The check engine light was on when I picked up the vehicle I was assured that nothing was wrong by the time I was returning the car the next day the low engine oil light was on. I had the return the car even though I wanted it for an extra day. I had filled the gas tank so I lot money there and wont mind a refund. Finally am still waiting for my reciept for the rental and I have not recieved it yet. WorriedNkechi O.

Well I'm not sure if I could get a refund or get some of my money back. I returned the trunk before the slotted time. I should get some of my money back just off of that. I don't know. I think Uhaul company is a bunch of crooks. HonestlyTavier E.
We had a tire blowout on a very busy freeway in Houston, TX. We called roadside assistance and got a recording. That was disappointing but it provided us with good info and promised s call back. At its direction we called 911, the police arrived and protected us from the traffic and called a wrecker to get us off the freeway, which showed up in about 15 minutes. Shortly thereafter Uhaul called back and sent someone to meet us and repair the tire. The man who repaired it was efficient, quick, and refused to take the tip we tried to give him (he certainly earned it). Uhaul reimbursed us for the wrecker within about three weeks. Overall, the truck was good, ran well, the people at each end were courteous and efficient, and the support when we broke down was excellent. Make sure you pay the extra few dollars to include road side assist in your rental agreement.Glynn E.

The place was clean and they was very very kind and nice but the only problem was We had a van that had the engine light on which is very scary because you don't want to break down on the road in Texas. But the lady said it's of there's no codes and they will be having that fix but that didn't make me happy. We was driving a van with the engine light on worrying if we was going to break down while moving our things. I was like I am paying for a van that I am scared as hell driving because the engine light is on and it's hot as hell out here and I don't want to break down on the highway and something goes wrong. That's a very scary feeling especially in Texas because people always running into people who break down and I didn't want to be the one who back up traffic and cause an accident or be in one. So please please fix this problem because this was a very uncomfortable situation and I paid for a working van that I could drive worried freegabriella W.

Returning service is excellent. The staff immediately came out and guide us to park the truck. When I told him that I put more gas in the tank and I could not control the amount of gas if not in full of tank. The lady at the counter was fabulous. However, the 2 young men that were there when we returned the truck were on their phones rather than helping/guiding the truck as we drove. I had to ask one of them if they could at least guide my driver.Laura S.
I returned the truck after hours and The iPhone application to return the truck was not able to pick the location. All Safari settings were as per the uHaul instructions. Also there was not a bar code at the location as an alternate method to confirm return location. I was charged with the return fee due a malfunction of the return appRolando V.
I was rented a uhual truck that broke down on me after having it about 3 hours. It read so many violation codes when the mechanic arrived to my son and myself 3 hours later. He was very empathetic to the horrible situation I had been placed in as well as my son and all drivers who were out driving unaware of the danger they were facing. I have rented from uhaul several times in the past however this time I had the worst experience ever and I will not be returning as a customer. Right after reservation I got a call from the location saying they did not have a van and the reservation I made was not confirmed. If I wanted to pick up the van I would have to drop off at another location or not get a van. Then I had a lockout where I was promised that they would extend my drop off time to 11am. This was not done. Lastly I spoke to Dorkus which was my worst experience by far. She had me on the phone for 25 min and was no help whatsoever. She was also extremely rude and hung up on me after yelling at me on the phone. Absolutely horrible customer service. She should not be working in a customer facing role. I urge you to listen to her call.ALI N.
1-I couldn't get the truck on the planned day since the gate was locked. I received the truck key but not the truck. 2- The truck AC wasn't working. In Houston without AC? 3- The truck was 24 hours but they change the drop-off time to less than that however after a phone call they corrected it. Overall was fine but AC was a problem.Omer K.

There was less than 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up!! I put in $70.00 worth of gas not knowing how much I really needed so I left it with about 1/2 tank full of gas. It would have been nice to have the tank full and I would have filled it up upon return. Also, the truck shook very bad at low speed.Tony L.

The Service Rep Treveson was supposed to get the furniture covers and bring them to me, but he left my and never came back. The truck was filthy inside and had mold in the cup holder and old water bottles on the floors and dirt through out and it took me an hour to clean it in the inside in order to take it for use!Nicole W.

The uhaul in Tustin was helpful and the uhaul in Texas was helpful but the uhaul service in Fullerton made not want to use uhaul ever again there was three lady that I had to go back and forward with to which lead us raising are voices there was lies to which made me not want to use them ever again in three ladies made me so upset I wish I had the name to put it on here very rudePaula B.

Over all it was good. I had this unit for about 10 years. I had severe medical issues during that time and my husband of 38 years had recently died. I was unable to go there for a very long time. Recently I went there and had forgotten exactly how to open the door. The lady manager was openly agitated because I needed help. She made it obvious that it was a bother and I should have known better. Just a reminder, people representing a company have no idea what their customers are going through. I can truly say that the staff has been super nice. The issue I had kind of put a damper in my over all experience. I reported that the pull down door was not working properly to one of the staff members. He said he needs to report it to the store manager the was about a week after i got the storage. I gave him my extra key as he requested to have access to do the repairs. I move out on this pass Sunday the pull down door was never repaired. II submitted more than one complaint against this facility. I paid the rent but the facility did not record my payment because of this I was locked out of my unit. The manager assured me that she would apply the payment when she return to the facility but she didn't . Then she locked the unit and my contractor lost two days. Of work. She also refused to give me my second free unit after I rented a one way unit. I f have filed more than one complaint but no one has reached out to address any of my concerns. I have never been more insulted. When I first leased the storage I informed DeAnne that I am an FFL holder (a LICENSED gun dealer). She gave me permission store my firearms in the storage. On the morning of Thursday June 10th my sons came to the storage to go over inventory which we do regularly as required by ATF. Well a few different staff members approached my sons and LIED and said firearms are not allowed to be stored and one staff member even told my sons that they look "suspect." My sons were scared, confused and offended! When my sons called me on FaceTime and I got on the phone with DeAnne and reminded her of who I was, she said it was ok. However the damage was done. It wasn't a horrible experience. My catalytic converter was stollen of my RV along with about 6 other people in the same day. The staff knew these type of things were going on there but no one told us about it in advance. In some way I feel they allowed it to happen because it could have been avoided but no one gave us the heads up. It was all about getting the money each month. Staff was ok but just not informative.
