I do not appreciate that I returned the car hauler the day after renting it and then 3 days later charged another $93 saying I returned it 3 days later. I want my money back

They wanted us the load the UHaul and then come back and attach the trailer. Our pick up location was moved by “ customer service†two days before we were scheduled to pick up. We wasted over an hour traveling to get it and not to mention going 40 miles out of our way in gas. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I didn't understand why your equipment could not have been moved to the location we wanted to pick it up at. We scheduled this a month in advance. Also, for some reason your staff decided we needed to change our drop off location. I guess so we would drive more miles and get changed for them. I took a lot of time to research what location would work best for us and both the pick up and drop off locations were changed by your company and I felt like I no choice to fight it since it was last minute that we were notified of this.

MICHAEL B.I had a pleasant experience with the uhaul service but their storage employees needs more training with customer service. We drove from California to Texas with the uhaul and was told we had a month free storage. The lady there was not helpful and being to get defensive when tried to tell her they messed up our reservation. We requested for two units one that was climate control and one that was not because they didn't have the size we needed. Once we got to the storage location we was told they didn't have the size we needed and they only had a few storage which one was climate control. Because it was two units we knew we had to pay for one because only one was free. We was told they only have one unit to give us and it was the smallest one they had. Tired from the long drive we ask is there another uhaul place that have a bigger unit. they gave us the name and address of a partner company which was storage depo. They said we could still get the month free and they have a bigger storage unit available so we didn't have to get two. Once we got to the storage depo we was told they don't work with uhaul at all and they don't honor the one month free. We also found out they put the wrong phone number on our account so storage depo couldn't call before we left the uhaul storage. Brandy at storage depo explained everything to us and she also said we was not the first person they did this to. Once we dropped the trailer off the worker there said they don't know why they would tell us to go to storage depo because they are their competition. This was the worst experience ever and very poor customer service.. I am leaving their address so if you go there or have went there please report it. No one should be treated like this. My reservation was cancelled and the only pick up was 50 miles outside of what I intended to drive. I was promised a rate and was over charged at check out. The guy at the front desk assisted as best he could, however im not sure what is coming out of my bank account. The entire experience was horrible. The woman over the phone stated I would get $50 for the inconvenience. I'm not sure when or if this is going to happen she did not send a confirmation. The entire experience was horrible!!

Maeva K.From 2014 until 2020 I have used this location 6 times. This the 7 was the worst service picking up and returning. Picking up assistant was talking to someone else and trying to wait on me HER CUSTOMER..... on return girl would not tell me how much was be charge on debt card. At pick up truck WAS NOT cleaned had less than 1/4 tank of gas but was returned with slightly less that full tank. Driver seat was broken. I will use someone else next time never this location. BTW I just used this location just in March 2022. Even the guys checking in truck was having problems with the ONE and ONLY GIRL waiting on customers. They said she was CLUELESS...got that right. I am well educated and 65 so I think I know crappy service when I get it. As of 6/18 still dont know how much I was charge. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Ashley O.I am very disappointed that the movers that I got from your website were dishonest about their charges and that U-Haul takes no responsibility for their listing. Spirit Moving Co., even though I told them when I contacted them that I wanted to move a piano, never mentioned that there would be an additional charge of $200 for moving the piano. Kenny never said anything about the additional charges until they had already loaded the piano on the trailer and wanted the code for the move like he was finished with the job without moving the piano to Benbrook, TX as requested. Then said he would meet me at my house to unload for $100, which was confusing because he didn't say “extra†or “plus the hourly feesâ€. He insisted that I pay him the $100 in cash, but couldn't give me a receipt. I feel that I was scammed by Kenny and I got no support from U-Haul, even though I hired them from your website thinking they were honest people. I think you should take more care to who you allow to solicit on your website to assure customers of fair upfront prices. I guess that I will have to take extra precautions in the future of those I may hire from your listings to insure they aren't cons.

When I returned my lock was cut off and a round lock I didn't own was on my storage. After going to the front desk. I was told only round locks could be used. I was not told then when I bought storage locker and lock at the same time. While moving my things into the storage locker. My card was not activated properly and I could not open the door to the storage grounds. I had to hold onto several very large objects over night and wait for the front desk to open in order to get my card fixed. When I asked the front desk person is there any thing I should know cause I was not told about the lock. He said nothing and I asked him I can come back any time. He confirmed that I can go to my storage locker anytime of day or night. I returned later that night only to find out that was not true. My unit was only available to me during working hours and I could not access it at night. I had to upgrade in order to get night time access. Every step of the way using this location was horrible and unfriendly. Only one person there was any type of help.

Jason M.First, my appt at 0900 turned into an hour and a half wait because the young man behind the counter like to chat about random things with every customer instead of just getting the job done. Next, the "manager" was so stressed out about everything because there was a mile long line and only two people scheduled to work that he thought it necessary to use vulgar language and kick things around behind the counter. I am a manager at the 3rd largest freight company in the country and I can tell you that I have been in very stressful situations however, the way the manager was acting yesterday made me want to kick him out of his own building and do his job for him. I felt sorry for the people waiting in line and for those that had already been helped. Maybe the manager needs some actual management training and possibly one more person on board to help on the weekends considering that the weekends are when most people want to move.....thanks

When I returned the truck, I spoke with someone at the counter to confirm and he didn't say anything - just went outside. He looked at the truck. Then he helped another customer with propane. So I went outside to ask if I was good to go and he said yes. Didn't understand why he kept me waiting inside. Second time here and another similar experience as the first. Just seems unorganized and unprofessional.
