Vehicle was filthy on the outside. Windows inside and out were so dirty, I had to stop within two mikes to try and clean. The AC would not cool and I was moving live plants throughout the day. I did the ore-checkin with credit card number and license. After waiting in line for 15minutes the employees had to renter every bit of information and the phone in my credit card information to her approval. The entire process took over 45 minutes. Very dissatisfied customer. Bad vehicles with 140k miles and bad customer service. I should refunded the entire amount!!!DAN O.
Very satisfied customer, there was a problem with the u haul system and i wasn't able to get my card to get in to my unit after 5, i was able to get a hold of the manager after hours and ricki was very helpful to the situation and my needs as i had to be at work the next morning at 5am and she extended the time on the trailer for me to come in when i got off work. Truck sounded like it had engine problems, wait to pick up truck was 30 min even though I never checked in online, instructions provided by employee for after hours drop off not clear or correct, automated drop off after hours from phone was a pain and slow, manager didn't answer when I called the number on the door after having problems during drop off, didn't receive final bill, I had to contact UHaul, which was a pain, tried to speak to a rep when I first went to book the truck, was out on hold all 3 times and eventually had to hang up bc of wait times, not once with everything have I been able to speak to a live person except when I picked up the truck...very poor customer service all aroundMatthew C.

Great management at this location! The entire team works well together to 100% satisfy the customer! Moving in itself, is a huge stressful undertaking...but dealing with professional people like at this location helps minimize the stress. Actually this was my third trip to Whitney road. First two times were outstanding. Quick and professional service. Today only one person was on duty with a line of customers waiting. He told me and the fellow behind me to leave truck and he would email bill - trying to save my time which I appreciated.. When he did send the bill I was charged extra $54 for excess mileage. This was the third time I made EXACTLY the same trip with no extra mileage charge the first two times. Maybe I got off lucky before. I don't know. But looking at the math it seemed like I was within the allowable mirageof 418.David C.

Miserable experience. Did not need for return visit and took trailer to nearby location in Atlanta. Man there said no problem. I will check you in. Called your national number the next day to make sure it was completed and finished but nothing was in the system. They said it happens and would contact the location and ask them to confirm with a call. Never heard back. Called again that night. Man then told me oh no you can't leave it there and would need to go back amd get it and return to Spartanburg. He could not quote me any price of what would be the charges if I left it there. So though 2 different people said it was ok he said they were wrong. Called the next moe ing and the nice lady in Hickory NC said it was not a problem and because I had already paid more than a one way trip there would be no additional charge. Now I get this email and you have charged me another $48. ??? No one has been consistent or made this easy. Horrible experience and a huge waste of my time.HENRY S.

Offer them from time of pick up a full 24 hrs...And me mindful that if you don't and something comes up and they need a little more time that would not exceed the 24 hrs., waiver of fee for extra time... Customer Service with whom I was redirected to allowed the time i needed with no fee... And the Truck was not on standby waiting on another Customer... I turned it in at 1:00 p.m. and the Service Reps at that location called me at 3:00 p.m. asking when was I going to bring the truck back... I told him I was there to return truck (it was busy) and he told me to leave it with key inside... I parked in behind another returned truck in the return area and they still didn't know it was there... I think you should have more employees working on days that are your busiest... The U Haul experience was soured by an issue with the roadside assistance, and a partner towing company. While U-Haul gave pretty good customer service, the partner company was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They delayed a tow on our truck for 3 hours after we had reached out to U-Haul customer service, causing us to be late and get charged another day for the rental. I will absolutely be using a competitor next time.Carrie G.

Made a reservation on December 22nd for a 20' truck, an appliance dolly, and a regular dolly. When I came into pick up my reservation I was told that the last appliance dolly was given to a lady in front of me whose reservation was two weeks prior to 1/30/21. Well I made mine on December 22nd and also had called to confirm everything. Staff was very unfriendly and no help at all. What's the point in making reservations if the company doesn't prioritize them accordingly? Personally next time I have to move I will go with either a different company or a different store. Employees were rude, not sympathetic, and offered no alternatives did not discount me for their mistake.Hollie N.

This was the cleanest storage facility I have ever used. The staff was cleaning the outside and removing leaves to keep them from blowing inside the building. Very secure and convenient.
