I appreciate the accommodations made by this facility. The clerks were always efficient and friendly! I relocated to the area almost two years with EVERYTHING I've ever owned! When times became financially difficult for me, specifically due to COVID and lack of employment, the UHaul Stone Mountain facility kept me abreast of my liabilities well prior to being evicted! Then, they gave me an opportunity to retrieve my items without heavy fees! I WILL ALWAYS be thankful to this company because of their compassion!

The overall experience was horrible. The location at 1290 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lawrenceville Georgia, attempted what could only be described as theft. We had a contract confirmation where we had reserved a 15' truck for the price of $289.00. The night before we got a call saying we had to pick it up at the Pleasant Hill location. This was understandable. However, when we arrived, (after a 30 minute wait) we were told the truck would be over $200 more. The explanation was the difference in the two pickup locations, which is only a few miles. We showed them our printed confirmation, but that was not honored. We were told that we could call 1-800-uhaul and see if anyone there would honor it. After 30 minutes on hold we were cut off. At this time Jamie contacted "Vicky in traffic" at U-Haul Corporate who advised that the price would be honored. By this time the truck we had reserved had been rented to another customer. We were told we had to drive to this location at Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain to pick up a truck. This whole process took over 3 hours, and again, the Pleasant Hill Rd. location tried to steal over $200 from us, and would not honor our contract.

As much as my husband and I rent Uhaul's we except better service! We have both decided to not rent Uhual's anymore because the service and conditions of the trucks are absolutely nasty!! Uhaul just lost a very loyal customer!

Answer the phones in a more timely manner. I was holding on the phone for longer than an hour to speak to a representative. If we can accomplish more on the phones, it will avoid longer waiting lines in your stores.

I had a problem with the online return site. When I got to the question about sharing my location I ran into an error and could not proceed. It kept telling me location services on my phone were not on but they were and I could never get past that point. There needs to be some way on the site to get past that even if there is an issue. Very frustrating! Also, the lock for the back door of the truck didn't work so I just wrapped it around the latch to make it look like the lock was engaged.

Slow pickup process through the app. App is slow and I had to refresh multiple times during the process. Approving process is unnecessary and takes too long for someone to respond. Consider how much you charge the customer, it's better to add some high tech to monitor these trucks instead of letting customers doing everything manually

by far this is the WORST uhaul location I have been to. Manager Jorris is a rude, non-sympathetic, robotic individual who is NOT a good representation of the company as a whole. I have rented over 30 times in the last 2 years with my business and this manager and location are the absolute worst. Even the lot it sits on is the most dangerous of any location I have been to, no where to park or even turn around. Equipment unorganized, just an insurance claim waiting to happen. I will drive out of my way to go to another location when I rent. Highly disappointed.

None of the employees were wearing face masks. I wore mine and kept my distance as much as possible, as did other customers in the store. I feel the employees should at least put them on when face to face customers. That prevents them from getting anyone sick. By wearing my mask, I protected them.

For being at that location on a Saturday hand to have is many people requesting the use of equipment my only suggestion is to have more people at the counter. The young man who was there by his South up until 9 o'clock was extremely courteous and doing the best that he could which was great. The equipment was well managed and the service provider outside was extremely polite. I would use this company again if needed thank you.

None of the staff wore masks. They weren't friendly. U-haul from a financial side, it felt like they kept charging me for everything. I couldn't even borrow a dolly. Couldn't even rent one! I was told I was getting some money back but was charged an extra $100. I'm not sure how be able to pay for the first months rent for the apartment where I'm trying to move.

It was not the specific location as much as it is U-Haul as a whole. I had a reservation from a week ago for 8am this morning, I checked in on my phone, the app asked me to confirm the truck number which I did, then when it came time to get the keys and leave, i have the attendant my reservation number, he asked for proof of truck number before I could get the key. I could not find the truck number listed anywhere! On my receipt, the app, the profile, email - nothing. I hopped in line and there was one guy working the counter and about 15 people in line and each person took about 10 min. I called U-Haul and waited 35 minutes, never got through. I waited for over an hour. All I needed was my truck number so I could get the keys and leave but instead I had to waste 1.5hrs standing in line when I could have been well on my way. Thanks for making my moving experience more stressful than it had to be.

I have not rented a truck in years but I wasn't clear on why you needed to call someone to be my reference when I was paying with a credit card. Anyway I'm glad I rented the pickup for what I needed it was perfect. The truck was fine but there was an issue with the seatbelt latch.
