Need to look at the gas gauge because I put $20 in it when I got to Amarillo and when I left my hometown I put $20 in and it picked it up above a half a tank to where it was when I picked it up so when I got here and put the $20 and it didn't even get it up there so I put 10 more dollars in before dropping it off so I believe I put more gas into it then what should've been put it in

Customer service at this location was terrible. Would not recommend this location. I interacted with two different people and both acted like they did not want to be there. Would not look me in the eye, both were short when I asked questions.

This is the worst U-Haul I have ever encountered. It took 40 minutes for me to get the truck key. They left a spare tire on my vehicle so it looks like my vehicle needed maintenance the whole time I had it which I was not able to use it and Ithey think they should give me my money back. They were rude one of the girls got up and slam the door when I didn't agree with what she had to say. The manager tried but he has much to be desired and management skills. This is the worst run business the worst equipment the worst everything I have ever encountered and I myself am a business owner this is the most ridiculous place I have ever had to do business with in my life and I will never do business here again and I will tell everybody that I can not to do business with this company or with this branch. I don't even know how they can call herself a decent business. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to everybody that I can. All I have to say is do not use this company and especially this branch. Ambos

I was bounced around both by online reservations and at the locations....I had to pick up a truck at another location and get my storage unit at another location while the reservations on line gave me another location...wasting my time and cost me hundreds of dollars for your computer and reservation system which the attendants do not know how to use

I dropped off my rental before the next 24hour rental. And they had charged me that extra day. I dropped it off at 830am. And they didn't do the closing time till 1230 pm So they can make the extra day. I've called the general manager Daniel Sommers and left him messages on but have Not got a call back. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication and customer service at this location. U-Haul please fix this for future customer's. Because I will not go back there

I chose the online pick up to expedite the process. I walked around the mess that is the parking lot looking for my truck. I finally ran into a worker who informed me that truck had been given to another person and I'd have to go inside. So far 10 min wasted. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, which is why I chose the self pick up it took another 20 minutes to get my truck. I asked if I could change from a 4 hour rental to a 24 since I had already waged 30 minutes. The guy said sure. 45 minutes after arriving I left. An hour later I got a text saying my truck needed to be returned at 1:30, 4 hours from my rental time, not 4 hours from when I actually got the truck. Also, I had switched to 24 hours which the guy that checked me out didn't change in the system. I can't stand Uhaul, horrible service each time I go and it takes forever. I wish there was another company who offered the same service, I would use them for sure!

I order furniture pads and they never put them in my truck. I picked the truck up after hours , so I couldn't get in touch with no one to see if I could get the pads that I ordered. Just hoping I get a refund on them. But overall not a bad Uhaul place.

One employee was rude. The girl checking me in and out was nice. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it with 1/2 a tank. But then I was charged for 2 extra miles. The truck should just be on full when a customer picks it up. Cause that cost me extra to your advantage. And that's what the employee was rude about. If they'd just do their job by filling up the truck to start with then that wouldn't be an issue.

I reserved a truck and an interior storage on the same day at the same time, but when I arrived at this store, the storage was already rented by someone else. I thought they made a mistake and asked the owner how could this happened without any notification? He said “it happens all the time”. The word “Reservation” means nothing to these people. I would tell your next customer do not waste your time at this store and do your business else where.

When returning the trailer a few hours later, the same representative was offering the availability of appliance dolly's to another customer. True, several could have been returned between my two visits, but I find it rather unlikely.

The staff were very helpful, polite, and professional. Unfortunately, I returned the trailer 1.5 hours after renting it, and returned it while the business was still open, and with a employee watching me do so. It wasn't 'checked back in" until 2 PM the next day. I was then charged for a two day rental. I had to spend 1 hour and 7 minutes on the phone with Uhaul to receive my $24 refund.

The front of the truck was clean & looked great. Judging from how good it looked up front, I neglected to open the back of the truck. When we got ready to load, It was filthy from previous customer hauling some kind of wood. There was tree sap & saw dust in the back of the truck. No attempt was made to even sweep it out.

Our stuff was stolen from our camper, the person there took pictures and said they would look at the cameras. When I checked back a couple of months later they forgot to even record the incident or check the cameras. The manager seemed to have covered the fact that it wasn't taken care of by saying "they never check cameras for stolen incidents"

They only had one size unit available which was still too small I called their other location they had even a smaller unit only available then right at the last minute as I was in the parking lot they informed me at the location I was at that they were able to get me a slightly bigger unit that one had just become available instead of letting me drive off they took the time and consideration I greatly appreciate it I would highly recommend U-Haul for storage and moving it was an interesting experience for the fact that the employees actually cared about someone even like me to walk in and still find me a better unit and not giving up in doing so that is an act of service you do not see too often anymore to go a little above and beyond goes a long way thank you don't stop hiring employees like that and continue your services as is

I was very dissatisfied with the service I received. Moving into my unit should've been super easy because I had a reservation, but when I got there you didn't have a unit available in the size I reserved and your employees tried to railroad me into paying more for a bigger unit when I didn't need more storage space. If someone makes a reservation you should always be prepared to honor that reservation, or at least honor that price, without customers having to argue with 3 different employees.

The first guy that helped me reserved everything but told me that the first month wouldn't be free and that that has never been a "thing" then told me that I could turn in the truck late after hours. Then came back in and another employee told me the exact opposite. It would be great to have all workers on the same page with the company policies to reduce confusion. Other than that my experience with uhaul has always been good.

On u-boxes, you are great but vehicle storage is horrible. My Motorhome was vandalized and catalytic converter was stolen. It had only been in storage for 5 weeks. You refund my money for July storage. Then texts are sent to me about not paying and late charges. Received several of this texts from Dan Somers. It took multiple calls to straighten this out. Poor customer service.

The door to our unit was broken & took several complaints from us before it was fixed. The staff were rude, hateful, & unhelpful on multiple occasions. Most of the time I felt like they were inconvenienced just by being there. I would not recommend this facility.

Most of staff very helpful. You have one guy who flippant and rude to customers in the store and on the phone. He also wasn't a team player. He tried to show his superiors over other workers. I have never had a bad experience with Uhaul outside of every time I visit or use this location it takes so long for me to helped or get anything done. Staff are very helpful and kind, but facility is very understaffed. All I needed to do was check out of my unit and I waited 35 minutes just to hand in a lock and get a receipt. My need was less than 2 minutes long and I waited 35. This is not the first time I have waited here. Great place, but poorly staffed.

We had our camper burglarized and have a loss of over $3,000. UHaul failed to notify us that there was already a prior break in at their facility. The lot is not secure and should have razor wire installed.

The only complaint I have with U-Haul is in regards to the processing automatic draft payments and the $15 dollar processing fee associated with deactivated debit cards. In this modern electronic banking world in which we all live, fraudulent activity on one's debit/bank account is very common occurrence. Fraudulent activity almost always triggers one's debit card to be deactivated by the issuing banking institution and requires the holder of the debit card to contact every entity that has an automatic draft or auto pay associated. Rather than offer a courtesy call, email, etc. when a payment is declined by a debit card that has been deactivated due to fraudulent activity, U-Haul simply adds a $15 fee as if the account was overdrawn. The storage facility to which I moved to does not tack on ridiculous fees and offers a courtesy call when payment cannot be processed.

Had a vehicle in storage for months and turns out this location leaves the gate open all hours of the day and night and pays no attention to customer belongings. I decided to have the car shipped to me upon finding this out, the truck driver was able to enter the facility, work with a local tow driver, get to the back where my truck was, load it and drove off without so much as a gate code. Had also been trying to get in contact with the employees on location to help set up the shipping and for over a month all I could reach is corporate customer service because the location refused to answer or return any calls. I also ended up paying an extra month because of the same issue. Do not reccomend. Search elsewhere for a storage facility.
