An associate directed us where to drop off our truck, but shortly aftewards we were chastised by another employee on the where we intended to drop it off, despite only doing as previously directed. Perhaps the location should make it more clear to customera where to exactly drop off their rentals, especially size the 24/7 drop off service is supposed to be convenient.

John H.Incentivize better treatment of the customers. Several employees are angry and stressed and appear to hate their job. One guy kicked me out of a truck very rudely when your system double booked a vehicle. Another guy was clearly extremely angry about something and wouldn't talk to me or make eye contact with me when I dropped the truck off. Very strange experience.
Joshua K.Be sure to get a reservation that is marked "Guaranteed" on the web site. I have to get this reservation last minute as my previous one was cancelled 8PM the day before a 7AM pickup. U-Haul needs to remove the word "reservation" if it isn't guaranteed, otherwise what is the point of a reservation.

The last one to pick up told me that they all did that because no one wanted to break the bad news that they didn't have my truck in stock I had reserved. It was a waste of time and extremely frustrating.

Brad B.The gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful. I was supposed to drop the trailer off at a different location about 10 mins away, but happened to see this location in route. I was not familiar with the area when I selected it during my reservation. The man checked to make sure I wouldn't be charged a different drop off location fee and it was as simple as him unhooking the trailer, peeking inside the trailer so I didn't forget anything, and saying, "You're good to go!". I received a confirmation email within a few minutes. It was so easy! Thank you kind sir!

Ceci H.I stayed parked in the 'Return Equipment' area for a while and no one came to unhook the trailer. I went in and the 2 guys were taking to a customer and did not greet me or say anything. And they were there talking to each other and then the one guy kept staring at me. When I asked 'how much longer to get my trailer unhooked', the guy looked at me and did not care to help or do anything. Also I dropped off the trailer at the correct location as per my reservation, however I received a call from another location asking about the trailer!!! I am not sure how that got confused and I ended up having to call U-Haul and when I could not talk to anyone I used the chat feature to get the issue resolved l, after spending over an hour on the phone and I could not talk to a person on the phone Everything was good with the pick up, but when I dropped off at that Round Round Rock location l, it was a very poor customer service.

Rodney J.I purchased boxes and packing tape and was not given them. And was told because booked at another location they could not refund the amount. I was transfered to another location because the original location I booked at was closed for 4th of July
Patricia D.My reservation changed, and even to the employee's recognition I was NEVER contacted about it. So I showed up at 9am to pick up at the location specified in my contract, only to be told it was about 30 minutes away, at a different location, and not available until 10:30a.m. I had movers arriving at 9:30a.m. So, by the time I drove the hour round trip (additional miles over the original contract) and the time it took to actually check out the truck and trailer, I had already paid for an hour and a half of movers to sit there. All I got from the local stores were "Whoopsie, nothing we can do." When I someone gave me the number to the dispatch line, I was told all I could get was $50 off and a few additional miles. Meanwhile, I paid roughly the cost of the truck in movers' time for something they never allowed me to plan for. I have used Uhaul for many many moves, but this was enough to get me to look at Penske or Budget the next time I need to move.
JEFFREY H.Paid for climate control. When we arrived the a/c was not working. Manager acted like he did not know anything about it and avoided engaging us. The unit was in front of the window in 104 degree weather with no a/c on. There was a wall light by the window that I did not see. I inadvertently leaned up against the light which was blistering hot and it burned the back of my arm. When I told this manager he said he had no idea what light I was talking about and again ignored me. Very poorly run facility indicative of this managers attitude.

Christopher C.For the most part I love this rental location. Unfortunately this last time there was one employee that was really rude. He told me that very impolitely that I needed to move my car which was blocking his way for relocating a truck. When I asked him if he always talked to customers in this way he proceeded to give me a lecture on where I should and shouldn't park. When I responded that I didn't need this he seemed to be unconcerned (and perhaps welcoming) that I would take my business elsewhere. Fortunately for the rest of my trailer rental I was able to interact with one of the decent workers that helped me get my vehicle connected to my trailer. BUT then at the end he was walking through the lot towards some other trucks with hims arms outstretched acting like he wanted to block my exit. Fortunately there was a lot of room for me to be able to pass him with a wide berth, but as I did he yelled at me something to the effect that "wasn't I going to hit him?". I've been a long time customer of this facility and up until this incident I've really enjoyed interacting with the employees there. I do hope that this employee will learn how to do so in the future because, if he stops and thinks about it, that is really where his paycheck comes from.

I had reserved a 10 x 15 I was told I could have 3 10 x 5s which is not the same. That's not the surprise you want when you were going to be moving in a week. I think U-Haul could do a better job with the reservations. I tried to complete my reservation online and it would not let me so I had to go into the office location. It all worked out though I was able to get the 10 x 15 but it was not until I was checking out did the attendant notice that there was one 10 x 15 available.

It's fine if you've rented a large truck but the smaller trucks and trailers need to use the narrow ramp to get into the building.

Joel R. | Overall ExperienceThere was some confusion about the dimensions of the unit. It was tall when I assumed it was long. The staff was helpful in changing me to a different size that better met our needs. Unfortunately, moving a large piece of furniture into the unit was difficult based on the hallway size and needing to turn several corners. My husband and I were able to manage it, but it was more complicated than imagined. The handcarts would have been very helpful if we had been able to to turn corners with them and the furniture. Again, our issue, but something for others to consider when accepting a unit. We utilized a shoulder dolly system (one we own, but are available for sale in the check-out area) and that was far more helpful.

Having to put up with very long hold time with the call center is a very negative experience and is what I will also tell anyone who asks. All staff needs is for a person to have a portable phone with them. This would enhance the customer experience. I suggest you call your local facility and time how long it takes to speak with someone at that location.
