Good experience overall. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful in the yard and office. The washroom was very surprisingly and unexpectedly clean and appointed. Not expected at all. Good job all around.

The telephone service was atrocious. I couldn’t return the vehicle (after hours) as directed, and when I called the contact centre, the person who answered didn’t know what to do and put me on hold for over 45 minutes. At that time, I put that line on hold and called in again. The second CSR took the call and also didn’t know what to do and had me go to a website which only showed my previous rentals. Also putting me on hold, I had to leave the vehicle (took pictures of the odometer and fuel level and key), put the key in the drop box and left premises. I drove home (over 70km away), STILL on hold, and even for 26 minutes after getting home, which is when I gave up. My contract number was 97171046

Lengthy waits to check in and check out due to lack of staff. While waiting to check in, there were other frustrated and very angry customers waiting for staff to attend to them. This is the 3rd U-Haul location I have visited, and my experience has pretty much been the same at all locations. I only continue to use U-Haul because of the cheap prices compared to the competition. I suppose that with cheap prices, comes lack of staff.

I initially called the Uhaul in Delta by the Alec Fraser bridge. This Uhaul location told me there was no way that I could get a Uhal 12x6 trailer as it was a very busy time for Uhaul. My wife then called the 1800 number and spoke to a very professional lady on the phone and she arranged the rental and said there were no problems getting the trailer. I am unimpressed with the local Uhaul people in North Delta but the people in Surrey were very efficient and were helpful. The lady on the phone was very professional and facilitated the rental well. The Surrey store is large and is efficient.

I was doing a move and needed the equipment promptly , It was not avail on the dated booked, Went to the first location and the car dolly was not there, then was referred to the 2nd location and they had not record of any dolly for my use on on a subsequent date . I then had to rescedule the moving crew at an incomvience to me . Then I was reffered to a 3rd location that was an hour drive through rush hour traffic on a long weekend only to find that then U Haul tried to sell me a car hauler instead of the dolly that was booked and requested. I told them that was un acceptable as the car I was transporting was not operational and was impossible to load. Then got more run around and after another hour I was told that if I wanted to drive to a 4th location there was a dolly there if I wanted it and a refund would be applied at point of sale . So off we went for another hour drive back in more traffic to find the dolly was there, At this point I was extremely frustrated but had to have the equipmnet so went ahead with the transaction. The man that I spoke with told me that there would not be a discount and I would have to talke to customer servide in Arizona as they only collect money at that location and do not handle custome service. Went to connect the dolly only to be more frustrated as the tire straps were not connected properly and the person told me I could fiqure it out on my own.. Anger is not even a strong enough word at this point , So I would not leave the yard untill he fixed what shoud have been ready for me in the first point. This whole experice was unprofessional,right from the point of pick up and everyone just kept passing the buck on to someone else and j not wanting to take any responsibility for an error that occured. I will never rent from your company again and will be passing on my experience on to everyone that I know. The drop off location was appaled when I told him of my experience and wished that he could have offered me a refund to try to ease my frustration . I wasn’t happy with the attitude of the guy that helped me check out the trailer I rented. He was a jerk. I have sold trailer parts for 26 years...I have knowledge of what I do and don’t need. He talked down to me.

My overall experience with U-Haul Langley and Head Office was horrible as they took my reservation on moving day but had given the unit away by the time I arrived with my goods, but Surrey was great.

UHaul has e-mailed me to ask me to comment on Ubox service in Surrey, B.C. I have never had a UBox there. I never booked any UHaul service in Surrey, B.C. UHaul online system is broken. Don't trust it

My review for U-Haul is poor. Customer service was awful she set me up for a storage unit telling me it was free and when I got to the space it was $119.00. telling me it wasn't free so I went to PC

My experience with UHauil has been horrible. 3 Customer Action Reports I filed, that's how bad it was. Though I was compensated for the frustration and turmoil - I will never use them again.

When we came to pick up our uship boxes. They were not ready for the time we were promised they would be ready. The boxes were loaded on the trailer incorrectly and needed to be reloaded... No space.

Staff fooling around in vehicles. Only one trolley available to move my items. When asking staff for assistance they are nonchalant and surly. Not happy with the frequent price increases.
