1. Start by checking to see that all the maintenance lights are off on the dashboard. I had to call Roadside assistance to have them perform diagnostics. This delayed my loading time on packing day, and I had to resume the next day on Driving Day. 2. Check to make sure that the headlights are clean and bug-free. I had to ask for someone to clean the headlamps. I ended up driving before sunrise on Day 2; so glad that I checked for safety. 3. Perform a front end alighment on this vehicle. It tends to pull to the right which really wore out my right driving hand. I would appreciate a credit on this bill as the delay and impact to my schedule could have been easily prevented by a multi point inspection at the Pickup Location. No Customer should expect to begin a 1400 mile moving trip with the engine light on solid orange. Gracias.JEFFREY C.

The moving company in LA did not show up when they said they will. First they said 5:00, then they changed it to 5:30. We waited but no sign of them. They finally called and told us they may be able to come 7:00 pm. We told them that would be too late and not good for us. We then cancel it. That was very disappointing since we had to unload the truck ourselves. You really should not recommend the moving companies, which could not do what they sign up for.ALIREZA A.

Was supposed to pick up the truck at 5am. Manager didn't even put the key in the lockbox, so we sat in the parking lot for 3 hours waiting for someone to show up, and was hung up on by uhaul call center 3 times. Had to pay for an Extra 3 hours to the moving company.McKenzie C.

The staff at your midway location were amazing. I was already having a ruff day when I went to rent the uhaul. The staff there were so incredible that they totally turned my mood around. The went above and beyond to accommodate me. They interacted well together and provided some of the best customer service I've r er received in a very long time. Uhaul is lucky to have those two individuals working for there company. I even end ed d up renting a storage at that location because of your staff there.thank you so much. Make the manager hire more people so everyone doesn't have to wait over an hour to pick up their uhaul. When your own employees tell you the manager does it on purpose so the manager can receive all the bonuses, that manager should be fired. Worst experience with uhaul ever and honestly I will never use uhaul again because waiting in line for 1.5 hours when I had a very busy day, did not sit right with me. He was extremely rude and wasted so many people's time only for his personal gain.Olivia S.

I have rented from this locations a couple times in the past and everything went well. This time they rented me a truck with electrical issues-I noticed a red battery icon on the control panel as I drove off, but didn't realize what it signified until a while later when the "check charging system" notice came on. When I called the office on Midway the fellow who answered transferred me to a line that left me on hold for 25 minutes. I hung up just before arriving back at the Midway location when, I discovered, no one knew about our situation and no plans had been made ahead of time to get us going again. After several frantic calls the desk fellow notified the yard another truck had to be found. I was then told I had to back the car on the trailer off so they could transfer the trailer to the alternative truck, and then remount the car on the trailer. The yard people were very polite and accommodating, once the frantic fellow at the desk calmed down. My bitch is that your repair line punished me for calling for assistance while on the road, scolding me to instead go online and then I "would be in control." Bullshit. Yours is a good system when it works, but not so hot when things go wrong. Spend a bit more on your customer service when folks on the road need help, and worry a tad less about your corporate operating expenses and bottom line.Willis M.

Location was fine. However central U Haul services were poor. My account was frozen for no identifiable reason and had to call/wait on hole for someone to remove the hold. They were unable to tell me why the hold was placed. A couple other people at the site had the same issueCHARLES H.

I fell screwed over. I went to fill up the gas tank to replenish the fuel I used. The gas gauge when filling continued to show just underneath 3/4 tank. I needed to refill to 3/4 tank. The gas gauge continued to stay at the same spot while filling up. I even stopped fueling, started the truck, and had to refuel again because of the gauge still showing 3/4 tank. $35 dollars later, I said screw it. On my way to take the truck back, the gas gauge went up to full. Screw you guys for taking my money. I drove 40 miles total. This wasn't $35 of gas. I feel like this is a scam to screw your customers over. Thanks for taking my money that I really need to pay my bills and out food on my table.Travis S.

My boyfriend and I originally rented 1 15' truck to drive down to San Diego, we're moving there. I drove our 4runner and he drove the truck. Our 4runner broke down while we were in bakersfield and when I called uhaul, the first lady i talked to when I asked if there was any tow dollys nearby she said "nope there is nothing in a 50 mile radius", then she hung up on me. The next woman i talked to when I asked again if there were any tow dollys said "yes, theres one available in bakersfield"..... so if I had not called again and spoken to a different person my boyfriend and I would've been fucked and probably had to turn around back to the bay area. Thank god I talked to the second woman who took her time and looked for a tow dolly for me.ASHTON M.

One thing completely killed it for me. I got the coverage in case it was stolen but she never told me its was for each day she made it sound like it was a one time charge . at coast more than the dam rental did. Thanks completely shysty and screwed up. I feel like I was taken advantaged of. That type of business is completely wrong. Other than that everything was great. The ladie that helped me seems like she isnt happy or doesn't like people or her job but the company and set up was nice and easy and fast. I got one price quote online for a 4 hour rental but when I went in to rent the van it was for an all day rental. I was in too much of a hurry to argue or figure out what happened. Let me start by saying that this problem was not with any of the businesses that were assigned for our pickup. This was more uhaul and computer issues. This wasn't the location we chose. We reserved in advance and received email at 200 pm day before pickup that location was changed. We then received call after 700 pm that the truck had not been returned and pickup was changed from 6am to 9am. We arrived at 9 am only to be advised they didn't have a 26' available. We were then sent to another location 30 minutes away. Over all it took 2 hours before we made it back home making it 5 hours after our anticipated start time. We had to hurry and load as much as possible because we had help at final destination. We were 5 hours later loading then anticipated. Because of this we had to make a second trip to retrieve the remainder of items. Returning the truck we were charged an additional $40 for over milage allowed. Not only did we lose time but had to pay for additional gas. I have always used uhaul for all our moves but this cluster was so bad that I will most likely never use again.ALEX F.

Overall a really great experience. Robin and Jeremy did everything to make sure I was taken care off and found a great spot for my moving out for the trailer. Dalton was the one really going above by helping position the trailer just right and making sure I didn't have to cross the incoming truck lane.
