LUIS IThe woman that was at the front desk (I believe it was the general manager?) was EXTREMELY condescending and rude. I am paying for my service, which means I have NO need to deal with her attitude. She was at the counter bad-mouthing about a customer that she had just gotten off the phone with to her colleague, which in itself says a lot about her character. UHaul should be refunding me in full for such disservice and I sure will NEVER be going to this location again.

Scott KI had reserved blankets and a dolly for my move. I made my reservation several days in advance. When we arrived we were informed me that they were out of those items and I had to go and purchase them from the local hardware store. Additionally. on the website it had where I could sign up for moving assistance at my final destination. I tried calling them for 4 days prior to my move and never got any response. I was informed at Uhaul that is a third party and that there was nothing they could do. The day after my move the movers called me to set up a time for my move. I advised them I no longer needed their services and they said they were sorry they are a new company and were just to busy to return my phone calls or to set up a time. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience as I was in Amarillo, Texas and was coordinating the move of my mother's furniture in Houston, as she had recently died, and my son was moving the contents of her apartment to his house in Grand Prairie, Texas.

I slipped trying to get in truck and fell in the mud. I hurt my hip and got drenched in that mud. doing the return the guy checking truck in was rude and lazy. didn’t like that we had supplies to return.

I understand they were busy, but it was a little awkward doing it by myself. I hope I left it in the right place. Trailer was perfect for what I needed it for and the price was very reasonable. When we tried to load a piano onto the trailer, the whole trailer disconnected from the truck! What if we had been on the.road driving and the trailer had unhitched? Not only.would we hsve.lost the trailer, we would've lost the piano as.well that we just.purchased! Pk7s, we would've no doubt have caused several wrecks as the trailer and.piano.cateened out of co trol on the road! This was a very dangerous.mistake made by the worker on duty. We told the.manager on duty when we returned the trailer.

My first experience storing my vehicle with them was fine except for a little mishap. When I went to collect my vehicle I stopped in the office, spoke with a gentleman that I was clearing out, he checked my account on his computer and told me I was all set. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and he said no, I was good to go. I collected my vehicle and left. A few months later while I was overseas I noticed they had continued to charge my account for storage. I called them the next business day and couldn't get to speak with anyone. A man would pick up the phone and say something like: thanks for calling U-Haul, please hold. Over and over. I was on the phone for almost 30 minutes and kept getting the same behavior. Meanwhile this was an international call for me. I called back the next day 16 times and still they answer put me on hold and never come back. So I sent an email which no one responded to. A month later I came back to the States and went to their location. The gentleman that attended to me said my account was never closed bhe closed it and gave me the card for the manager and told me to call the next day. I called the manager, De-Anne, explained my situation. She put me on hold to check some things, came back and said they'd reverse the charges! I got my money back several days later. Overall, great service except for the money part and the horrible phone etiquette. I would recommend this location but know that the phone might not be the best way to contact them.

I've dealt with several of the staff, off and on, over the years and, especially over the past 2 years or so, I've just noticed that, to a person, they've all been especially courteous, helpful, and professional. (I've dealt with a lot of movers and storage places over the years and know that (1) this is not the norm for the industry and (2) this team is distinctive, in a very good way....You've got good people, they seem to be well-trained, have good work ethic, and have developed good customer service skills that will serve them well and serve the business well.....Just wanted to pass that along and say "Thank you" and "Keep up the good work". (Hope somebody actually gets this feedback.)

I was unable to go there for a very long time. Recently I went there and had forgotten exactly how to open the door. The lady manager was openly agitated because I needed help. She made it obvious that it was a bother and I should have known better. Just a reminder, people representing a company have no idea what their customers are going through. Being patient and showing a little kindness when what appears to them we should know better, goes a long way.

I reported that the pull down door was not working properly to one of the staff members. He said he needs to report it to the store manager the was about a week after i got the storage. I've moved to cubesmart where when requesting repairs its immediately.

The manager assured me that she would apply the payment when she return to the facility but she didn’t . Then she locked the unit and my contractor lost two days. Of work. She also refused to give me my second free unit after I rented a one way unit. I f have filed more than one complaint but no one has reached out to address any of my concerns. She gave me permission store my firearms in the storage. On the morning of Thursday June 10th my sons came to the storage to go over inventory which we do regularly as required by ATF. Well a few different staff members approached my sons and LIED and said firearms are not allowed to be stored and one staff member even told my sons that they look “suspect.” My sons were scared, confused and offended! When my sons called me on FaceTime and I got on the phone with DeAnne and reminded her of who I was, she said it was ok. However the damage was done. No one thought to apologize to my sons or me. I am disgusted and appalled that this company treated/PROFILED my sons! I will be contacting corporate

The staff knew these type of things were going on there but no one told us about it in advance. In some way I feel they allowed it to happen because it could have been avoided but no one gave us the heads up. It was all about getting the money each month. Staff was ok but just not informative. Too many trashy people using the place. No security.
