I say above average b/c your phone system failed to work on several attempts to talk to someone . Many billing errors. I want to say excellent service provided by Jill , you gave an excellent communication with her, she should seriously get bonus, and she should be your trouble shooter with problems and teaching staff the proper steps to help clients, Honestly I was never able to use facility but could not get through. I was to pick up truck at 1:30 at the location on W Baskin but they closed at 12:00. After calling the number the. 800 number I was waiting at That location for 45 minutes then found and called the Heskell location and found they had a truck for me and finally spoke to the 800 number and they were able to transfer reservations. I never received anything on how to get truck after hours as explained by the representative from the 800 number. It was also 23 miles more the the original estimate. This whole process was very complicated except for the staff at the Heskell location weee very professional 1 hour of my time was wasted for lack of communication from the original pickup locationJoseph N.

My initial experience started at a neighorhood Uhaul center about 3 miles from my house. They didn't have a pickup truck and a 5x9 open landscape ramp trailer. WRONGLY I had figured Uhaul could deliver these items to this location. I got an online confirmation that these items were available at another nearby location. I went there and the rep. said he had neither item and he had NOT received any notice of this. Also he said "I haven't had a pickup in a year." So I went to a dealer in Rock Hill, SC, about 30 miles away. That rep said pickups are essentially non-existant because they get stolen, but he could put me in a 10' box truck and also the trailer. I reserved them for the following early afternoon. I mentioned to him as to why Uhaul didn't put tracking items in the trucks so they would know exactly where a missing vehicle was and have the renter arrested. He said "they just want the vehicle back, that's all." He said "I sell tracking items." He was located at the Anderson Rd. dealership in Rock Hill, SC. So that evening I got a call from Uhaul stating that the items which I wanted were available at the Heckel Blvd. location in Rock Hill, SC. I was leary since I'd been bounced around so much by Uhaul, but told the lady OK, put me down for it. When I showed up a 30 min. before my reservered time, the Uhaul rep. named Jill, said she had a pickup which she could put me in and the exact trailer rather than useing a 10' box truck, I said "yes." Jill said the truck had a strong smoke smell in it when it came in and that they had worked hard to eliminate that, but I might still smell some of it. I said that I could live with that. (I'm a non-smoker) and I didn't smell anything. Jill saved me some money and I got the units I had been trying to get, so all was good and the truck got very good gas mileage and drove very well. I might mention here that I had taught driving for 40 years, so was pleased that the vehicle was super clean and easy to drive. I just wish that Uhaul had their act together a little better, so I wouldn't have had to go all over the place to get what I wanted to rent. Your agent Jill, at Heckel Blvd. Rock Hill, SC location is a "people person" and knows her products. She deserves a raise. Don't lose her. William WhiteWILLIAM W.

Please clean the vehicle. It was so nasty I literally had to take it home and clean the inside out. There was mud every where all inside and out. Iv never rented a vehicle in this shape. I could understand missing a spot or over looking an area. But this vehicle was filthy. And hasn't not been serviced,, because the change oil light flashed the whole time.. not allowing u to see the digital speedometer. But could still see analog thank goodness.. Overall very nice and new vehicle. Just wished it had been maintained and CLEANED! Very nice staff. Store was super clean. And parking lot was aswell.Joshua H.

Came to pick up my truck scheduled appointment at 4:30 & the lady couldn't get it to work on the computer I waited for more than and hour are so with a ride also waiting. And still have to reschedule and & return the next day. The lady on Sunday said she would credit my card for 50.00 but I haven't seen that. Also on my truck had dash lights on one saying tires are low and the other was say I was pulling a trailer. I ask the man why and he says no worries I always does that.regina G.
Our truck was clean but the air in the back tire was very low and we had to come by the location before we could go to new address. The truck was leaning and it was a little hard to drive. It was a 26 foot truck fully loaded. We got to the location and they helped us immediately and we got on the road. This was the second truck we got that had 180,000 miles on it. The first was not a good experience but this one was much better since it was just air for the tire.Malcolm D.

I was given the wrong truck and only found out while filling up the tank for $127. a text came to me saying make sure you have the truck with this license plate and of course my truck was totally different. luckily I was only about a half a mile away from the place. seems like something that should be checked by the owner of the uhaul place not the customer.william H.

The wait time in the 800# was long, then I was transferred and had to wait another 10 mins before finding out they could not help me. Next customer won't be me. Brakes pulsated, were noisy and were slow to react when applied. I had trouble with the truck I rented a month prior for a long haul. That one dog tracked so bad the steering wheel blocked the view of the speedometer. Both times the trucks were fully loaded and enroute when discovered. The facility is clean and well lit but I cannot say it’s secure. One of the customer areas in the unloading garage is full of equipment. The garage area is also not secure. One of tbe doors to the garage can be opened from the outside and the sliding door from the garage to facility is broken so you can access the facility without a key card or door code. Everyone at this facility were helpful when I moved in. Moving out was easy on my phone. However, I guess I should have read the fine print more closely because U-Haul will NOT refund and partial month not used. I went ahead and let my rental renew assuming I would be refunded whatever portion of the month was remaining when I moved out like many services do. This is not the case. According to their support personnel, is not U-Haul policy to refund any part of the rent regardless of move out date.WILLIAM G. | Overall Experience
