The pickup location was good. I walked in looking for a truck I had to wait about 35-40 minutes to because they didn't have the truck but he was waiting to see if someone that had the truck reserve was going to come back to get it when they didn't I then got to rent the truck he was very helpful.
JULIANNE MCharged for 12 pads but only provided 6 pads. Very disappointing.
Steven HArrived 20 minutes early and was told to leave and return later While getting ready to leave was again told that I needed to leave On return 30 minutes later trailer was not available and still waited 20 more minutes to get service Worst customer service ever and I have rented dozens of times

MAURA CThe two gentlemen, the manager and the mechanic, went above and beyond to help us out with our rental. My vehicle had died and we had to have it towed to Salem then after encountering an issue with the tow truck driver we managed to work together to jump it and get it up on the trailer. We had a long journey ahead of us driving back to North Dakota and they were so helpful making sure we were all set. We are so grateful for the help and efforts of the Salem Uhaul associates. 10/10

JUSTIN TAnthony (the General Manager) is the most rude person I've ever dealt with at any business I've ever spent my money at. Immediate attitude upon arrival to the location. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Lynn.

JOSE GThis was my drop-off location, so I didn't even step inside. Two excellent bits: the drop-off itself took less than a minute and they found/saved the EZ-Pass transponder I forgot. I was able to retrieve this the following week.

RACHEL LVehicle was clean and with a full tank. I only drove 10 miles with it. After a couple of miles, the engine light turned on, and the truck started making weird streaks with the gas and the rpms were higher than they should have been. As soon as I try to park and switch to R to pull back, the clutch didn't work, so I had to push the truck to pull back and get out of the parking lot. Upon returning it, I wanted to inform the representative and he didn't even stop to listen. These things may happen but it makes you feel like they really don't care. In any case, this was a perception. What I really didn't like at all was the fact that even when you have some issues they tell you to leave it there and leave so you don't get a vehicle inspection for damages while you are there. That means they could always put it on you if they or someone else damages the vehicle after you return it because you don't get that receipt from them before leaving the place. Will not use it again.

BRETT SThe truck's brakes were not in good condition, They didn't let me make self through the app, I had to find a place to park the car at night and return the next day.
DANIEL BThe GM Anthony Gambale was very unprofessional and extremely rude. Threatening to tow customers cars. Down talk customers. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone along as he is employed at this location.

LISA GOk the p/u was smooth transaction 11-28-24, but the drop off was not that great. When dropping off the girl asked me if I put or replace the gas and I said I did I even put more gas in when I took it, I said that was not my job to do her job. I waited for the clerk who was in the bathroom and I never received a receipt because he was having trouble with the computer. And I dropped off at 7:30 am and I still have not received a receipt and now it's 12 noon. 11-29-24. I rented for 1 day other then that all was ok.

They were respectful to one another and friendly to the customers. I complimented them on their hard work and they said they have been there for 5 years. I really was impressed with their smile, good customer service and they were definitely working hard to get through the line. Very impressed.

LINO MMoving is never fun, especially the weekend of 9/1. On such a difficult day of work, Luis had such a great personality and was so helpful, making the experience a positive one. At one point I had a question about the truck, and instead of making me feel stupid, Luis answered the question so professionally. We came again to rent another truck and he was positive and helpful once again. Anthony was also very helpful in this experience.

I've been using it for well over 20 years not for storage but for trucks and supplies it's better than it ever ever was. It's super top-notch, modern and friendly as ever can be the people and helpful.

Max is definitely ready for his assistant management position and went above and beyond to help me get my storage unit set and truck returned. Anthony's leadership and poise were critical at drop off and he has been very helpful resolving discrepancies with the New York pick up location. Make sure you hold on to these guys.

The storage unit door does not have the U-Haul logo and painted number as the rest of them do, so it seemed like maybe I got the trash pick. This unit was the last one of its size and fits all of our storage needs, so we make it work.
