I waited 1.5 hours for the tire to be replaced on the trailer. I arrived at the U-Haul store at 5:30 and explained to your representative that I would have been on time with the return but was late due to the trailer tire issue. The representative assured me that he would mark it as on time and that I would not be charged an additional day. As for the condition of the trailer, in addition to the bad tire, the fold down to allow access to the driver side of the tow vehicle would not fold down all the way and it was difficult to gain access to the tow vehicle.Lindsay W.

Poor customer service .I was at the location around 2.30pm salvor local rental (van or pickup he said not available he told go to other locations they have all kind of rental available I went over there no rental available & come back again I ask different sales man all the sudden cab availableSengodan M.
Check out equipment before we get there. We had to wait for an hour for them to check out the trailer lights would not work on the truck we were using. I finally told them just give me the truck. We called 30 minutes in advance that we were on the way.Preston L.

I was very dissatisfied with the service I received. Moving into my unit should've been super easy because I had a reservation, but when I got there you didn't have a unit available in the size I reserved and your employees tried to railroad me into paying more for a bigger unit when I didn't need more storage space. If someone makes a reservation you should always be prepared to honor that reservation, or at least honor that price, without customers having to argue with 3 different employees.Maria G. | Overall Experience

I hade reservations for a 20ft truck. Employees were just dragging. I had to wait 35 minutes to finally get the truck. When returned I refueled but the guy charged Mt for 3 more gallons very unprofessional & lazy when returning the truck. Will never ever use this location. The car hauler I rented, the passenger side tie down ratchet is extremely difficult to release the ratchet and get the strap loose. I tried to lubricate it a little bit but the ratchet mechanism itself is damaged and the release mechanism is not working properly.JOSHUA N.

I was not informed how to check out when I rented the truck or when I dropped it off. The person in Richmond Hill asked if I did my return online I said I didn't know how and he said that he couldn't help me but I was going to be charged a late fee. I informed him I was 2 days early and he just shrugged his shoulders. By the time I figured out how to check out I had locked the truck, dropped the key and left.Judi Z.

The location lost my reservation, which meant I needed to wait for approximately 45 minutes to process my rental rather than using the app. This error made me late to my appointment with movers. The location's queue management and allocation of personnel at busy times of day also leaves much to me desired. I nevertheless recommend the location because of a decent experience there in the past.Juliana T.

Actually provide the service you charge for. I paid for a hitch installation with with electrical and paid for it. They kept my car for 9 hours when initially they said 2-3hrs and no electrical connection was installed. I was charged for it but no one mentioned the work wasn't complete until I went to hook up my trailer. Now it's a miracle no one can call me back about this problem.Clarissa S.

The first guy that helped me reserved everything but told me that the first month wouldn't be free and that that has never been a "thing" then told me that I could turn in the truck late after hours. Then came back in and another employee told me the exact opposite. It would be great to have all workers on the same page with the company policies to reduce confusion. Train your people that attach the trailer how to do so properly. The pigtail for the wiring harness wasn't secured, dropped to the ground and within 30 minutes was ruined. We tried to call the roadside assistance twice and got put on hold for 30 minutes each time. My husband was able to fix the wiring harness at home. Other than that, all is well that ends well.Larry B.
Vehicle rental should be allow to continue until such time it is not needed. Yes we had it for several months, but only because the insurance company of the person who wrecked my suburban continues to delay paying off due to a total loss. Service was good as always. Equipment rented had two marker lights that were not working. One was replaced, however the second was removed due to faulty wiring. Trailer also had an overly, unevenly worn tire that needed to be replaced before departure as well.JASON P.

We did not receive the call we were told we would get the evening before our reservation to confirm the pick up. The truck and trailer were not available for pick up when we arrived at our reservation time. They called an hour later to let us know our reserved truck and equipment was ready. When we arrived the second time the had the truck we reserved ready but no trailer available. They did not assist us in finding a trailer instead canceled our order for the trailer. I called customer service and was on hold for 1.5 in order to get a trailer reserved.Jonathan S.

On u-boxes, you are great but vehicle storage is horrible. My Motorhome was vandalized and catalytic converter was stolen. It had only been in storage for 5 weeks. You refund my money for July storage. Then texts are sent to me about not paying and late charges. Received several of this texts from Dan Somers. It took multiple calls to straighten this out. Most of staff very helpful. You have one guy who flippant and rude to customers in the store and on the phone. He also wasn't a team player. He tried to show his superiors over other workers. I have never had a bad experience with Uhaul outside of every time I visit or use this location it takes so long for me to helped or get anything done. Staff are very helpful and kind, but facility is very understaffed. All I needed to do was check out of my unit and I waited 35 minutes just to hand in a lock and get a receipt.
