I still not understand why U-Haul at 635 north Midland Ave Saddle broke NJ. 07663 Not accept my return 15 feet truck. I drop my truck once I done my work on Sunday. Monday mornings I get call back from this location they can't take back my truck .so I was at work took 4 hours my sick time .and move my truck other locations. So before you return make sure you call their location. So far I understand I can drop off any U-Haul location.but I didn't work for me . I use 4 hours of sick time to move truck another location Very up setDANESH R.

The only problem I had was that the gas tank level was not accurate at the start. The Uhaul staff indicated it was at 15/16ths of a tank when it was actually 3/4 (12/16ths) full. This is significant with the size if the tank, and the amount of gas these trucks use. I will double check the actual gas gauge before driving and compare to the stated reading on the contract in the future. Otherwise, the staff at Saddle Brook Uhaul were very friendly and helpful. The truck that was give to to me for my rental period had a broken seatbelt. While driving with my daughter, the seatbelt unlatched and wouldn't stay latched. There was also exhaust fumes that were getting into the truck as I was driving. The truck was not well maintained and should not have been rented to anyone in its condition.Thomas F.

The whole point of mobile check-in is to not have to skip the line, right? So why did I have to wait online after my mobile check-in to pick up my key to the truck? That's stupid and defeats the whole purpose. Aside from that, everything else is as expected from u-haul. Nothing fancy or spectacular here.James P.

Please tell customers that in order to check in a uhaul after hours, the check in process requires pictures of the uhaul. Survey first, then drop off keys in the Dropbox. Also what's plan B when wifi doesn't work and you're trying to turn in a uhaul after hours?ELISA M.

Location was great and one staff member in particular was fantastic in accommodating to a specific issue. I have an international license, when i did the check in online it didn't say there was any issue with it and i have rented uhaul before with an international license. This time i was told at the store that international licenses were not accepted anymore. I said the website then should specify that and not give you the option to put in and international license. The staff member saw my frustration and worked hard to make it happen and give me the equipment.Jordan C.

No hidden fees. I reserved it online, and the quoted price was $133. When I went to pick-up, after all the weird and random taxes and fees I had to pay $170. Paying 28% extra from what I thought is not ok. Price was also part of the consideration of what size truck to get.THOMAS K.

Communicate that the rental is behind schedule and unavailable. Have a known phone number available to reach a team member at the location. Ensure the truck is properly cleaned before releasing it for rental. The entire floor of the cargo part of the truck was covered in an oil residue.SHAUN S.

The young lady at the front desk Rene' was my first point of contact. She was very professional and so pleasant and so happy to help and answer questions and this was at 6:15 at night near closing time when most of us would be wore out and eager to close. This was not the case dealing with Rene. She was just as pleasant with all customers before me. I found my experience with this location to be easy an very well thought out. Check in and check out process was uncomplicated. The return of the vehicle was just as easy. Signs posted and arrows painted on the ground direct you to the drop off location and another pleasant and knowledgeable person greets you and takes over your vehicle and emails you your invoice. The return process took less than 1 minute. I highly recommend this particular location (Saddle Brook NJ) for its very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful employees , and the smooth and easy transaction of renting a truck. I was quite surprised at the ease of it all! Thank you to all the nice employees at U haul of Saddle Brook NJ who made my experience A++!!CAROLE G.

You facility had a roof leak and damaged my items. I was told it my problem because I didn't have separate insurance. I really don't care what the contract says. You have a building that's not maintained and that should not be my problem. I lost three months of Rent payments and thousands of dollars because I have to throw out all my items from the damage.
