I don't remember the name of the guy that checked in my equipment but he we very friendly and helpful. I waited in line and listened to the customer in front of me be rude and thought the way he was treated from the previous customer could impact my experience. I wish he I could remember is name because he was so nice. It was like the other customer was never in the building he just moved on to the next customer (me) with professionalism, friendly attitude and was very helpful. It worked out good using the rental truck but when we needed to have a truck moved only 5 or 6 feet we had to sit and wait in our car for a good thirty minutes just a little more hustling to help out customers would do a lot for the company.Dan T.

The 15 ft vehicle rental fuel mileage was in the 7-8 mpg for the trip with auto trailer carrying 1987 Jeep and 80% capacity of storage. The tow haul button was used as instructed. The fuel cost was $450 for the 950 miles.John P.

I dropped off the trailer at 9:30 am on Friday 8/5/2022, and was told to leave it by two different U-Haul employees, that they would check it in and e-mail a receipt. Friday afternoon, 7 hours later, no receipt. I drove across town and completed a self-check-in at 4pm. Today, Sunday 8/7/2022, I have yet to receive any acknowledgement or receipt for the return of the trailer. Pretty appalling lack of service.Thomas M.

There wasn't anything wrong with this location, just uhaul in general. My truck got cancelled on me several times and yalls customer service is shit. It makes me sad. I've done business with Uhual for 20 years. How you treat your customers tells me a lot about uhaul. I'll be buying my own truck moving forward so I don't have to rely on this company ever again. 1. You had a problem getting the Truck returned from the previous customer on July 4th so it was not ready that eventing. Your staff was very helpful in texting and calling me to keep me up to date and kept me from making a wasted trip to pick up on the 4th. I picked it up on the 5th with your staff. 2. On the 5th I had trouble picking up the truck using the App and the Lock box. Instructions not clear and QR code near lock bock did not scan to the app. Since it was normal business hours I just had to wait awhile for other customers to get their vehicles.Michael B.

Spoke to Sean on phone about returning trailer, needed to get a storage unit to empty trailer first, he said he had 5x10 units only two left, I said I would take one. He said he had all the info he needed from the trailer reservation, asked if I wanted to use the same credit card, I said yes, he said I was all set. Came in the next day, they said they didn't have a storage unit reserved for me and didn't have any 5x10 units left. I can't say enough about Uhaul in Boise, Idaho and Rapid City, South Dakota. I had an issue causing my one way move be delayed by several days in Boise. They locked up for me and I was able to go locate the truck and simply go about my trip. I was so worried but all was well and no extra fees. I was booking online and had a question on the RV storage size Large 13' x 33' x 99'. I wanted to know if this area was large enough for my 33 ft bumper pull travel trailer. I called the location and no one ever answered the phone at the location. I used the chat feature on U-haul and your rep had a difficult time getting an answer. The "manager" told your rep that space was large enough. So we hauled our trailer from our hometown of Watford City, ND to Rapid City, SD only to be told that storage spot is not large enough. I was unaware that U-Haul would not prorate my month of storage. I've been quarantined twice and was able to get my last six boxes out five days into the new month, leaving 25 days unused. I was doing the responsible thing and staying in for the safety of your staff and other customers and now I have to pay for 25 days of unused time. This is absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever seen. I am now paying for something I don't have access to as I've given my key back and you will re-rent and get more money for, essentially double dipping. I have moved with you twice this year alone not to mention at least 10 moves in the last 20 years, it is so frustrating to see that my $72 is worth more to you than a long time loyal customer, not to mention doing the right thing during a global pandemic. The physical location and staff were convenient and great. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately, the outdoor storage option failed to fit the website's description and our needs. Access was limited to store hours only. U-Haul employees locked and unlocked the gate each morning and night. Tenants did not has afterhours access or the extended our similar to indoor storage.. Our 33 feet of space was limited by storage crates placed between the building and the rented lot space. The outdoor storage setup is definitely more ideal for a passenger vehicle over a RV or trailer. The owner does offer a military discount of 10%, which is nice. Overall, above average experience. So my experience was great in terms of customer service. The facilities are clean. However why in the heck is there a support beam in the middle of the hallway blocking my unit? It definitely was a hindrance. I worried about scratching or ruining my larger belongings. Very inconvenient. And despite everything else being great, this really ruined the experience.
