The truck had an issue with Engine Hot air leaking into the cab. It was between 135-150 degrees in the cab for 20 hours (with windows down and amAC on. The customer service was horrendous â€"Train your people to say “Hi, good afternoon we will be right with you” or something. Overall customer service was lacking It took an hour for me to rent a trailer. An entire hour. Wow. The line kept getting longer and longer and I had to encourage my peers to be patient. And this is after waiting 30 minutes just to talk to someone. Never again will I waste my time with this immature and disorganized location. ..

No issues. They hooked up the trailer for me and checked the lights to make sure they all worked, as I was taking the trailer to Ohio to move my daughter into college.

I had made the reservation online, and when I picked up the vehicle I was asked to provide all my information, scan drivers license and payment information all over again. This took a considerable amount of time, thus I understand why the need of providing detailed information when doing the reservation online? The vehicle's gas gauge displayed “Full” when I received it, however, despite driving only 16.5 miles when I topped off the tank before returning the truck, it took 3.281 Gallons. When I reported this to the employee, I was told that I probably had “idled”the engine while loading the truck. Evidently, the vehicles gauge was defective.

I was called by a manager asking when I would return the truck a day after I had already returned it. I returned the truck the same day I rented it, after just a few hours of use! I was then charged for an extra day, even tho I returned it on time. This is unacceptable.

Overall the process was pretty good. Only incident was during the initial pickup and movers.. never received pickup location and when they movers were supposed to pick up boxes they were unavailable... No communication between Uhaul and myself prior to initial delivery day.

Trailer was dirty it looked like the previous person used it to move dirt and didn't clean it out. The uhaul location didn't have the furniture dollies or pads that I requested. The guy working the desk said he would put a note in my account to have them removed from the rental contract. He never removed them so when I turned the trailer in I was charged for not returning the dollies and pads. I had to take time out of an already busy day and drive 20 minutes out of my way to the uhaul rental location to get this fixed. Luckily the guy who rented me the trailer was working and was able to verify that I never took possession of the equipment.

For our reservation #20198611, I went to pickup at 20607 FM RD 685 based on the U-Haul order but was then told the reservation was moved 15 miles at another location. I was informed that U-haul was supposed to have called and informed us of this change but we received no phone call. So I went to location on Round Rock Ave(620) to pickup trailer. We completed the paperwork and connected the trailer and I then spent about 5-10 mins taking photos for my evidence of the previous damage of the trailer which I thought used to be done by your agents. After finishing taking photos of the external parts of the trailer (which has major repairs on the front of the trailer) and checked to see if the inside of the trailer was clean. Unfortunately, to my dismay the trailer had black mold growing on the front ceiling of the trailer and cover over 6 feet of the ceiling. I went back into the office and informed Joel that trailer need to be replaced due to the black mold and he proceeded to give major attitude and all other trailers were reserved. After demanding to get another trailer (3 more on the lot), Kiki reprocessed the paperwork for the new trailer and William assisted by having the new trailer connected and ready for use. Both Kiki and William were very helpful and professional. They should be given appreciation since they handled an unhappy customer with the upmost respect and professionalism. Joel was tired, unfocused, distracted and very unprofessional.

She deserves a raise! ;) -The truck had clearly been damaged prior to my rent, but that was noted and explained. Nevertheless, it drove flawlessly!! And the young lady who assisted me upon returning the truck deserves a Gold Star!! She was Very Customer Friendly and Knowledgeable. Made that process a breeze!! The service at the locations was great and the equipment performed well. Hauled a houseful of furniture and towed 2 vehicles almost 1400 miles. Logistics surrounding pick up and drop off were horrible. Pick up location was changed via email the day before by uhaul to a location 40+ miles out of my way. Drop off was even more of a mess. I rented a 26' truck and two flatbed car haulers in one phone call and asked to be charged for an extra day. At drop off they scheduled the 3 pieces of equipment to be dropped off over 3 separate days at 2 different locations... how in the world does someone do that? For $7000 I'd expect more competent logistics at both ends. It was a disaster. Thankfully the people at the locations were pleasant to deal with and ultimately I got refunded the extra charges incurred and got the drop off locations changed but it took a few phone calls and a couple of trips to the drop of location to get it all done.

Found the tires were literally slick on the trailer after leaving the site. Returned for help and an employee verbally attacked me and threaten bodily harm with a hitch attachment. I remained calm but the employee continued to escalate screaming at me and approaching closer with the hitch. Telling me I couldn't "make him work" to help get safe equipment. I chose to leave the building because was in fear of being harmed. Another employee followed and ended up swapping trailers. I filed a complaint with Uhaul corporate. Avoid this location if at all possible.

Having carts to help move is the best ever. Clean and safe storage. Easy move out procedure. You could use another ramp to move from the truck to storage units. It's fine if you've rented a large truck but the smaller trucks and trailers need to use the narrow ramp to get into the building.

I've used uhaul for moving and storage over the past 2 years. They are very easy to work with and in my opinion facilities for storage are way better than the rest (especially in Manchester nh). I had some difficulties with public storage in the same town. I have been completely satisfied with u-haul vehicles and storage in Manchester, NH, and round rock tx.

There was some confusion about the dimensions of the unit. It was tall when I assumed it was long. The staff was helpful in changing me to a different size that better met our needs. Unfortunately, moving a large piece of furniture into the unit was difficult based on the hallway size and needing to turn several corners. My husband and I were able to manage it, but it was more complicated than imagined. The handcarts would have been very helpful if we had been able to to turn corners with them and the furniture. Again, our issue, but something for others to consider when accepting a unit. We utilized a shoulder dolly system (one we own, but are available for sale in the check-out area) and that was far more helpful.

I needed to store my belongings for a while and UHaul storage had great options and when I needed to downsize the storage unit, it was easy. I was pleased with the storage unit - especially for having temperature control options. Also offered pest control, so I knew my belongings were safe while I had them in storage. The location I chose was convenient and the staff was professional and polite whenever I needed to communicate with them.

If I gave you five stars it would leave you nothing to improve on. The only complaint I could have is the amount of time I had to stand in line before speaking with a representative. You all are rockstars and keep doing what you're doing because your killing it! The staff here is friendly, positive, and super courteous! Thank you for such incredible service!

Staff must be able to answer phone calls. Having to put up with very long hold time with the call center is a very negative experience and is what I will also tell anyone who asks. All staff needs is for a person to have a portable phone with them. This would enhance the customer experience. I suggest you call your local facility and time how long it takes to speak with someone at that location.
