I had two issues with U-HAUL services and rental. Hitch installation and wiring short on the trailer. We blew a fuse 6 times on our commute from Philly to St. Louis. We had to stop multiple times to insert a new fuse to get the lights to work on the trailer.

The truck's battery failed - I had to jump start. In my frustration dealing with the dead battery I accidentally locked the keys in the truck and Uhaul Roadside Assistance wanted to charge me $175 for the lockout. On top of that the windshield wiper blades functioned and looked like they had been installed in the 1970s: it rained yesterday during my rental; thank God it did not snow.

They didn't give me the dollies i paid for they didn't have a truck available at the location where my storage was so we had to drive back and pickup dollies becaue where the storage was they didn't have any dollies so I'm assuming they charge for the miles for that error but other then that the customer service is excellent

The location was 1 hour from where I wanted to pick up from. The route was very difficult to drive. Exiting this location is challanging at best. GPS does not direct you to the entrance. I would avoid this location if renting a trailer. I was told if I asked the drop off location could be changed. This is not ture.

My order included furniture pads and a dolly. I assumed these items would be in my truck. The person that checked me out allowed me to leave without directing me how to get these items. i got to my destination and had to go back to get these items. Need more communication with employees. And have more vehicles in premises. Customer does not need to go to other Uhaul stores to pick up trucks, or trailers. And the workers need to let the customer know when their trucks are going to be late or not in the premises. I would not recommend and one to this facility at all

The U-Haul female employee who did my transaction was able to switch my storage room right away after I saw it had a wall that will made my measurements much smaller then I paid for to new storage room the same size I brought with a complete open space. ¡Gracias!

NO one came out to help me with the truck...waited 20 minutes and got feud up and self checked. Then was charged an additional 68.00 that U need and answer for. That truck was left with more than 3/4 tank of gas for , cleaned out with all equipment returned. What the hell is this extra charge for....this place didn't even come out to help me.

My original reservation was for 8 AM at a different location. That location changed the time of my reservation multiple times then didn't have the equipment available so they sent me 30 mins away to the Ridge Ave location. Super inconvenient and lack of communication from the location made this experience very difficult.

Better customer service. I was told to ho towards the back to puck up a dolly and when i went there was no staff in sight, had to wait a few minutes for a guy and then then a lady showed up instead and qsked me if i needed help putting the dolly in the truck, isnt tgat their job. Also the worse thing was having to drive 30 mibutes to a location for truck pick up only for them to send me to another location that was actually 7mins from where i was in the first place. Why was i not notified by text/email that the location was changed again for the 2nd time, it caused a lots inconveniences. And originally i had reserved online for a furniture dolly when i arrived there was only box utility available. Not hapoy at all. I am going to call customer service for compensation fot all this aggravation i went throughout and inconveniences.

Better customer service from the assistant manager. Also rent out pickup truck that have a hitch that you can actually hookup the bar to. Instead i had to waste two hours trying to hook up my own and also come out of my pocket to buy my own. Only to find out that it was something wrong with the truck hitch itself. Terrible experience. The place isn't in the best area of 'Philly by any stretch, but the gal running the check in counter was awesome-pleasant, knows her business, got you on the road in no time at all, you can park your car in their (safe, fenced in) lot during your rental, and the return was easy. They know what they're doing, clean vehicles and building, quick and efficient.

I placed a reservation for a 5x5x5 locker upon my arrival was notified that they did not have it and I was not is their system.I on other hand had a print out of said reservation.The woman a the counter seemed unbothered that this was of inconvenience to my schedule never even trying to assist in resolving the problem with uhaul system.just to say you can try another site.With that being said I would prefer to not you that particular site or recommendations to anyone I associate with.

I rated the Van clean, however, there was something on the floor of the Van when I got it. The driver's side of the van had dents in it where someone prior to me using the van had some kind of accident. Overall I was able to get the job done. The employees are amazing and very understanding here. I would use this place again and again.

Two of the Uhal Employees there Samir and Atil were very Knowledgeable , courteous and patient. They were both very helpful in Renting a Truck and Renting a Storage Space. These 2 Employees should be commended for their Servicrs. The facility became busy and thec2 of these young men tackled it with ease. I can be reached for more comments if needed. Employees did not show how the key card works nor did they walk me to my unit. I noticed this after they seeing how management treated a different client. Employees Harrassed my staff(movers) first and then myself, And tried to make me pay a dumpster fee without a visible sign on or around dumpster. Altercation almost turned physical, because Management has a hard time communicating. Management has power issues and kept referring to the Uhual establishment as his own and he can do what he wants. Because of that, the employees are unprofessional and Management cant see it.
