I was literally charged double of what it should've been charged because I dropped it off at a different location in which I could have picked it up where I dropped it off but nobody told me the price would be double if I picked it up on liberty Avenue. I had rented a U-Haul a month prior at the Monroeville U-Haul that I dropped it off at and was very satisfied more than disappointed. In this particular U-Haul on liberty Avenue. I did not go inside the facility but when I pulled in to return the truck, an employee came out to greet me about a minute after arriving. He was friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and efficient. Less than a couple minutes and I was on my way. The only complaint I have is the truck I rented made a lot of scary noises - it needs to be checked out. That is not necessarily a reflection of this location's / an issue with them - but just stating in general for Uhaul trucks.Andrea G.

The online return experience was a bit broken - as I tried to complete the steps necessary (taking pictures of the interior, answering questions) I seemed to be brought back to a generic screen with no confirmation of return. I tried twice more to redo the process but it stopped working on the first screen each time.Jacob W.
The pick up truck was wrecked in multiple areas, the inside of the truck was absolutely filthy, there were burn marks in the seats, and the cab smelled heavily of marijuana. I rented this vehicle for 3 days and I became very sick from the overwhelming smell of marijuana every time I had to get in the vehicle to drive. It was NOT a pleasant experience. The employees I interacted with on Sept. 20 repeatedly assured me there were no additional fees for the package I selected - with which I loaded my items on site and then had the box delivered to my new address. When I was sent the bill there was a delivery fee when it clearly says on the website NO DELIVERY FEE and that the last step of shipping/delivery is included in the $89.95 price. I called corporate customer service and the agent agreed that I shouldn't have been charged a delivery fee. She removed it and suggested I call the local office to make sure my delivery date had not been changed. When I called to confirm this I was for the first time in this process - treated very rudely and told repeatedly that they would not deliver it and that I was â€œinterpreting it wrongâ€ in regards to where it clearly says on the website NO DELIVERY FEE, but yet clearly offers shipping/delivery. I called again the next day and was once again met with a rude employee, talking over me and refusing to listen to my issue. She kept comparing the delivery of my box to delivery of a pizza. Eventually I gave up and paid the delivery fee which nearly doubled my total. This final employee acknowledged and admitted that the way I was being charged in relation to what was initially agreed upon was indeed deceitful. I have never felt more swindled, scammed, and gaslit in a situation like this. I won't be back to Uhaul, you might have the bigger name, but there are others out there who do what you do and potentially with more integrity.Eli S.

- Representative asked me if place X was good for me, and then the call disconnected. We picked up the Uhaul with it on empty. We were told we needed to put gas in it immediately and if we brought it back filled at a quarter tank, we would get a $28 gas credit. Perform better inspections. We were charged $150 for a broken taillight that we are confident we did not break. When we asked to see photos from the prior inspection, the employee showed us a photo of the van but could not provide us with the date that photo was taken. We had the uhaul for 3 hours and got charged a total of $210. I am very upset with this service and will not be using again.Gabrielle U.

Calling and trying to contact someone at my location was almost impossible most days. That was my main problem, not being able to reach someone. Also when I went to close out I called and spoke to someone and they said they would go check the unit and send me an email as long as everything was out. That's not what happened no one called and I kept getting bills and text messages stating that my storage was empty. So I called the second time and the young man was kind enough to do what he said he was going to do. As I told the young man yesterday when he was checking me out of my storage unit when he asked if I had a good experience: this isn't even the closest storage unit or truck rental place for me. I went here a few years ago when I needed to move and the staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating it was unbelievable. That was around 2018 maybe and I still choose to get all of my trucks and storage spaces here. Additionally, I still see some of the faces around that I saw back then. She knows how to take care the customer for best satisfaction . Upon move-in, I experienced a love/hate for the wood floors. While I absolutely love the beautiful old wood flooring, there are areas that are missing chunks of wood and are in need of repair. These areas make the carts vibrate so badly that it shakes things off the cart, leading to the major annoyance of having to continually stop to pick up the stuff that had fallen off, and the possible damage caused from it. Maybe softer, more shock-absorbing wheels on the carts might be the quickest, least expensive solution.
