Overall the drop off location was great. However, when I received a call asking why I was late on Tuesday afternoon (after dropping of units Monday morning and being assured by the two gentlemen work “that all is complete”) I could not recommend this location. Likely an oversight but a substantial one to me.

There was a minor mistake. The store recorded the gas as full tank. I didnt notice u til i got a bill but did look at the tank and it was half. no big deal. I was charged for 32 gallons of gas when we only drove 37 miles and had it for 5 hours and never let it run idle so absolutely no way the gas vs miles ads up. I called the office to explain the discrepancy expected a very simple correction to my bill and move on. they absolutely refused and blamed it on me for not checking the text i received. I got frustrated and my tone of voice certainly changed but i never said anything ugly just voiced my frustration and i got hung up on. I called back and got someone else and got same response blaming me and they would not refund and refused to address the concern at all. I asked to escalate to a manager they said my only option was calling 800-go uhaul. I did, waited 45 mins on hold and finally got someone and they were very nice and said they had to escalate to the store general manager and they would call me within 3 days. never heard from them and it has been over a week. absolutely unacceptable service and this remains unresolved. My next step is to go public kn google reviews and social media and I never do that and hate people who do but this has become so ridiculous I feel I have to bring this to the publics attention if uhaul doesnt solve this issue soon. its not about the money its about the principal of the matter that i was overcharged and then completely disrespected and then no one is dealing with it. one of the worst business experiences I have been a part of in a very long time. feel free to call me if you care to resolve. 512-734-7251 Dave

The truck had a low tire and I think it had a small leak. We had a lot of hard rain and I had 2 boxes get wet. Nothing in any of the boxes was leaking.

Camary the Assistant manager was amazing! She was so helpful when I dropped off the trailer and then the next day when I returned the truck! She was the highpoint of my move especailly after the disaster at the pickup. She provided amazing customer service! I really appreciate her!

The staff at the location were beyond amazing and made sure the customers understood the process of using and returning the equipment. Only change I would ask for is the online process for a question to be added on how man seats needed for the truck so customers can make a better selection on truck needed.

My name is Joe Petrocelli I rented 2 trucks from 10,125 North IH 35 Ausin Texas 78753. When I returned the trucks I parked them in the same area we picked them up from, this made it so I had to walk past the service bays were I saw the checkout area though the window. I went through the door from the service area into the retail area to turn in the keys and get checked out. This is when a completley satisfied customer gets scolded by the manager, he told me that was an employee entrance and I was not to use that door. I said I'm sorry I did not see the sign, he said, THERE IS NO SIGN AND I SHOULD HAVE GONE THOUGH AN OTHER DOOR I then said maybe you should put up a sign so customers would know not to use that door, he said I'M NOT PUTTING UP A SIGN. I asked to speak to the manager and he stated he was the manager About that time another customer came though that same door. He refused to give me any paper work when I asked again he said I would receive an email, this has to be my worst experiance I have ever had at any retail establishment. I need a phone call by somebody in upper management before I post this on Facebook 512-784-3414

Pickup was supposed to be 7AM, but the truck wasn't ready until 9AM. Even though I was standing outside the door, staff REFUSED to help me until 9AM. Customer service is a joke to on-site staff. Also, at pickup, the fuel gauge was on 1/4 of a tank full. Not knowing how much I needed to travel outside of Austin, I filled the tank... then I dropped it off FULL. Staff refused to even talk about the fact that I spent over $60 on gas for y'all's truck. Customer Service is a concept completely foreign to your staff.

Online booking showed mobile pickup was available. So I scheduled for 9 PM pickup. Received call at 7 PM that mobile pickup was not available. Had to wait till 9 AM next day for pickup. Ruined my plans and had to reschedule everything with my customer. Also, staff working there did not know that the Safemove plus insurance was quoted to me for $56 online, they kept on insisting it was not so and the correct price is $84. Not well trained staff.

This was the second place i had to call uhaul to find to drop off on a count of the place i was originally supposed to drop off was also closed early... with no phone number. Overall terrible experience... atleast Rhonda was very helpful on the phone helping me thru all this. Also glad the equipment worked

Make reservations mean something. I reserved a truck a week in advance and then planned my move (a major life event) with the generous help of friends whose time I booked in advance. Two days before my reservation I received an email stating my reservation had changed based on truck availability to a different location and for almost 4 hours later than the original time. Despite the inconvenience of losing almost half a day of moving time, I understood the nature of Uhaul's business model and was happy to roll with the punches. When I finally went to to the Uhaul location to pick up the truck, I was told there were no trucks available there, and my only alternative was to sprint over to a location almost 30 minutes away for a truck that was 15 feet instead of 26'. There were also no furniture pads available at either location so that was removed from my reservation. Uhaul let me down every step of the way with this move. An unbelievably bad experience. I will never use them again.

Only one of the employees was working hard and fast to support the customers in the store. The others were not making a very strong effort. Long wait times to check out the vehicle. Did not actually get the vehicle for the full time as they checked it out so late. Did not do a good job communicating. The vehicle itself had very soft brakes and I wasn't able to adjust the seat to a safe/comfortable position to drive. Worst experience I ever had with UHaul. Less likely to ever rent from UHaul, definitely would not recommend it to others.

The lady who checked me in was not the most polite. She was very robotic and did not have a lot of compassion. I simply wanted to confirm the closing time and she responded “we close at 7. We cannot change anything with this reservation. You are to return this by 5. If you do not return by 5 you will be charged a $400 late drop off fee” The question was to confirm closing time. Not to get “read” fine print in a contract. She was the weakest link.

Extremely poor service at this location. I think the staff was drunk. She was not able to stay still and constantly laughed and joked with other staff members. Instead of assisting the customers, they were in inappropriate behaviors in front of the customers. When I return the trailer, the staff told me I will receive an email. However, I did not. The next day, I went to the store and found out that the staff never checked in my trailer. It was a horrible experience.

They never checked my vehicle I rented back in, don't answer the phones, called corporate and they couldn't even get ahold of them. I had to waist my time and effort to go the next day after trying to call getting ahold of corporate and they couldn't get anyone to answer at the store. I should be refunded my charges and compensated for my waisted time and effort or just sue. Them not checking my vehicle back in was a breach of contract.

If you know that most people move at the end of the month, have an extra cashier around near the end of the month. Is your competition that fierce that you can't raise prices enough to cover an extra hand? The better reviews from better customer service would likely bring in enough business to cover it. That said, the benefit of using the Uhaul was still well worth the price I paid.

Terrible experience! When I got to the Uhaul facility where I made my reservation, they told me my unit was no longer available. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A RESERVATION SYSTEM IF THE ONLINE RESERVATION IS NOT HONORED! I am lucky they were able to help me find another unit nearby although I am now paying more than I had initially intended to for a unit of the same size. Great staff, terrible reservation system. I am never recommending a uhaul storage unit to anyone and will never use uhaul storage or anything uhaul again. Moving is already a stressful experience, and finding out that the unit you reserved is no longer available when all your furniture is a truck in the parking lot is even more stressful . Awful, irresponsible, and unbelievably unreliable.

The tornado experience was horrible and sad. We had 3 unit's effected, but the staff was great about helping with the clean out/ damage. Staff has always been nice and helpful is why we have dealt with UHaul from day one! We are a UHaul customer for life! They accommodate us well with all our needs!
