The truck itself had a screw in the tire. Come on now. I'm paying $100 for a unit to borrow that can't hold air. That's a wee bit ridiculous. The staff was nice and aired up the tire after I asked, but that truck shouldn't be available until the necessary corrections have been made. I rented a van earlier in the month and it was pristine. The truck rental was 19.95 but after I returned the truck the total was 29.95 plus another charge of $9.78. I put the gas back to the original, and the bill really does explain why there is a truck that rents for 19.95 and it ends up being $40.00. my husband left his phone in the truck by accident and when I went back the next morning to pick it up the gentleman 8ns8de told me I was free to look inside the truck because he had checked a few trucks in when he opened. So basically if he had rented the truck out before I got back up there someone would have easily got the phone. My point being, if you checked the truck in and the phone was laying on the center console, I stead of looking through the truck, the center console was flipped up and the phone flew behind the seat.JAMIE L.

I was charged for mileage and should not of been I was told I got 175 miles and an extra 15 to go 20 miles for my truck to Muncie. And we had a 10 mile detour coming back to Anderson. So 50 miles was just in getting the uhaul and bringing it to my start point.Devon F.

While the truck did just fine on the trip, the engine light was on, which when we ask were told the catalytic converter had been stolen days before and didn't have the exact right part so the sensor stayed on, that was OK, but the only complaint is they talk about having great suspension, well I'm here to tell ya, that isn't quite so. But we also realize we're driving a 26ft box truck. Overall though the experience with pickup and drop off we're very easy. Thanks.thersa M.
When we called to schedule a pick up they said it would be ready. When we got there they didn't have our unit ready and we had to wait for over 45 minutes. When you hired movers and have to pay them waiting for your unit to get ready to take it didn't set well with us. We called 24 hours in advance to schedule time we would need unit ready.laurie B.

The truck I rented had an intermittent "Service Tire Pressure Monitor System" error, and the doors were difficult to latch. These things could have been easily addressed prior to renting the vehicle to me. Otherwise, both employees that I worked with were very pleasant and helpful. Cheaper price for being 5 hours late. Not overcharge me for miles. I have spent over 4000 this year on rentals with yall for no discount at all. I could have bought a used uhaul and trailer for as much as I have spent. There was a used vape and lighter and black and mild in the truck when I rented it. Nobody knew the difference in 48 inches clearance and a 56 inch gate opening yall had on the trailer I reserved. I will be purchasing a trailer and truck soon to avoid the high rental chargesmelinda R.

Take the time to tell your customer how the truck is numbered and explain exactly where the parking space has letters.When you are looking for your truck have the employee greet the customer,not be waiting for clock out time and completely ignore them.Don't send the customer back and forth for just to be sent away without anyone knowing what is going on.I had already paid and was called the next day asking me where the truck was.I was delayed in my moving process and General manager was rude and said when we were having problems finding the truck because of the numbers on the side of the truck not on the back.Was making trips back and forth talked to people from Alaska when I was from Terre Haute In.Made trips back and forth with nothing getting resolved.General manager said he was on call and wasn't notified of the problem but was usually noticed by email but hadn't been.This made the move behind for us.With this service I was very disappointed 😞 and would never recommend U haul.Was charged an extra 50 dollars after the general manager told us not to worry about keeping it a little longer.It was verbal so that was a mistake I made.I really believe you need to train your people how to deal with problems instead of having us standing in the rain and being told they were sorry they hadn't fixed the problem instead of charging me an extra 50 dollars because none of the several different people I had talked to didn't contact him so that he could have fixed the problem.Come on U haul this isn't anyway to run a business.I will never recommend this very unexceptable behavior from a business that should have fixed the problem not cost me more money running back and forth costing me more money on a stressful day of moving.I plan to tell anyone that tells me that they are wanting to use your establishment about the poor service that I encountered and hope you will hire more qualified help.I was really floored being transferred to Alaska for help in Indiana.If the General manager was supposed to be alerted then he should of been there helping us not calling us to see where the the truck was.You had been paid by me over the phone but I will never pay up front for a service that turned out to be a more costly to me because no one could be bothered to fix the problem.I hope you can get better qualified people that are there to satisfy there customers More help better trained to help the people on what to do and not make it more costly with added stress.I wish I would have paid a friend to help with this and will use there truck and it probably would have been cheaper.I wish things would have had a different outcome but they didn't.I will be sending a copy of this to the BBB in hopes you will not rip of the next customer.Maybe hire an employee to be on sight trained to be able to not call me the next morning and not even know the truck hadn't left the lot.He wouldn't have had to be explaining to us in the rain they should have emailed him.I said wow he didn't even know the truck hadn't even left the lot.The workers that were there were to not busy waiting to start there weekend and hadn't tryed to help to come offer any help.Very unhappy customer 🇺🇸😡Betty F.
Transmission acting up, finally when I got replacement truck I was already late on picking up unit, the place closed at 6 and I didn't have enough time so had to make two day trip but was told they give me free day and take off 1/2 mileage, we'll get my bill and it's 540. Called about bill and no one wants to talk to me. I'm pissed this wasn't my fault, and I shouldn't have to pay for second day when I rented truck early enough to make sure I can get in one day. If they don't fix this bill I will show this to everyone on Facebook, I've always paid my bill in past and this time I shouldn't have to. The truck with issue showed 5 things wrong with it. I had my belongings in storage for 3 years. I was supposed to move out of state to teach for a year but it fell through and I ended up living with family. I wasn’t pleased that rent increased 2x in those 3 years and for what? It was also horrible if I needed to reach someone. Rarely was able to. Often when I did the agents were rude. I paid most often in advance a month or more and yet when I needed just a few more days to move my stuff out I was forced to pay a full month more and told there would be no prorated return. Everything was great except I noticed what I believe to be mildew on some of my stored items. So far It has come off I believe except for on some pillows. Obviously the humidity control was not up to par in the actual storage units but for the most part my things were stored safe in a place all summer.
