Guy at the counter was quick and efficient…and the guy who walked out and hooked up trailer also helpful

CHARLES MThe staff was friendly and helpful, but I've never rented a moving truck in worst condition. The back of the truck was so dirty, that if my furniture wasn't wrapped, I would of been afraid to put in there.

RICKY DThe original rental location was on Blackstock Rd. Evidently the staff there was sick on the morning of pickup. We were referred to the Whitney Rd location and they were helpful, the truck was ready and clean. Easy!!
JOHN AJacob was extremely helpful, since I set my reservation almost 2 weeks ahead of time. I reserved a 15' truck with a car carrier. Three days be for my move, there is no 15' truck available but a 20' truck, but no car carrier. When I picked up the truck, all they had was a 26' truck & NO CAR CARRIER. I WAS PROMISED THE CAR CARRIER WOULD BE THERE!!!! I couldn't drive a car & a truck at the same time. I had to hire someone to drive my car. This was a horrible experience. I don't think I'll ever use U-Haul again. There's got to be something better than U-Haul!!!
Edith MLocation was not supplied with equipment, ie handtrucks, and had me drive to the other location completely across town to get the additional equipment I paid for 2+ weeks in advance.

KENNETH HWhen I dropped the truck off the guy that was at the front desk told me that I didn’t owe anything and told me I could go once I turned in the key, I asked him again did I owe anything and that time I recorded him saying that I didn’t and then a couple days later I get a text saying that I have a balance and that I signed a promissory note, something that I didn’t know anything about.
ROBENA BDidn't take a storage unit. Ended out that after checking a few of them, they didn't have an outside unit that I prefer!
MANLEY M | First ImpressionsWait time was 45min to an hour with reservation. Need more workers during peak times not one person doing everything for everyone. Associate was great! Great customer service. Associate did the best he could under ther circumstances. My time is very precious and I only had a certain time frame to move my stuff.

RANDY AMy storage lock has been cut off and a new one has been put on all my clothes and shoes was gone. A lot of my kids things I had a car set of speakers size 12 missing. I had a lot of stuff missing out my storage and no one has supposed to be in it, it was not even time to be to be even for someone to even be in it

NICOLE JI rent from this location frequently, it seems like every time I come in there are new employees still learning what to do. This causes delays and gets other customers upset while standing in line to complete a rental. It appears that the higher level management at this location are not aware of how poorly the crew at this location operate.

CECILA BI felt that the team is committed to customer service. They were ready for me when I arrived, and my rental was in order. They had me in my truck and on the road quickly. The equipment was clean. I would say that they equipment could be updated as it was missing some technology. The truck I rented is not equipped with a USB or a USB mini to connect and charge a phone. There was no bluetooth connectivity either. While not essential, this is mature technology that I would have expected on this truck. I recently rented a u-haul from a Greenville, SC location that had a charging connection. Additionally, the TPMS light on this truck remained on at all times. I was told that the tire had been repaired and to ignore the TPMS. All went fine, but the TPMS system was not functioning.

John WTruck had alignment issues and pulled hard to the right, and bad brakes, i almost brought it back but went through with my move but i think this particular truck needs some attention before someone gets hurt! it was all over the road. fortunately, i had an in town move and i didn't need to drive long distance or i would have had to bring this truck back it's just not feasible for long distance it can hardly make a 45 minute commute. not to mention, i shouldn't have trusted the staff here and i should have double checked the back of the trailer was secure. the door came open and the ramp came out of the back while i was going down the road! other cars had to honk at me and tell me it came open. I don't think that's the most professional experience I've had renting a U-Haul and I've done this a good handful of times at this point.

BECKY BI did mobile pick up for the truck rental. The truck I was originally given was being worked on. Therefore I was given a different truck. I didn't get to record mileage and was charged more miles than I used.

STEFFON JBe sure your manager is doing their job to help at high volume times. Many people there and she sat in her office not helping causing a very slow process. Only saw 3 total people at the place. Won't use this location in future.

Tracy Si would like to say that in the end the experience was better than expected, that was due to a call to customer service and speaking to Adele. Some of the complaint is not on the person who was helping however, on the situation that the person was put in. The computers at the shop had gone down and they were unable to check in trucks which delayed the process especially since we had registered for the 24/7 and could not get a truck. We did not get to leave the place until closer to 10, so we were in fear that we would be late in returning the truck, this is when I called customer service and Adele helped us out. Please help the people at this location get the computers to run properly and this location will do better.

KENNETH PUpdate hours online. When I went to pick up the equipment the hours listed online said they were closed but they weren't. Have more people available to help. There were a lot of people that had to wait a while for service.

When we went to move it out we discovered mice had gotten into the unit and left droppings all over the mattresses and box springs. We ended up having to throw out two twin mattresses and two box springs. We had to take them and find a place as we were not even allowed to throw them out in the dumpster at the facility or we would be fined. I was given the manager's number and I text her but she never bothered to respond to my text. Poor customer service!

Once I realized it was broken into she was so nasty towards me with looking through the video. She stayed the video only went back 1 month and was not willing to look through it. She continuously denied that it was my unit being broken into even though I watched them take my items out of the unit. She asked when the last time I visited my unit and when told she then made the remark "who doesn't go to their storage in 2 months?" . I use U-Haul everytime I need to move, but with the service I was provided I'll make sure that none of my friends or family ever use it again. I'm still waiting on a claims adjuster to contact me.

The assistant manager was nice and stated to never have this happen before and gave me the insurance company information. Hopefully they can compensate for this issue.

Malinda (I believe is her name) helped clear that up after speaking with 1800 customer service who couldn't even figure it out and I never got a call back from a store manager. Second unit was outside, my things were covered in rat poop and roaches dead and alive literally had to bomb my new place to kill everything. Prices could definitely be cheaper due to critters. This location is literally always 100% busy with very little staff. Josh ( or maybe Justin is his name ) was always helpful anytime I needed anything. Facility definitely needs to be deep cleaned and pest controlled asap.

Very secure and convenient. The staff was so helpful when we dropped off our belongings and even told me to call to switch the drop off to their location. Best experience with a move and storage.
