and peeled the fender back while I was towing a 55 Belair. It took the uhaul dispatch 15 minutes to acknowledge we were disabled on the interstate. After an additional thirty minutes I text for an ETA. Then they asked for the tire size and truck number etc. it was sent with pictures and fifteen minutes they wanted it again because they thought it was the car trailer. Several times we were notified they were working on getting an ETA. After ninety minutes I text we were sitting for ninety minutes waiting for an ETA after driving fourteen hours. Then dispatch stated the repair truck would be there in ninety minutes?! We were outside the largest city in Alabama (Huntsville) and it takes three hours to get someone to change a tire? I can see room for a lot of improvement.

Instructions for after hours drop off only encouraged mobile app “drop off” which did not work. I had to call to get “permission” for key drop off. Took way longer than it should have.

Of course when I go to turn in the truck, the counter persons after looking at the truck says “they didn't tell you you needed to sweep out the back of the truck?” I informed her that I swept out the truck and then blew out the truck with a blower. She then tells me the truck should have been returned with 1/2 tank of gas. At this point I'm about to lose my mind. I explain to her that I talked to U-haul customer service and they would make notes in the file that the tank was 1/4 and the mileage was 82400. She then says she sees the notes snd then asks if I took any pictures of the fuel gauge and mileage. I told her I did take pictures and loaded them into the U-haul app. She said the pictures weren't there…. I told her that when I tried to say the mileage was incorrect when I was checking in, the app wouldn't allow me to upload the picture of the mileage or change the mileage. The app kept showing “uploading” and wouldn't clear. She said that I should have taken pictures and kept them on my phone. I informed her that U-haul customer service didn't tell me to do that…. At this point I'm just tired of U-haul processes. I've only used U-haul in the past and never had problems; but after this rental, I've probably going with someone else when we move in two months.

Moving Helpers One of the Workers attempted to scam me out of $450. When it didn't work, he quickly left with the other Worker. He ended up getting $250 out if me in addition to my pre payment. This Company needs to be reported and warned to others. They claimed their time started from the time they left their place of business in Columbia, TN to Killen, AL. I spoke to the women at Fast and Friendly moving three times before move date and she NEVER mentioned this aspect to me. In addition the scammer states he came from Nashville and I WOULD be paying him his travel time. When asked why he would come to a small Town in Alabama to provide services since he was from a large metropolis like Nashville he stated, I go where the business is. This was totally an unprofessional service and Worker were rude, intimidating and threatening. This Worker kept repeating his payment code was not working and he wanted my pre-payment to U-Haul RIGHT NOW, I will definitely not use anyone referred by U-Hail again.

The lady who gave me the keys to my moving truck did not tell me the extra key was to the lock on the back. When I got to the moving site we discovered the back was locked and had to use a hammer to bust off the lock. When I called the owner of the Uhaul center she was very upset with me. I told her when people are moving there is a lot of stress going on and we don't have time to figure out padlock situation's. Everyone shows up ready to move furniture and there's a sense of urgency. The owner told me I cost her $50 for a new lock and I said her employee did not tell me I had a key.

The representative had a fairly bad attitude. Very judgemental towards anything said. I was billed extra, for no reason (uhaul refunded it). Tried continuously to upsale me on things I didn't need, including telling me the wiring on my truck was bad. He broke my 7 to 4 way adapter. I fixed my adapter and got the wiring working by reseating the trailer on my hitch (ground). Nothing wrong with my truck at all. To rent a 5x8 trailer took use over an hour.

After hours when I went to turn in vehicle the person who was finishing up and cleaning ones out that had been returned helped talk me through the online return. Great, easy experience.
