I am unhappy with U-Haul. March 22nd reserved truck for 9am pick-up in Canon City for April 28th, which would have been about 10 miles from me. 2 days before pickup I was told it would not be available until 3pm. I had already scheduled a crew for 10am to load and unload my belonging. Because I needed a truck for 9am, I had to drive 40 miles to pick one up plus the drive to return it.

The 10' truck was excellent. Driving instruction for managing truck was very good. Store only gives customer 3/8 tank of gas; it should be a full tank of gas. I spent $80 to fill tank (over the 3/8), only used 5 gallons so lost money on gas.

We were given a truck that stalled out sever times on our drive just back to our house. We got what we thought the issue was fixed. Then the next day on our driving day it stalled out 7x on our 30 minute drive. We were told to take it to a shop and they will fix it. We spent 2 hours there getting the “issue” fixed and then started driving again only to make it 5 minutes down the road before having to take it back to the shop. The issue was then unfixable. At this point we had been dealing with this for 6 hours and without being responded to in a decent amount of time we had to find a new truck elsewhere extremely last minute. Overall a very terrible experience and I still had to pay miles for a truck that did not work.

I made reservations on the website that were confirmed by the website. 2 days before the move i was called with an offer of smaller options and relocation. Which set me back a week. I made a reservation for the next weekend instead with a bigger truck. Again a call 2 days before the move to tell me you could not deliver and once again a smaller option, and, you wanted me to drive 60 miles out of the way in the mountains to pick it up. I am completely disgusted with your inability to keep up with your inventory or follow through with the promises you make. I will do everything to avoid using your company again. And when i told this to a couple of my friends, they said they had similar experiences.

The check in process was a bit intense for a trailer, that is having to give 3 independent phone numbers (and call my wife early in the morning to confirm for Uhaul that it was actually her number).

So on 3/24/22 I stopped at this location to rent a 26ft truck but they were out. They found a 20ft truck in pueblo west and reserved it for us. But we drove over there and the lady gets a call saying it's been reserved for someone else so I have to get a 15ft so I did we made extra trips because of it . Then on we reserved a 26ft for 4/2/22 to pickup at 11am we was running late so I called four times and know one answered. We get there and the same lady from the last time is there and tells me it's gone. That were supposed to get it at 7:30am. I told her no we reserved it for 11 and her reply was well what do you want me to do she was rude and unprofessional. Her name is crystal Gonzalez. I will not use this place again. When we did get a truck the ramp was messed up and was to steeped to use.

The locations were friendly but the overall Uhaul experience sucked! I had to go to 2 different locations because they didn't have my reserved equipment in one location! It took me half the just to get all the equipment I need for my 200 mile move! Very dissatisfied and will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN! Horrible Customer service! I'll use Budget or hire movers next time!

I wasn't greeted nor acknowledged when I entered. I even waited over 5 min and still nothing until I asked if someone was working today. The van had major damages on driver side by door and and wasn't cleaned on the exterior but very clean for interior. The drop off process was smooth and he actually acknowledged me.

This has nothing to do with the site. The truck apparently has a governor on it that prevents it from going over 75 mph. There are times when the safe thing to do is speed a bit (if the speed limit is 75 mph or less) -- passing, changing lanes on an interstate, etc. Plus, we could have driven 250 miles legally at 80 mph. A 900 mile trip in a truck is long enough without limiting the speed.

Most of my issues with the service had to do with billing. Constant price increases with minimal notice. I feel that 4 increases in 3 years was a bit much. That is why I moved my items out as soon as I closed on a house closer to me. I am using a local secured facility for half the price.

The staff at the Carruth Court address in Pueblo, CO are fabulous. George stood out as they helped above and beyond when we were removing our items from storage. It was very hot, our moving helpers canceled, leaving my 13 year old and I to load in the desert heat and sun. George recognized our plight, and stepped in to help. I was suffering from heat stroke so George gave us a place to rest and plenty of cool water to reduce our symptoms. Everyone employed at this facility is great, however that day, George took the time to help us get finished with our move out.

They were life savers..the help i was supposed to have wasnt able to come. They were nice enough to help unload ny grandmas china hutch taking extra care to not let the rain get it. I was stressed that i wasnt going to be able ti get stuff unloaded in time but the worker was very calm, told me not to worry they would help me and wasnt upset or rude about my situation..which made things go much better. Friendly store staff they were amazing best I've come by! If it wasent for that staff I would be blowing up the bad reviews......but overall UHaul was a mess Had to make 3 different truck rentals all at different locations because they would reserve me a vehicle they didn't have available! And than on top of that was overcharged for accessories. I have waited on hold to talk to someone twice for over 50 mins even tho the wait time said 20 mins. I'm furious I tried to cancel my storage and they said their systems were down And than a day later I was charged for the whole next month !!!

You should let your customers know that you don't have access cards and cannot access storage . I drive 3 hrs one evening to get something out my storage. Your web page and notices outside say access cards, access storage till 10pm. I was there at 6pm. You seriously need to address that problem. Otherwise a great place.

Your staff at all locations are great. Your phone customer service system is horrible not the people but accessing help from roadside assistance is very disfunctional. I will never use your company again. Even the staff at your store had trouble getting help for me the way your phone system works or should I say doesn't work.

The main problem I had was with billing. I kept getting emails and letters claiming I was behind in my payments and owed late fees even though I was current and had receipts to prove it. I rarely got staff at the facility on the phone when I called and routinely got directed to a call center that agreed I was paid up according to their records but were never able to stop the continuing threats I received via mail and email.

Very hard to get hold of, actually impossible. Manager gives away storage you reserved. Corporate communications are also unavailable. Cancelled my reservation before I even moved in. Gave away my reservation! What! Local manager blamed it on Corporate reservation problems. Not my problem. Moving is stressful enough without a national company giving you the run around!! Horrible experience with Pueblo Co location! Josh needs to go as a manager. Also rude when I had to ask my 71 year old mother to go to check on my reservation. The one Josh gave away!!!!

I was told that I would have GROUND-FLOOR ACCESS I was told that the 1st month's rent was FREE I was told that it was an 8X10X5 I asked if the truck and the storage unit were going to hold all of my furniture and other belongings. Nothing I was told were actually TRUE! I had to scramble to get another storage unit because the Truck AND the storage unit WERE TOO SMALL! Nothing the first representative told me WAS EVEN CLOSE TO THE TRUTH! My family is their friends made trips IN THEIR OWN PRIVATE VEHICLES to help finish my move. I want a full refund for the entire "UHAUL MOVING EXPERIENCES" of one lie and additional Fee after another. I have posted the whole thing on my public media sites telling the world AVOID USING UHAUL AT ANY COST! MEANING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE NOW KNOW HOW BADLY UHAUL HAS TREATED ME

The employees were always very polite and helpful, any time that I visited my storage unit. I was constantly impressed, as they were always, very busy. They do excellent work keeping up with the rush.

Storage facility is great. Only problem is the UHaul system is always down when you go to pay your bill most every month... in person or online... very inconvenient but not this facility's fault.

The storage facility has a keypad for after hours that is nonfunctional so you can't have access after business hours, which is inconvenient if you work late. Otherwise an above average experience
