Parking space for customers,when they leave there vehicle for a couple of hours renting.it is ok as well parking from the street if somebody will take a look on it.customer will be happy if there vehicle also secured and safe ..also it's confusing about the kilometer usage charge .the Gasoline is separate from the charge.did you know that the 78.something cents from each kilometer was already a good charge for the gasoline cuz I consume 20 kilometers and I only used 1 gauge from the gasoline meter and I filled up C$10 only and it is over 1gauge from the mitre so I filled up more from the previous mitre gauge when I take the vehicle .yes my request is if you can include the gasoline usage from each kilometer so that the customer will be back very fast sometimes I am thingking it is also consuming time doing that thing imstead they can comeback right away to your outlet centre. Only if it is possible that is just my suggestion I think customers will going to agree to my suggestion but it depends how much you are going to charge per kilometer it will going to depend as well how much the gasoline rate per liter.but all in all your service is great ! Thanks UHAUL you are really a big help for all the people that are moving or need to move something by themselves it is also more convinient and secure when we are the one who will handle to our own things, nothing will be brake or damaged .if there is no one will be blame, only us!we really save a lot rather than hiring a movimg truck or vehicle and personnel . I did not have a cell phone. The U-Haul agent would not initially allow me to rent the vehicle because she said that I needed to inspect the vehicle and send back my inspection review by text. It had been about two years since I rented a vehicle from U-Haul so I was unaware of this new requirement. When I asked for a paper copy of the inspection review the U-Haul agent that it was not possible. Finally she advised me to inspect the vehicle before I drove it and let her know if there was any pre-existing damage. I inspected the vehicle and found no pre-existing damage. Otherwise, the experience was good. The vehicle was good. I was able to promptly settle my bill with the lot attendant after he inspected it.ROGER R.
The lot was a disaster, very busy which is fair. The Auto Transport I had rented had a wheel strap that was torn & was not usable, fortunately I had an extra strap on me to make it work. Seems as if the equipment was not safely inspected prior to our pickup.Colton R.

I was told at the U-Haul office when dropping off my rental final payment was 82.79 which I could pay on Monday I just received an e-mail that my final payment is over 100 $ which one is it and why would it be different something suspicious is going on here and I don't like itBRANDON H.

I missed the drop off time of 10 am as I had mistakenly assumed that an extra day's rental would be for the entire day as long as equipment was returned prior to close . The tires had no thread left on them and when I booked it i requested for a pick up truck with a hitch because i was pulling a trailer. I was given the pick up truck with the hitch but the tire exploded while on a slope and i had a baby with me. We got stranded for two and a half hours under the really hot sun in a slope with a baby. Then when i returned the truck i explained everything and asked for a refund which i was denied. Instead i was charged extra cost. I requested the contact information of head office to make a formal complaint and i was never provided with that information. Instead i received an email from collection threatening me for 75$ which is absolutely ridiculous. I still wish to make a formal complaint and be provided with a refund. It was a very good experience, renting a 10' truck to help my son move his things. My only critique : Our truck pick up time was 3:30 but we were near the UHaul location at 12:30 so we went to see if we could get the truck earlier. They said no, although the truck we ended up getting was sitting in the same spot as 12:30. We had to drive 45 min to start packing and then at 2:30 had to go back the 45 min to get the truck (through Surrey traffic). Perhaps this could be looked at ? I was 45 minutes late to my booked elevator because I had to wait on call to get myself off of a â€œno rentâ€ list I should have never been on. It turned out to be double the price I was expecting. The requirement on how to read how much fuel you need to replace was not clear at allâ€¦ which ended up charging me an extra $30 on top of the amount of gas I did put in. I was also told I needed to bring my rental back earlier than I had rented it for. I asked for 8hr, on the sheet it said seven, but they wanted it back in six. Which wasn't what I had booked. Not impressed, the rep was also very pushy about this. Overall not a satisfied experience.Travis F.

With regards to the trucks condition, I love the ability to check and photograph the condition of the truck. Though the original photos seemed like it was a different truck and they may have been taken when the truck was new. Since all the vinyls were different and there was considerable damage to mark - mainly small nicks and dents. Parking also became challenging, as it was limited to 8 spots and some street parking.Jason R.

We received a truck that was banged up on both sides and had a screw in one of its tires. We were told to take this vehicle because all their other vehicles were booked for the day. We also asked about the 30 day free storage and were told there were none available. Staff offered to put us on a wait list and suggested coming back in the morning because someone may be moving out of a unit at that time. When my husband went back the next day he was told we DID NOT QUALIFY because we dropped the truck off at the same location as pick up?! We do not understand how this was a factor since no one mentioned this to us at the time of pick up! We would like to put in a complaint for the very poor service we received lacking key information which clearly was pertinent to our request and situation. Please let us know how and where we are able to forward a written dissatisfaction complaint. Alsoâ€¦.we purchased a mattress cover with handles paying over $25 dollars and the handles simply broke/tore the moment the mattress was being lifted! I wanted to say the gal working at the desk on Saturday Aug 21st was so calm and collected. I overheard a man in front of us having issues with his reservation and he got quite upset and rude towards her but the employee did not seem affected by his attitude. Then, unfortunately the mobile pick up wasn't working and my drivers license photos weren't staying uploaded to the uhaul system. Both front desk staff tried to help me. Took awhile but through the entire experience the employee was so level-headed and decently polite. I didn't catch her name, she didn't have a name tag but she definitely deserves a round of applause. I appreciate that she assisted us in such a calm manner during a very anxiety-riden day for us (aka moving day).Sarah B.

Where do I begin? My booked location did not have my rental available. They gave me the $50 and the diverted me to the location the survey is aboutâ€¦not telling me that the $50 removed my Confirmed booking. There were a few tense moments as the new location decided whether or not they had the trailer I needed. It took at least 45 minutes to even talk to a front desk person to actually do the rentalâ€¦one perso working the desk with a line up of customers. My 8 am pick up time became a 9:45 departure. Also the equipment condition message appeared to show pictures for a different trailer than the one I rented. I had to dispute each picture. The trailer did not appear to have been swept out. The young lady was rude. She didn't help. I ended up going home only to have to return the next day. To rent truck I could have rented the day before. So now I have wasted gas to and from Vancouver to move a Friend because your staff isn't knowledgeable about the services that you provide and she was rude and arguementive . She want to fight with me instead of helping me find a solution. The second time I came up there she started the conversation with an additude and I said to her if a nice employee had given me the correct information then I wouldn't be back here again. This is when she quiet. Still horrible customer service and no I wouldn't send anyone back to their locationDAVID H.
