Extremely long wait at the counter. But that can be understandable because of the current conditions of the world. But i had reservations online only to be told once I got to the counter that because I chose to pick up at the counter rather than with my phone I wouldn't now be required to piy up a $200 deposit. That is a considerable deposit to be required to have with absolutely zero notice. Needless to say I didn't have that for a deposit. So I didnt get my rental.Sara M.

I picked up a 4x7'trailer at about noon on 9-8-2021 I returned it at about 11:00 AM 9-8-2021 I have a quote for $22.95 for that 24 hr time frame.I was billed $49.11 on my credit card. I called the outlet several times and got a recording of a wait time of 30 some minutes. Please correct this so I don't have to report this to my credit card co.JOEL S.

Try to train your employees to be professional, courteous, and respectful. The manager was asking the employees how to do something, so I would start by firing him. Also I overheard the girl that worked there call me a dumb white mother fucker for showing up at 6:45 and not making a reservation. Another thing, why did they have to scan my I.D. with thier cellphone. In the end I left with no trailer because the employee did not have the trailer description right on his paperwork and even though the one I needed was cheaper, and in stock he refused to rework the issue and says " now we are closed nothin I can do". I see why they don't wear nametags at this location.JEREMY R.

The person working the desk was very unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever (12:45ish in the afternoon of Saturday September 11, 2021). He was an older gentleman. When I went in to get the keys after doing the mobile check-in he was chatting with another worker. Finally noticed me standing there and then told me to wait a minute while he finished up whatever he was doing on his personal cell phone. After a minute or two he asked what I needed and got my keys. After coming back a couple hours later to return the van I sent my son over to double check where we needed to leave the van. He was not clear whatsoever so we parked in the area he seemed to be pointing to. I was unable to find the key drop off box so I went in to ask. He told me to park it under the canopy (which is where we parked originally and was told that wasn't right) and to leave the keys in the vehicle. I parked it under there and then saw a drop box and put the keys in there. This worker seemed very inconvenienced and annoyed with being asked questions by customers. He is being paid to do a job and should be helpful in doing so. I will not use this location ever in the future since there are plenty of other locations who have workers who actually care enough to help paying customers. I will also make sure any friends or family that need a moving truck in the future know to go to a different location.Marlaina R.
Most times when I went in there, the customer service was good enough. However one day the lady behind the counter was talking to somebody on the phone on speaker. They even continued their conversation while trying to rent equipment. Was very rude and off puttingChris B.
There was no one inside when I came to pick up the truck, had to go outside to find someone. I had the truck just about an hour and drove 4 miles total to pick up a couch. The truck said 3/4 full, it had not really moved at all, when I returned it,I was charged $20 for gas for a 4 mile trip! I will be informing everyone I can, that it is actually $5.99 per mile not .99, this was absurd! I could have hired someone to move the couch cheaper! I will never be using uhaul again and will let people know thru social media the actual cost for dealing with your company.Susan R.

I was greeted by a young lady who was very nice, however she was going to help hook up another customer, which was fine. then another employee asked if he could help I told him I was there to pick up a trailer and he wouldn't help, he called someone else over to help us. then when we went to pick up the trailer. he asked "do you think this little car can pull that?" I said that was what I was hoping you would tell me. He ignored that and continued to play on his phone and he was just rude and dismissive. he did nothing to help hook the trailer up except yell at my daughter to "Go" when she was trying to figure out which way she should go to get out of the parking lot. This was the first time she had ever pulled a trailer and he was just not a nice person. I was no happy with my service there! I will not use that facility when I move this next month.Olivia M.

Employees were friendly and helpful. Overall, the truck was fine, but it smelled heavily of cigarettes, the passenger windshield wiper blade was broken (fixed it myself) and the key frequently got stuck in the ignition of the truck.MICHAEL M.
I reserved a dolly and furniture dolly along with my rental about 2-4 weeks in advance. The morning-of, I get told in person that the equipment is not available. That's an immediate huge setback to my day - that stuff is kind of important to move big heavy objects, right? You've got to notify people in advance for stuff like that because we're planning on using it to accomplish our goals. Notify in advance and give the option to cancel if necessary. I'm giving 3-stars instead of 2 because the gentleman working on Labor Day was probably seriously short-staffed and he set aside a Bluetooth speaker I accidentally left in the rental so I could come back and get it. The only 2 good and positive things about this store are the customer service of the 2 gentlemen that helped with our pickup and return of the rental, and the 26ft rental truck that was brand new and pristine. Rude employee working at this location. Waited for at least 44 min to get waited on. We turned in our tow dolly 5 days early - due to we had to return home from our vacation due to a family emergency - and we did not get a refund for the 5 days. Ridiculous! Would recommend others to rent equipment for less than the time they think they might need it - then add more days if necessary! 1st) when I called to verify equipment. Was told to be early as they close at 7p. Told them I would be there at 6 to 630. They restated to be earlier. Is 30min to an hour not long enough?? 2nd) csa never stood up greet me and then took personal call. Probably the reason they rented me the wrong trailer. Not to mention they added the 8$ insurance that I did not ask for. When I went back in, the csa made another csa fix his mistake. When the next guy did it he charged me an even higher insurance rate at $16. After asking for no insurance. Would not recommend to a friend or at least warm them about being charged the extra fees Note: my online reservation declined insurance n neither csa ask if I wanted insurance. Total scam!KARL W.
The location is conveniently close to the highway. The staff consisted of two gentleman that I saw at the time of pick up who where friendly and clear when giving instructions on what to expect with the terms of renting the truck and the truck itself. They even made me laugh. The truck itself seemed new and easy to drive. Very clean and user friendly. I needed extra time with the vehicle and I was able to call the 1-800 line and was giving amazing customer service and the extension I needed. 10 out of 10 would use this location and uhaul again.SUANNE C.

Overall experience bad. Charged way to much. Have $288 still on my charge. Plus 2 other charges. Went to return the caravan before 7 like the paper was circled in yellow marker - got there at 6:54 and the doors were locked 2 other parties were also trying to return stuff. Saw people leaving from side door. They said just leave cars vans in parking lot with key in them. The staff said that they close at 6:30 DOOR SAYS 7:00!!! The lady in front of me was comped mileage and received a lower mileage rate. Then, a man 3 people behind me was allowed to jump the line. I had already waited in line over 30 minutes. When I got the key to the truck I couldn't find it. It wasn't at the front location with the other vehicles. A staff member seen me and ask if she could help. She went to the back of the lot and found the truck. I was in the a hurry so I got in and left the location. The next day as I was going to drive to Mo. I noticed the cup holders were dirty. I looked at the floor and it was dirty in areas where no one had sit in. I told the person who checked in my truck. I pray I don't have Covid. I have only used Uhaul for years. It would be very helpful if there was someone on duty in the office 24/7. That was the only real problem we ran into. We had questions only anon site employee could answer and there was nobody to talk to in the middle of the night when we were forced to do most of our moving due to work schedules. Otherwise it went smoothly except for the website is much too complicated for a first time user at 11pm at night plus the wait time to connect to a person is extreme not a fan of your web and app sites. Much more person to person contact needed. check in was really slow, reserved this trailer in Franklin and it was changed 2 times and I eventually ended up in Indianapolis which was not a convenient pick up location. trailer pulled well and did the jobJOHN H.
My visit with this location was not ideal. I tried using the mobile check in and it was very complicated. My identity could not be verified and the 2 references didn't answer their phone so this delayed the process. I had to go to the counter inside to check out. The service reps weren't friendly or accommodating to their customers. I feel like they really couldn't care less. Then I was over charged for refueling the vehicle. I returned the vehicle exactly as it was when I picked it up. Overall my experience with this visit was disappointing.Courtney S.

Talked me into renting with a free month. I told them my concern on late fees because I'm on a fixed income. Manager told me not to ever worry about fees since I am a veteran. Well then they made me pay late fees. Then up on my termination of the unit I attempted to rent a truck and they started telling me stories about when to have the truck back. The manager was so ambiguous that I informed him I was concerned about his behavior and would not be renting a truck. Another case of young thugs trying to take advantage of a senior citizen. I arrived to the property to ask about moving my storage to a smaller and cheaper one. I was told that I could not do that until I paid $104 for my current storage. Although my current storage was a free month when we moved in. I tried getting the manager Eric Williams to explain the free month process to me. He started being belligerent when I told home he wasn't explaining something right. He was beyond rude and very unprofessional. I couldn't understand what he was sayin so I walked out to leave. He followed me and my fiancé to our vehicle were he continued to use profanity yelling and screaming. Almost 10 minutes later employee Brittany called and said the manager Eric was evicting me same day and I had to move out. I waited 2 hours in line, where 1 person was at the counter complaining more about being the only person at the counter than actually trying to help people. Once I got to the counter, the rep wasn't able to process my payment for my time in the storage unit and asked me to leave and call another time. I thought the online processes were going to be helpful, but it wasn't. I went into the rental office to get directions to my unit and make sure I had the right size and the gentleman that helped me acted like he was put out to help. I had rented the unit before the truck and after I rented the truck was given a month's free rent. When I went to get information on my unit and upgraded the unit I mentioned it and was asked if the truck rental was local or out of state and when I said it was local, the guy told me that it doesn't qualify! I came back in a couple of days later and started the online check in for the truck and when I went in the guy helping me had the wrong name and told me the rental was canceled and then he said my rental must not have gone through and was being argumentative about it. I had to pull up the text confirmation to get the truck! When I made the reservation I included a dolly and furniture pads and upon finishing the rental was told there isn't a dolly, I was refunded for it but still. The whole process was pressing! I went in the building to return the uhaul and was told to take the key outside and someone will get it then was told to pull up to equipment return and someone will check it in and send me a receipt. I sat there for 25 minutes and no one bothered to stop and speak to me until I decided to leave. The big units are upstairs when they should be on bottom floor. I was moving my son from another state I needed somewhere to store his washer and dryer. I didn't get to the facility until after hours it took me 45 minutes to find my unit for me only to discover that I could not install a washer and dryer in it as it was an upper level Unit.
