We were told the gas tank had to be returned full. The tank wasn't full when we got it and we ended up paying for $43 worth of gas even though we only drove the truck 32 miles and they told us there was nothing they could do about it. I rented a 15 foot box truck, and had to drive a distance to pick up a certain amount of materials that I could not fit inside of the box truck because the box is nowhere near 15 feet. It's a 12 foot box and that stupid little moms attic does not make it a 15 foot truck justifiably. When I returned the truck the lady didn't even care that it's screwed me over and was unable to pick up all of my materials. I would've appreciated a discount of some kind because of the trouble.Steven H.

Everyone I dealt with was great. I unfortunately had a7 hour wait before I could pick up the van I had reserved bc the renter before me didn't get it back on time. There was nothing Uhaul could do about that but I think bc of the HUGE inconvenience on me I should have received a discount for my troubles in having to readjust my schedule because of the delay. I was given a smaller sized locker than I reserved online which was frustrating. I needed to get that switched because there was no way my stuff would fit into the smaller locker. The person working there was able to switch it without any problems but I am not sure why I wasn't just given what I reserved. When I made the reservation online it said that I was eligible for the first month free for using uhaul previously. When I checked in at the office the person said that he couldn't see that discount and that I needed to pay for the first month. While overall everything was great, I was dismayed at what felt a little like deception since in BIG BOLD letters the price was shown as $19.95 with some small print tell of some extra additional charges. All together it was around $35 which is quite a bit more than $19.95. Now I knew that it would be, but it seems deceptive and I get annoyed when an unrealistic low price is advertised boldly and is not really close to what the real price will be.LEE W.

I booked my 15ft uhaul a week in adance and when i showed up to pick it up they said they didnt have anymore even though i had a confirmation and everything they also said they canceled my order without my knowledge. I had to go to 3 different uhauls to find one. The truck smelled horribly of smoke and i had to drive even farther away to get the truck and return it so that made it cost even more. There was no lighting in the storage unit. Lighting in the area outside the unit was very minimal. We had leakage from the roof of the unit that caused damage. You credited a month of payment (thank you), but it didn't fully compensate for the damage. This unit (L781) has a big problem with roll-up door. You have to try and push it up to just the right height to make it stay open. Staff has always been very professional, very helpful and courteous.David K. | Overall Experience

No lock in the unit. Staff was helpful though. I would like to mention that when looking for your number online, it was a bit of a challenge. I had to find your number to call the desk for a lock and it was a pain trying to find the correct storage unit online even though I was standing right there in the very place I needed the number for. The app continued to crash when I was checking in to pick up the truck. I got charged $7 for a dolly I did not use or put in my cart when checking in. I have been an occupant of 5 units since 2011 at Provo River Uhaul. During this period of time I've always been respected as a customer and the staff have been excellent. That said, I want to point out the manager for the last several years (Maggie) has been a standout in all of my associations with Uhaul in all of my travels. She somehow always has a cheerful disposition even under the stressful operations. It was a good location and the staff were friendly. I just didn't find the hours the most beneficial for my schedule. Additionally the storage unit, while in a hallway, was never lit properly and the light in the hallway would only remain on for a few seconds. Also I was amazed at how dirty it got for being at the end of the hallway. I felt the prices continued to rise and it didn't benefit the cost of staying.
