We were unfairly charged for extra mileage because of the incompetence of the staff of the original drop off location. The clerk could not figure out how to check the truck in so we were asked go to another location. Once we found it, we were told to pay an additional fee for mileage!

(what I experienced at two other locations before settling on this one) if you all don't have trucks available, PLEASE SHOW THAT ON THE WEBSITE AND KEEP YOUR INVENTORY UPDATED. I was switched online to a second store and was told at the second store that they didn't have any more available trucks so I had to go to a third store. It was VERY frustrating - I burst into tears because I couldn't get an answer from anyone. Get your sh*t together, Uhaul.

I arrived at 7 a.m. in the morning or rather a few minutes before opening. The person opening the business that morning, I'm afraid I do not recall her name was business as usual, but without any pleasantries of greetings. My first thought was this person that would rather be someplace else. That's what she radiated. Then when it opened at 7 and I approached the counter,I noticed her ID tag read "owner", which was surprising. The story gets longer and I don't really have time to to convey it. But I let her know that her lackluster service attitude needed at a significant adjustment. It seems that many people of a certain generation are missing the importance of or skill set of communicating with people, especially customers and letting them know that they are grateful to have their business ... as opposed to damn if you do damn if you don't attitude.

My issue isn't so much the location but with the process. I haven't rented a uhaul in 8 years possibly longer but process now borderlines on being ludicrous. I elected to take your insurance just for piece of mind but then had to do an unnecessarily complicated app thing were i had to document every ding, scratch, ding, etc. for an hour rental! I rent from enterprise all the time & their system is much quicker & simplistic. I can't believe u haul has become so anal on vehicles by their very nature are gonna get minor scratches & scuffs on. That process makes me weary to utilize your company again.

I was told it was $19.99 a day .79 a mile. Then I was told the rental would be for 4 hours. Which is not a day. After I called back to say I was stuck in traffic and might go past 4 hours I was told that would be a extra $37. After going back & forth I was told they would give me extra hour without the $37 charge. I Will "never" rent from Uhaul again. Paid $131 for 4 hours. It seem like a rip off and a way to make scam extra money. I will hire movers or rent from someone else. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and mis-leading. My son said the same thing happened to him..

I was hesitant because of past experiences years ago, but the service exceeded my expectations and they have the truck I needed in stock. What was listed on the website was what was on the lot, so I can highly recommend this location. I will use them again!

Just a bit of explaining to the customers regarding how to operate the vehicle. Cargo van has different way to release handbrake. So orientation will ease the process.

I’ve rented from other locations and have never had an experience like this. The truck was not fueled. The service counter employee told me during check in that it was low on fuel and offered me an “incentive” or credit towards my rental fee to fuel it. While I was inspecting the truck, I discovered it was less than an eighth of a tank . The cab also wasn’t clean and there were noticeable marks and scratches on the truck that very easily could’ve been charged to me had I not done an inspection. Which leads me to believe that follow up inspections are not being performed after each rental. I will avoid using this location again.

We were the only customer at the location and one sales person was on the phone with a customer and two other employees kept walking around in and outside without speaking to us. We had to wait about 15 min for the sales person to finish...who by the way was very helpful. But did not understand the other two ignoring us. They could have even addressed us to say that the other person would be with us but instead they ignored us. The girl even went out to the garage area and just stood there as we watched her on the security camera doing nothing. We rent from this location all the time Alford is very courteous and helpful but the rest of the employees are just rude and unhelpful.

Associates were slow but kind. Three of them also lacked a superior level of professionalism. I was charged for fuel when I'd refuled the tank before returning the vehicle. I'd only spent $42.00 for the entire rental, but $100.00 is held in reserve. My card was charged $100.00 and now I've got to wait three to five business days for my change back. I feel the change should be returned immediately. Finally one minute before 5:00pm the door was closed and locked in my face. I was left feeling like my business was more a burden, and less appreciated. I'm appalled that only two out of five associates showed ANY professionalism at all. I'm truly hoping to avoid needing this type of service in the future. Thank you.

The young lady who helped me maintained her cool as I was a little frustrated at having to provide my information twice. I rented a van and needed storage. I made reservations for both 1 week in advance. I provided the necessary information to get the Uhal. When I came back to put my things in storage. I had to provide my inforamation again, plus give a name and address of a contact person. I don't readily have a person address with me. To get to the storage, you have to leave out the parking lot, go down the street and make a u-turn. Such an inconveniene, especially when you have a gate in your parking lot. Lastly, my storage was located by the gate. We started unloading but another truck needed to get through, so we had to stop and move our truck. I waisted over an hour. Purchase more land so there is enough room for trucks to come in and out.

I called for an extension and granted by chat line. I was told as long as back by 10:30 no charges. When I got there told had a credit of 25 bucks since not over on mileage. Got to the desk and charged 23 bucks late fee. No one communicates within Company. Not only didn’t get 25 bucks but owe 23. This is a big thank you for saying couldn’t make 7:30 turn in. I got there at 9:30 am hour earlier than my grace period of 10:30. Did I mention waited 25 min to turn in truck which was another way to get screwed once again. Will not return again.

The reason I gave this location a poor rating is because I was there at 10 minutes till seven the sign said that they open up at seven and no one showed up till 730 . One of the main reasons we chose this location is because it said it opened up at seven we actually pass for other locations but they didn’t open up until 10. But I will say this after the person got there at 7:30 he was very professional very thorough and it was a good experience.

I stored my things for two and one half years at this location. I was kept informed of when my payments were due. Everyone I interacted with was kind and knowledgable about there job. would use again.
