Have explicit dimensions of your trailers available. I asked if the 5x9 was 60" wide inside the gate and got a yes. It's actually 56" wide which did no good for my 58" wide item. For reference, your 6x12 is actually 6' 4" wide. I know they must vary but perhasp the correct answer when someone asks is "They vary, it's close to the dimensions, we'd have to measure the actual trailer."

Not enough staff....at pick up 9:30 there was one worker to do everything,,,,too much for only one person. I was second in line and waited over 15 mins. This is no good. My time is worth something too . The drop off was smoother but still took long ....a second person is definitely needed . Otherwise the worker was fine.

Thank you for the rental . everything was good except that all our boxes on floor and side of our mattress and box spring got wet .due to the trailer leaking and allowing water to get inside .this is why I rented a enclosed trailer to keep my belongings dry. I did return the trailer early and would of thought I would have gotten a half day rental off the price of rental due to the inconvenience of my belongings getting wet , and the right blinker was not working either . All my fuses were good after checking so was not on my end . This is not my first rental and will not be my last . But I think some sort of discount should have been giving for my stuff getting wet and blinker being out on trailer .

I rented a U-Haul on Saturday, January 18 2020 at the 244 Erie Blvd E, Rome, NY location. When I arrived at the store I stood around for 25 minutes without a worker in sight. I began walking around screaming “HELLO”, to no avail. There was a placard on the window stating to call the manager for any issues (picture provided). When I called Samantha, I said “Hi, is this Samantha?” To which she replied “I don’t have time for this, I’m not dealing with this shit.” and hung up on me. I proceeded to wait and called the other number on the card. I understand it’s the weekend and my message was very quiet and rushed so he probably did not get it as of yet. After 20 minutes of waiting altogether finally two guys come in and ignore my existence until I come up to the counter, to which they proceeded to ignore me until I stated I rented a uhaul. We get through the registration process and he hands me my key. I go out to the uhaul and there is a thick layer of ice on the windshield, no ice scraper was provided and both men inside refused to help. I wasted all of the windshield washer fluid and some gas sitting there for another 20 minutes waiting for this to defrost. It was evident this hadn’t been cleared off all day. When returning the UHaul, the parking lot hadn’t been plowed AT ALL. Uhaul is notorious for handling terrible in the snow. Needless to say the uhaul got stuck half in the Blvd and half in the unplowed parking lot. When my mother went in to see if someone could help it was the same story, nobody in sight. She began running though the entire building, into the break room etc to find someone. Nobody in the entire building. Finally one guy comes in to help, and states “ya the plow just did that to our entrance way.” The plow did not do this as the other worker had another u-haul stuck right outside the doorway to the building. He got it unstuck and came back in. This experience was terrible and it honestly makes me want to never rent another uhaul again. The store could have been robbed with neither worker in there, the store manager was rude on the phone, why have your number posted if you’re just going to hang up on customers? I reached out to u-haul support on Twitter with no response back.

This facility has THE BEST STAFF of any uhaul location I've ever had the opportunity of visiting . Don't think I've ever been as impressed with any business employees as I was with this facility .POLITE ,COURTEOUS ,AND ABSOLUTELY TOP OF THE LINE HELP FROM START TO FINISH.

The truck was bucking while going down route 49 and the traction doesn't work. The app needs to be updated because I returned my truck at 10:20 pm and my truck was due at 11 pm and I'm being overcharged for the truck being late when it wasn't late

Horrible service at Rome location. Had an employee tell me they aren't gonna sit there and argue with me. Got hung up on. Failed to tell me I had to return the truck to Rome location. Truck costed 80 dollars more than quoted because I had to drive and empty truck 40 miles back to rome to return it and have to pay 99 cents a mile plus gas. I told them it was an out of town move and they still put it as in town. I returned the truck with a half tank of gas as I was instructed and was still charged 17$ for gas. I will never use uhaul for moving again. Id rather do it with a little red wagon.

Let a customer know in advance if a truck not back in time to be picked up. One person being late can effect how long you reserve your van for, it happened to me but the representatives in the Rome store were great

Only because who ever process my return double charged my card and Now put me in a bond by having to wait for a refund which can take up to 5 days . I brought the truck back before time everything was in tact gas, mileage and everything I shouldn’t have been charge for another day then once call to get it corrected I have to wait 3-5 business days for my refund which should have never happened in the first place

The guy spelled my last name wrong even after I spelled it out for him. (My last name is Libby) The Mileage rates are absolutely absurd. Reading $19.99 in really big print and having plus mileage rates in fine print, plus gas, plus "environmental fee", plus all the other fees, is highway robbery. I drove to Uhaul expecting to pay $20-$40 for a Uhaul for the day, not $70 for a Uhaul for 6 hours. I didn't even finish getting all my stuff. Not to mention the lack of a ramp for the cargo area. I thought all Uhauls had 3 row bench seating and a ramp. I'm overall extremely disappointed in my entire experience.

The drop off online method wasn’t what I expected. I thought I could simply take a photo and save it to my camera roll and then process the mileage, and be done with it but it wasn’t like that at all. I didn’t realize I had to take the photo while using it. Needless to say I had already put the key in the box once I realized this and now I’m sure I will be charged more because I didn’t follow the instructions. It was late and I was exhausted from moving otherwise I am sure it is a simple process. It’s just really inconvenient for the customer.
