I made the arrangements for your storage unit at the same time i reserved a u haul rental truck. I was told at that time that the unit was on the first floor and the cost was $109.95 a month. When i went to the storage facility i was told the unit was not on the first floor and the cost for a unit was $129.95 a month for a unit on the first floor. I showed the gentleman my paperwork stating the quoted cost and explained i cannot do the stairs at my age and since there is no elevator i have to use a first floor unit. He told me the person i spoke with does not know this facility and does not know what are first floor units. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the manager was not there. I asked him to write down the name of the manager so i could call to get the pricing resolved. He did not do this. I am also unhappy that the first floor unit is smaller than the other one due to the ceiling height. The other issue is the lack of lighting in the unit. It is very difficult to see to move or find items. I would like to be called about these issues.

The location doesn't open up on time most of the time we've had to wait as long as 30-mins for someone to get there and open it up. The trucks are out of gas and are not cleaned out!!!!

The manager lied to me. I reserved an appliance cart however at check in told me they had none. While hooking up the trailer I noticed 2 carts on the fenced area. Thanks to the rep that was helping me I was able to get one. Wow! What a character flaw!

Staff was distracted and not helpful. I went to Jasper, IN to pick up items. The trip down was fine, but for whatever the reason, for the trip back the windshield wipers did not work (fortunately all the rain occurred on the way down), the turn signal did not work (creating a safety hazard) and the air conditioning did not work. The cab was sweltering for the 3 1/2 hour drive home - very uncomfortable and I could not signal for lane changes. Very unsatisfactory, particularly when I spend a lot of money on mileage for a piece of equipment that was sub-par. When I reported this to the staff upon the return of the vehicle, they were not concerned or sympathetic.

Truck wasn't clear and I paid for a appliance dolly and me and 2 others people had orders for.... So I went and spent $100 to get my own dolly to move my appliances... SMH... the clerk just took the $10 off my bill for not having the dolly... But I had to go and drive out my way to go and buy the dolly...($100) No discount no nothing

Scheduled a hitch installation appointment on Sunday and came in just for them to tell me they don't do that on Sundays and to come in Monday at 8, saying the hitch guy came in at 7. I came in at 8 and the man who was supposed to install my hitch didn't come in until 11. Then what should have been an estimated 1.5 hour installation took 3 hours. I was at the site for 7 hours. I paid for the installation up front and they charged me an extra $63 after I left. The GM gave me his number but when I tried to contact him and was unable to leave a voicemail because his mailbox was full. I will NEVER use Uhaul to move again and will be telling others who speak to me about moving to not use them.

Customer service was poor. The dolly I requested was not in the truck and we had to go back for it. Sat on hold for over 30 mins when we called about the dolly. When in the store the guy was focused on everything else so it took 45?minutes to get the keys.

The truck they gave me was wedged in-between several other trucks. It took forever for them to get it out. At 1st the lot attendant didn't help me, he just pointed and said it's that row. Then he did come over and move it. Which was very nice. Should just see what truck is first in line and assign it. It would have been nice if the office person had told me where to go. Not a terrible experience, but you already made me drive 8 miles farther than I wanted to get the truck, then the service was disappointing

The staff outside was very disrespectful and rude when I was told to ask him to get the blankets and dolly. He stated that the ppl inside were idiots and had “no fucking clue what they r doing” which I was very upset about the language the man inside did come out and help me but the equipment I reserved they did not have. Then when got into the truck I took pictures it was filthy with cigarette ashes all over the floor and cup holder I can supply those pictures. I returned before the store closed and was told that they had my debit card and he with45 mins till closing did not have the time to get me checked out so I knew how much I was going to be charged. I wanted to make sure that the dolly I was charged for that they didn't have was not charged to my card. So I found the experience I had was very disappointing! I have rented from uhaul many times and never had been treated so bad. My mom had passed away on Tuesday and I had to get her apartment cleaned out so all the stress I was dealing with then to be treated the way I was just made things worse. Idk if this will change anything by writing this review for ure company but needed someone to listen and hear me when I called today I got hung up on 3 times and never found out how much my barge was going to be or if they fixed the dolly issue on my card and when I told them the truck was nasty filthy is when I was hung up onpls feel free to call 317-832-0691 Johnna cornett is my name thank u

I don't know if it was U-Haul corporate or this local drop off location, but I called early in the morning to tell them we were running a little behind unloading the truck, and needed an extra hour. They told me no problem and nonworries, as long as it was in by noon, for the next person who had it reaerved. I turned it in at 10:30am, and when I received my receipt by email, they had charged me for an extra day, over an hour past the scheduled return. (When they already said by noon.) I'm a little put out with them right now.

Horrible almost EVERYTHING! The fact i had to come back to fix a problem that should have been resolved the same day as it happened just by following the order of return but instead it caused a whole mess and a half and multiple trips and even more reversed payments and staff being embarrassing loud and over talking me when I was explaining things to my grandmother. But honestly If I hadn't kept my multiple original copies of the transactions I would most likely still be told the wrong information about the reversed transactions and made to think that I need to pay because I didn't pay for anything because I'm getting first months rent free when infact I had proof to prove them wrong and not end up getting overcharged. It is infallible to think that employees and even employers would tolerate such an act of unproffessionablism towards the customers.

I reserved a Ubox and they did not jave one but failed to let me know in advance even after the fact that they had a note put in 2 days earlier that the customer should be notified since there was no uBox available. I drove with all my stiff for loading to the location to find that u box is not available. I was flying out the next day and hence had no alternatives . For now i put it in the uBox at their facility. But will need people to move it from storage to U-box.

I had a 1.5 hour wait in line for an appointment made 1 month ago. Unfortunately I didn't get everything I paid for and will be calling back on Monday to get the rest of my hitch. The manager was very nice and explained to me about the warranty when the counter guy sat there. No idea why the line was so long and no extra help was available. Lots of unhappy people in this store todsy

Extremely poor customer service. Waited in line 45 min to pick up a 4 hr rental, then waited again to drop it off. Outdoor attendants (4) were standing around talking, no one came to check me in. My inclosed trailer I rented had feces in the back corner of the trailer. This made it incredibly hard to move with the odor. Filling a complaint about this matter with U-haul was nearly impossible. After speaking with the manager at the U-haul location upon return. It was clear he didn't care and made up a reason to why the trailer was still rented to me

Truth be told I've experienced this in the past I went to this U-Haul facility they greeted me before I even got out of my vehicle walk me in took me right in to the counter and rented me something that usually they they keep for one way instead of Turning Me Away took care of me right away within 25 30 minutes I was out the door sitting in my truck with the trailer that I wanted if anybody needs anything to rent on E Street U-Haul on East Street would be the one to go to because it's the best one I've ever been to I'm 54 years old I've rented a lot of trailers and trucks from different U-Haul facilities is the reception that I got the way the people are they were positive energetic and on their toes I would highly recommend this facility I give them 10 Stars thanks a lot guys

Extremely long wait at the counter. But that can be understandable because of the current conditions of the world. But i had reservations online only to be told once I got to the counter that because I chose to pick up at the counter rather than with my phone I wouldn't now be required to piy up a $200 deposit. That is a considerable deposit to be required to have with absolutely zero notice. Needless to say I didn't have that for a deposit. So I didnt get my rental.

I picked up a 4x7'trailer at about noon on 9-8-2021 I returned it at about 11:00 AM 9-8-2021 I have a quote for $22.95 for that 24 hr time frame.I was billed $49.11 on my credit card. I called the outlet several times and got a recording of a wait time of 30 some minutes. Please correct this so I don't have to report this to my credit card co.

Try to train your employees to be professional, courteous, and respectful. The manager was asking the employees how to do something, so I would start by firing him. Also I overheard the girl that worked there call me a dumb white mother fucker for showing up at 6:45 and not making a reservation. Another thing, why did they have to scan my I.D. with thier cellphone. In the end I left with no trailer because the employee did not have the trailer description right on his paperwork and even though the one I needed was cheaper, and in stock he refused to rework the issue and says " now we are closed nothin I can do". I see why they don't wear nametags at this location.

The person working the desk was very unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever (12:45ish in the afternoon of Saturday September 11, 2021). He was an older gentleman. When I went in to get the keys after doing the mobile check-in he was chatting with another worker. Finally noticed me standing there and then told me to wait a minute while he finished up whatever he was doing on his personal cell phone. After a minute or two he asked what I needed and got my keys. After coming back a couple hours later to return the van I sent my son over to double check where we needed to leave the van. He was not clear whatsoever so we parked in the area he seemed to be pointing to. I was unable to find the key drop off box so I went in to ask. He told me to park it under the canopy (which is where we parked originally and was told that wasn't right) and to leave the keys in the vehicle. I parked it under there and then saw a drop box and put the keys in there. This worker seemed very inconvenienced and annoyed with being asked questions by customers. He is being paid to do a job and should be helpful in doing so. I will not use this location ever in the future since there are plenty of other locations who have workers who actually care enough to help paying customers. I will also make sure any friends or family that need a moving truck in the future know to go to a different location.

There was no one inside when I came to pick up the truck, had to go outside to find someone. I had the truck just about an hour and drove 4 miles total to pick up a couch. The truck said 3/4 full, it had not really moved at all, when I returned it,I was charged $20 for gas for a 4 mile trip! I will be informing everyone I can, that it is actually $5.99 per mile not .99, this was absurd! I could have hired someone to move the couch cheaper! I will never be using uhaul again and will let people know thru social media the actual cost for dealing with your company.

I was greeted by a young lady who was very nice, however she was going to help hook up another customer, which was fine. then another employee asked if he could help I told him I was there to pick up a trailer and he wouldn't help, he called someone else over to help us. then when we went to pick up the trailer. he asked "do you think this little car can pull that?" I said that was what I was hoping you would tell me. He ignored that and continued to play on his phone and he was just rude and dismissive. he did nothing to help hook the trailer up except yell at my daughter to "Go" when she was trying to figure out which way she should go to get out of the parking lot. This was the first time she had ever pulled a trailer and he was just not a nice person. I was no happy with my service there! I will not use that facility when I move this next month.

Workers were all incredibly disinterested in helping me with anything. Was told there was an elevator but there was not one for my unit. Also was told there would be a lock in my unit, had to go ask the customer service people for one, they were still rude about it. Easy experience just bad customer service. Room is fine and facility is fine, just crappy employees.

It would be very helpful if there was someone on duty in the office 24/7. That was the only real problem we ran into. We had questions only anon site employee could answer and there was nobody to talk to in the middle of the night when we were forced to do most of our moving due to work schedules. Otherwise it went smoothly except for the website is much too complicated for a first time user at 11pm at night plus the wait time to connect to a person is extreme not a fan of your web and app sites. Much more person to person contact needed. Would also like a facility like this one closer in Greenwood this was a major drive every time we had to go to the unit for anything.

Talked me into renting with a free month. I told them my concern on late fees because I'm on a fixed income. Manager told me not to ever worry about fees since I am a veteran. Well then they made me pay late fees. Then up on my termination of the unit I attempted to rent a truck and they started telling me stories about when to have the truck back. The manager was so ambiguous that I informed him I was concerned about his behavior and would not be renting a truck. Another case of young thugs trying to take advantage of a senior citizen. I will never ever do business with Uhaul again.

The storage is very easy to access, the staff is friendly and we all receive an individual set of password to get in to the storage, which I think is safer. However, we are in the second floor, which is really hot and humid. But other than that I think is pretty good

I arrived to the property to ask about moving my storage to a smaller and cheaper one. I was told that I could not do that until I paid $104 for my current storage. Although my current storage was a free month when we moved in. I tried getting the manager Eric Williams to explain the free month process to me. He started being belligerent when I told home he wasn't explaining something right. He was beyond rude and very unprofessional. I couldn't understand what he was sayin so I walked out to leave. He followed me and my fiancé to our vehicle were he continued to use profanity yelling and screaming. Almost 10 minutes later employee Brittany called and said the manager Eric was evicting me same day and I had to move out. This location needs new staff and a training course

I waited 2 hours in line, where 1 person was at the counter complaining more about being the only person at the counter than actually trying to help people. Once I got to the counter, the rep wasn't able to process my payment for my time in the storage unit and asked me to leave and call another time. It was also extremely inconvenient to move heavy furniture to a second floor storage unit without an elevator.

I thought the online processes were going to be helpful, but it wasn't. I went into the rental office to get directions to my unit and make sure I had the right size and the gentleman that helped me acted like he was put out to help. I had rented the unit before the truck and after I rented the truck was given a month's free rent. When I went to get information on my unit and upgraded the unit I mentioned it and was asked if the truck rental was local or out of state and when I said it was local, the guy told me that it doesn't qualify! I came back in a couple of days later and started the online check in for the truck and when I went in the guy helping me had the wrong name and told me the rental was canceled and then he said my rental must not have gone through and was being argumentative about it. I had to pull up the text confirmation to get the truck! When I made the reservation I included a dolly and furniture pads and upon finishing the rental was told there isn't a dolly, I was refunded for it but still. The whole process was pressing! I went in the building to return the uhaul and was told to take the key outside and someone will get it then was told to pull up to equipment return and someone will check it in and send me a receipt. I sat there for 25 minutes and no one bothered to stop and speak to me until I decided to leave. The big units are upstairs when they should be on bottom floor. This place isn't ran well, the employees seem annoyed to be there. I won't recommend this place for anything.

Eric is an angel and deserves a raise and like eight weeks of paid vacation. Kevin sucks, doesn't hold himself accountable, doesn't value clientele and he can go choke :)

This location has great customer service & Justin ( Manager) went above and beyond due to my emergency move away from abusive husband. I dont know if its policy but I am greatful for his assistance with my situation & needing late night assistance. I hope uhaul helps others like he helped me have the option to "get out" & not miss work. I have to rate this store an 20 out of 10. Amanda

I paid for a storage unit, when i arrived to uhaul to put my belonging i was given a unit that belong to someone else, they where closed.. The manager Justin was called he was very RUDE! hung up in me and my daughter face. I had to get a storage some where else! Anyone looking for a storage this is not the place to go!!!
