This truck was received at the Wabash location on Tuesday, September 6th, in the evening. Our due date was Wednesday, September 7th @ 5:30pm. While dropping off the truck, we were assure everything was good to go. We handed the desk clerk the keys and left. Then, I received a call yesterday morning that there was no sign of our truck and Uhaul needed to know if we needed an extension. I truly believe a paper log could be better maintained than everything uhaul tracks via computer, online, etc. After the nightmare of an experience in Naples, we were excited to be done with this experience.. only to find out, that now there is no record of our truck being returned. After a 40 minute wait/call with Melody, the issue was resolved thankfully. She was able to let us know the reservation had been completed and the truck was received. I don't understand if all of the issues rooted from the Naples branch, but our entire experience was an absolute mess.Patrick M.

The location itself is great. The company's software and processes could use an update and overhaul however. Rental recommendations for best pricing and streamlined and easier accessed customer service would be a huge benefit for the company and its customers.Jaye H.

Outside of uhaul was damaged a little, but nothing to affect what I needed it for. On the inside of the uhaul: passenger side vent was broken, the headliner had marks on it, and there were sunflower seeds all over the floor an in the cup holders. When I tried to do the before leaving evaluation it wouldn't let me take a picture so I had to change the option to yes, for it being clean.Angel S.

Ordered a truck online got to location wanted to give me a box truck, then charged my card 68.00 And change, came back and reduced price cause it was wrong and still haven't recieved my 15.93 cent refund! We have to use this location and in the last 3 times we have been charged different amounts for the same trip and use. Try to avoid typical "busy" times (like weekend mornings and evenings). The location is not well designed for volume and it can be very congested moving vehicles and equipment.Robert K.

This location was less than a mile from our son's apartment, but it was not listed online as a dropoff choice or by phone call reservation. For the original dates I wanted, I was given a dropoff location in Illinois - 30 minutes away! Fortunately, on the confirmation call I was given this nearby location. When dropping it off he said he didn't know why the online reservation does not list their location as a dropoff as they were low in trucks and they are open 7 days a week. Really helpful team at the Terre Haute location. The only thing that I could ask for is on your hitch manufacturing that the hitch had tighter tolerances (a lot of rattling on the road due to the hitch being rather loose in the vehicle's OEM receiver.Otto H.

Trailer was horrible to tow. Zero suspension, tires felt like solid rubber. You could feel every little bump or crack in the road. I would not ever rent a 5x8 againD M.
I wasn't happy that my original reservation got change from a one way to daily rental. It did cost me more in gas and miles to bring the truck back. Then the evening before my pick up uhaul called and changed the time from 7am to 11:30 am. my help showed at 7am and I had to pay them to sit and wait. I went to my pick up location at 10am and was told the truck had been sitting there all night and could have been picked up anytime. The move cost me an extra $300 because of uhaul changing me original reservation made weeks in advance.Douglas H.

The box area of the truck was filthy. The furniture pad holder was dirty and there were no pads available. The truck was not ready for my pickup. I had to wheel and load the dolley I ordered, the cardboard sign was still in the window. In the back of the storage area on the left side wall, it looked as if someone blew their bloody nose onto the wall. I know the trucks get a lot of wear and tear but the truck I was given, I felt I needed a shower after being in it. Being 1 month late on a storage unit should not mean adding OVER the amount of the storage unit itself in late fees and lock out. Give the customers at least another month to catch up before doing all that while we are in a NATIONAL pandemic and times are hard. I had my belongings in storage for 3 years. I was supposed to move out of state to teach for a year but it fell through and I ended up living with family. I wasn't pleased that rent increased 2x in those 3 years and for what? It was also horrible if I needed to reach someone. Rarely was able to. Often when I did the agents were rude. I paid most often in advance a month or more and yet when I needed just a few more days to move my stuff out I was forced to pay a full month more and told there would be no prorated return. Everything was great except I noticed what I believe to be mildew on some of my stored items. So far It has come off I believe except for on some pillows. Obviously the humidity control was not up to par in the actual storage units but for the most part my things were stored safe in a place all summer.
