Excellent service
Lawrence SFast and efficient form the online start to the printing of the receipt at the end. We are all built for speed and this was a business rental for a furniture drop off, so I needed it to be seamless and it was. Definitely would recommend.

Kevin RI selected this storage facility because of one mont free by a person who referred me. Only I got there and had to come up with $300 unexpectedly. I was told to call ahead of time if moving out. I did not have that option as there was a lot going on with the approval of my new apartment and I didn't get the keys until after seven the day before the move. I keep getting messages that my rent is past due. I moved out of the storage on the day the rent would have been due.
Elizabeth B | Overall ExperienceI made a reservation, and ran into a situation where as the person I was to have drive, I guess had an outstanding balance. Theeefore he couldn’t drive. And they weren’t helpful.. instead of telling me how it could be fixed..ie, cancel existing reservation and make a new one.. which is what did happen. They were telling me to go on the app and do it .. and I had to demand that they do it!!! And I was charged $40 more for the new reservation. I questioned it and stated I would contact corporate.. she then told me I’d get her as this was her store.. And then said to me: “you should be saying thank you for fixing the issue. Are u kidding me?? This is not how people should be running the show.. They wanted me to do all the work to make changes on my phone instead of just doing it themselves and says I should thank her!! Wow wow wow. Will never use that site again and I would steer anyone away from it. Customer service training is needed there.
Kathleen nAdrian was terrific. His knowledge and expertise was great. He placed the hitch wires inside the car under the floor with the spare tire. That way it is never in the snow or rain. Brilliant idea I never thought was possible. Very pleased!

MARIUSZ PThe after hours drop off process needs work. The process asks for things that can't be found in the app. I had to call someone in customer service to return my truck on time so that I would not incur additional charges. Thank goodness the rep was able to help. We spent almost 20 mins trying to figure out the online process to no avail. There was also another couple trying to figure it out as well. They too wound up calling customer service.
calivin IIt did take me 45 minutes to check out on the app. I was freezing outside trying to figure it out but finally was able to contact someone that helped guide me through the process.
Jacqueline CPlease fix your app; it is horrible. Asked to scan a bar code, which was not the right shape, rectangular,, but the screen to scan it is a square, so the app wouldn’t work. Navigation on the app is a nightmare. The app says to navigate to “Manage my order,” but this is very tough to find. I had to call the 800 number to return the rental, which took time I didn’t have. Very stressful

Charlene RFirst truck was broke it had transmission issues. The store was rude when I stated that the truck might need to be service for transmission and put me on a smaller trucker that I had to make more trips as the truck was not the correct size. The second truck was great mechanically but much smaller than what I need so I ended up have to do an extra trip which costed me more. When returning the truck they charged me for 2 Dollie’s when I only had one the whole time and 2 was never asked for. Overall negative experience with this uhal location. Next time I would use a different location

I had to call uhaul's general line to get help with the Stoughton staff, at which point they were suddenly able to resolve my issues same day. I was given incorrect information regarding hours and moveout procedure by Stoughton over the phone.

Kelly KI was charged twice for the rental truck. Also, got gas service fee which is incorrect. I returned the truck with a a quarter tank and receipt said it was an eighth left. I have the pictures and they were uploaded. I didn't really expect this type of service from uhaul.

STEPHEN HThe truck we rented had a strong smell of marijuana in the cab. It grew progressively worse as we drove. I called customer service after returning the truck because the manager wasn’t in. They called her and she put the blame on me for not returning the vehicle or calling immediately. I couldn’t not return as I was on a tight timeline for the day and that would have delayed me. The smell was obvious especially the more time you spent in the truck. Shame on UHaul for allowing this truck to be rented. Shame on UHaul for a manager that blames the customer. I’ve rented several times from UHaul and it’s usually a pleasant experience but this was not. I am not happy that I had to spend time in a truck that reaked of marijuana. I am not happy that in my case the customer has the onus to fix the problem. Shame on UHaul.

This information should be in the emails about how to check in. Also, google maps said that access lasted until 10pm so I drove out later in the evening only to find out it had closed earlier. I would probably have chosen a facility with longer access hours if I had known that google maps was inaccurate.

I had two objects I couldn’t load on my Penske truck. Time was not on my side I had to move fast by my self the storage closes at 7pm. Now I had to wait a hr and a half for a lock smith. That’s why in my survey I was no to access hrs. The manager and I got along good. My thinking is I was going to rent a truck from uhaul but I canceled and chose Penske who had a better fleet to me. Now I owe all this money for two junk pieces of furniture. I guarantee you they did not keep in the storage area waiting on me to pick up. Mind you I’m in Texas asking the manager if I could pay someone to move the junk 2 pieces. I hope to end this matter without all these fines. Leo Thomas

Sherrie, the manager at the Stoughton, MA facility, is always very helpful and always very professional. The rest of the staff there are also. The only complaint I have with U-Haul is the continued annual rise in unit cost. But that is a corporate decision and has nothing to do with my local experience.

Michael P | First Impressionsyou cant nickel and dime and if a customer wonts do throw trash away they should be able to and with renting a truck I will be joining the class action lawsuit against your company for the way they determine gas in the vehicle it is unfair to a person who is renting a vehicle to make a gas gauge move in a vase truck it takes a minimum of $10 of gas with a needle to move at all and driving 11. Miles does not use a quarter take a gas
