DION SThe truck has issues with its wheel. It vibrates when driven over 45 mph. Maintenance is necessary. I was nauseated by the overwhelming smell of marijuana in this vehicle. I drove with the windows down as much as possible. Unfortunately, I obtained a contact high from the strong smell. It triggered a migraine.

martha l | Overall ExperienceI had reserved a truck and an appliance dolly through customer service. Upon arriving at the scheduled pickup time, I was informed that the appliance dolly was unavailable. I was directed to two alternative locations; however, at the first location, the dolly was also unavailable. Attempts to contact both stores by phone prior to my arrival were unsuccessful. After spending two hours without securing the necessary equipment, I returned the truck, as the appliance dolly was essential for moving my appliances. Once I return the truck, I was charged $38 for moving the truck off the lot and I'm just like I didn't even get to use not even 5 miles on the truck. I was trying to get a $50 guaranteed for the inconvenience of the truck, not having the appliance dolly, which made it a big deal include it, but make this more professional.

RODNEY LI started looking for a one way uhaul trailer at the 5315 Summer Ave Memphis Tn location 38122. I was told they do not rent one way trailers at their location. After 2 hours searching in Memphis I finally found a uhaul that could. I was told all uhaul locations can rent trailers one way. Very confused and livid. This location had 10 plus trailers. What a horrible location. You need a new crew dedicated to customer service and honest people. I finally got help at Austin Peay uhaul location. .
JAMY LThis location needs more appliances and/or hand dollies. What's the point of having a truck that you can't load because the 2-wheeler hand dollies are missing? The manager was nice enough to find one for me. A location of this size with massive storage should have an abundance of these for their customers. Especially since I reserved it months in advance.

Someone with storage near me must have stored food and attracted rats: I arrived one day to find rat poison in my space (& I did not store any food). Overall a really good experience and I would use this site again if needed.

I was told they are on sensor so I walked all around and the lights on my row did not work. I have rented this unit since 2020 taking my flashlight when accessing.

DIANA MYour employee Ms. Q. Westbee (not too sure if the spelling of her name is correct) should in no way be an employee within the U-Haul company. Her customer interaction skills and attitude are the absolute worst, under no condition would I ever use this location again. And the person whom I was told is the location's manager a Mr. Ted Crawford should be at the least relieved of his position.as a supervisor for allowing this kind behavior from one of his employees, especially in his presence. If this the norm for this location, U-Haul bucks as a company open to the public!

SELEISA JA need for professionalism and better customer service. Truck maintenance. Making sure the trucks and pull down doors are in working order. Also there weren't any dolly's available in which I preordered however when I got there first thing in the morning wasn't available. I had to go to another location on Watkins st to get a dolly. Watkins location also extended my rental time for my inconvenience. Great job to those guys! The truck I received pull down door got off track and which made my experience a waste of money and I was not able to finish my move. I called roadside assistance waited over 1 hr for a replacement which never showed. Called back and was told no one would be coming. Had to unload everything out the truck and drive with back door open to the Austin Peay location for drop off which was closed after this incident happened. Worst experience ever and will not be returning or referring business to that location.

JOYCE WI had my possessions stored here for over two years. I originally had 3 units, although I cleaned out 2 over a year ago. Those 2 were indoor storage units. On more than one occasion, I saw roaches casually roaming the floors. My last unit, outside, was better. That was until the ground/asphalt was torn up near it and a layer of thick dust settled over everything I had stored. I will also add that my rate went up over 10% from the time when I first got the unit. A bit excessive considering it's just a box with an alarm attached to it.

Janice CMe and my family moved to Tennessee from Louisiana.We had to put our house in storage for a few weeks that turned to a month. We took advantage of one month free when moving from outta town. It was well kept, they have carts to get your things back and forth. If I needed a storage again it would be with them for sure. Did everything online and it was ready for me when we got there.

CARL RI submitted payment information when I rented my uhual. They never sent the charges through and it set pending for awhile on my card. Almost 2 months later they contact me wanting payment because they didn't send it through properly in the first place and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience they threaten me with a late payment fee.
Donald SThe sun visor was broken I couldn't find the truck but a nice worker found it and brought it up to the front. This place had really upgraded their customer service. This is my go to U Haul.
Crystalyn SThe young lady name Quinika W. from the Austin Peay location was not a friendly representation for this location she was rude when she talked with me when I asked questions. Her delivery in her tone and energy was as if she wasn't having a good day. I had an online reservation and the item (dolly) that I needed wasn't available and I asked why when I reserved it for my move she was rude with her response as well. I wouldnt recommend her being a customer service representative at no front desk due to her attitude.

Now I have to wait several days with banking problems and so forth. No one has any answers for me. Yes, I'm, we're so sorry. That's not good enough in this day and time. Be careful running therey often pee. They're very sloppy and the manager t** is awful. He doesn't know how to talk to you very unpleasant man. And I think he's living an awful life.

CEDRIC BThe truck I was assigned was horrible. Hard to switch gears, barely and roughly accelerated, brakes are proof the truck needs to be salvaged to the nearest junk yard. Uhual should be ashamed to rent that truck thing out let alone of themselves for renting the truck out. Very disappointed, made a complaint to a young girl who clearly hasn't had a license for long just for her to say nothing was wrong with it after pointing out things that were also bad and not noticed but tried to use to blame for the issue being to her attention. Good confirmation that's she's just an employee on payroll with not a lick of knowledge on those type of vehicles. Overall, I don't think I will refer to uhual anymore. I've had pickups that were badly damaged several times from this location so it wasn't a surprise just appalled these things are still being used to make money in the condition they're in.

RAE GI Scheduled a move-out date in August to give ample notice of the move out not realizing that we wound be removed from the system before we could get all of our property moved out We paid for the month of August but were totally deleted from the system on August 19. I attempted to contact the manager and received no response. Needless to say, we won't use this facility again nor would we recommend it to anyone.
