We rent on a regular basis and the last couple rentals we have gotten have had tire issues and the truck we rented this past time started making a bad high pitched noise on the right side back tire like brake pads in a regular vehicle. I called store as I always do when we have mechanical issues and was told if we break down call roadside service and just drive till we have a severe problem.?? We are a woman owned business and find it not good practice to be broken down on the road. Last time we had a tire issue in the middle of our rental we were told the same thing insisted someone come look and change tire as we still had one more day of our rental and the tire kept losing air and kept showing low pressure. The first roadside did not come after 3 hrs of waiting and 2nd was great when they arrived but took 4 hrs to get to us mostly because of the help line on your end. I sent feedback about that transaction and dealing with your help line in Texas I believe. Which was rude and not helpful as all. One other thing the new policy of attaching a hand cart and moving blankets is a horrible idea it is right at the back door where it is in the way for loading, takes up valuable space especially for any long items you are moving, and the paddle lock chained to the pull-down door is dangerous as it gets wrapped around fingers and gets in the way of door shutting. If I want a handcart or moving blankets, I will order ahead. Please do not take up room in the truck. I am renting the vehicle based on its size and the space in the back.

While driving the 10' truck I heard a clucking noise and I found out it was the parking light assembly hanging by the light wire and the assembly was hitting the truck. Try to snap the light assembly back in but did not stay. Reported it to the store I rented the truck from.

I stayed within the parameters of my estimate and got charged 10 more dollars. Went 2 miles less than anticipated, put gas in the truck and they added 10 dollars. They could not explain the difference. I started to freeze my card until it got resolved.

The raising band at the van that I had rented was roach infested and I constantly had to stop and spray to exterminate the roaches that was traveling throughout the van and calling throughout the van while operating the van it was just quite an unpleasant experience but overall customer service was excellent

We use this location frequently and the manager is excellent but understaffed so it causes long waits and mistakes. He always fixes things, but it is frustrating when you are trying to get in and out. I do not understand if we reserve online and enter all the information before rental that the staff still has to ask and fillout the same info that we added in the preregistration. Why do we have to do it twice what is the benefit of pre-registration. When we arrived for the pickup, our truck was not available and there were 4 other customers with the same problem. Once customer had gone to 3 uhauls as his preregistered truck was not available at the original pickup place to get a big truck and he said he pre-registered 2 weeks in advance. There is a problem with your system and has been a problem for a year or more. The staff at this location said she was transferred from a Florida UHAUL and she said it happens all the time and is a problem with corporate in Arizonia. Not what you want to hear when your truck is not available, and you need it and need to get in and out. Thank goodness for the manager of this store who is over worked, understaffed and came to our rescue.

Horrible customer service, 45 min wait times to speak to customer service. Always transferred to someone else. No one knows whats going on. I was charged $115 for gas when I brought the truck back with more gas. I had to drive 45 min to the store to get this corrected. Horrible Horrible Horrible experience from start to finish.

Prices do not concur with what the associate presents to the customer, the staff is not trained properly with handling MINOR customer related issues the manager at this facility Mr Alford is not concerned with bridging the Gap to solve customer complaints. The staff is only as good as the manager above them if your manager shows no concern or initiative then why should your staff

U-Haul reserved this unit for me over the phone. I arrived to move-in and the unit was occupied. They didn't have any more units or any units close by. I was refunded my money but had to find a storage unit and add more miles to the uhaul truck I was driving. It was disappointing and an inconvenience. And cost me more money

My issues: Traffic never called me about my truck reservation and truck pickup location before 6pm prior to my next day 10am pickup. I called them instead, stayed on hold for 30 min., kept calling until 5:45pm until I got someone. Took them a while to find my reservation. They told me the truck was to be picked up in a location different from what was on my online reservation file. When we picked up the truck, it was in poor condition. Problems with loose steering, bad transmission, oil dripping & smoking. Good: brakes & was clean. At drop-off location Rep claimed we drove 5000 miles & backed off when we disputed...then he noticed he was looking at the wrong truck on his phone. Advised him of truck mechanical problems ( thank goodness we only drove it less than 60 miles) but the Rep seemed unconcerned & just said OK. U-Haul needs to improve the online & phone assistance to support the customer experience...we should not have to hound them to verify our reservation & tell us where to find the truck. Plus better maintenance needs to be performed on the trucks...that truck could have easily broken down or caused an accident with its steering. The truck only had 30K in miles on it but poorly maintained. I have had better experiences with U-Haul in the past. I have no complaints about the storage facility experience. Just the truck rental.

I plan on having 24hr access and will need additional insurance. I Will park my vechiles there. In the past a controversy arose and police involvement was necessary. Excellent customer service very friendly and hands-on staff they helped me every step of the way. They have storage units and rental vehicles all at the same location so it was a convenient for me. I appreciate the accommodations made by this facility. The clerks were always efficient and friendly! I relocated to the area almost two years with EVERYTHING I've ever owned! When times became financially difficult for me, specifically due to COVID and lack of employment, the UHaul Stone Mountain facility kept me abreast of my liabilities well prior to being evicted! Then, they gave me an opportunity to retrieve my items without heavy fees! I WILL ALWAYS be thankful to this company because of their compassion!
