They charged me a gas fee even though the truck was around 1/8 tank when I received it and I returned it with more than that. Other than that I had a super quick and easy return at this location, staff was very nice and helpful as wellSean D.

There was 2 guys there when I arrived. One of the guys called for help and no one ever came up to help . I had to wait for the one guy to finish up with the 1st customer to help me . Then I was given an u Haul that had no gas . Although I'm suppose to receive a $50 credit for the truck not having gas , it $130 to fill the tank .MARGUERITE S.

As a US navy brat, a US Army vet, & a USMC spouse, I've made more cross country moves than I care to remember. My ONE wish is that I had heard about UBOX sooner. I arrived the day before to see the size of the unit. The attendant told me that the items in the uhaul trailer would fit into the unit. However, the unit was too small. I made a reservation for a pickup truck and was givin a 15' truck and then i had to pay full price for the truck. I obviously knew the pickup was better on fuel and that big ole truck sucked the gas very unhappy with this rental. Never had a problem with uhaul until today and im not very happy with it!Thomas D.

Uhaul needs to do more thorough checks of their vehicle fleet maintenance as well as hire staff that cleans their vehicles. I had not only my moving vans motor break on me in my travel, but the replacement van they gave me was a mess with caked dirt in the cargo bay. Also, as a result breakdown and towing company Uhaul used, the driver of the tow truck scratched my vehicle on the towed hauler. Now my vehicle requires repairs and repainting to be fixed. Personally I have used this location for years, and have found of all my experiences with them, this was the worst.GABRIEL R.

The UHaul people we interacted with were nice and helpful. However, UHaul's internal communications systems let us down here. Our box was supposed to be delivered Jan. 25. It arrived Jan. 28 due to weather conditions. But at no time preceding Jan. 25 did anybody know where our box was or if it would arrive early. In fact, on Jan. 24, we got a call confirming that it would be delivered on Jan. 25. But this was wrong --- the box was still in transit to the Uhaul distribution facility. The whole process was confusing and frustrating. We had moving help lined up to help us on Jan. 25 and had to cancel. We were also initially refunded $100 for the delay, but we were owed $150 because the box could not be delivered before Jan. 28, despite arriving in the Everett, WA Uhaul facility on Jan. 26. I called and finally got the $150. It would be better if there was a way for Uhaul phone reps to be able to pull up accurate ETA of box. The experience was frustrating due to Uhaul internal miscommunication and lacking of tracking software. Thanks.Ian H.
When we went to pick up our trailer, we were told we didn't order one from that location. We provided the proof by showing our receipt to confirm our order from this location (with the correct address). We were then told our confirmation and trailer had been moved to another location. I was disappointed because I had made a reservation for a larger unit and the day of my move in was there if that they didn't have it available.. After looking things over they found me a unit but it was smaller than I had reserved.. I was not able to move in all my belongings as was expected.. Truck Reservation # 25705772. Vehicle was having trouble shifting, RPM's would reach over 4000 before shifting. Otherwise experience was excellent. The service rep on 11/30/21@ approx. 6 p.m was pleasant as well as efficient at his job. He came out to assist with the vehicle return as soon as we drove into the facility. Roanoke Tx did an awesome job. The Schererville location was not staffed to meet the needs, the excuse was they did not have enough covers. If it wasn't for the girls who loaded the boxes the experience would have been horrible. The main ubox girl who delivers the boxes is a keeper and most likely under appreciated She should be the one managing the location. She was the only one who staged the boxes when told which ones where next. Initial pickup was called in on Monday, Friday I arrived and was told the manager didn't start until noon to load. At 12:30 when I arrived the boxes were still being loaded. It wasn't until after 1pm I was able to leave. This set me back over half a day while I was taking vacation days. The first two boxes should have been staged on the trailer ready to go the night before or that morning. Not enough covers is not a good enough answer when originally all 8 were supposed to be delivered on Saturday.Steve O.

We had rented a dolly, but were informed that they didn't have one nor did the ever have one. Why were we allowed to rent from this location if the equipment was not available? We had to go buy the dolly we needed locally. The person seemed to be unconcerned that he could not provide the equipment we reserved. Fortunately the local hardware store had one in stock and it wasn't overly expensive. We rented a 26' truck for a local move. Although it seemed to be reasonably well maintained, it seemed to be well used (161,000 miles), and I was a little nervous on whether it would make the trip.John L.

We ran into one issue accessing the unit on 8/13 where we could not get in at 9:30 PM. When renting the unit, I was told I had 24/7 access so was a little disappointed in this but was able to get in on 8/14 without any issues to empty the unit out for my move.Tom T. | Overall Experience
The system that gives you storage units automatically pushes you into what you think is an actual unit, but is actually a parking spot. During conversations with my reservation with team members, no one calls this to attention or confirms this is actually what you want, and simply assume you know that the system did that. My overall experience was a good one. Everything worked out. I moved out on April 23 and moved in on May 1. The only thing that can suggest is that your man at the Pine Island facility needs some help. He does a fantastic job and is a good man. You need to take care of him or you will lose him. For one man working by himself, he did an outstanding job. I do not remember his name, but he went far and above his job duties. You are very fortunate to have such a hard worker. The other facilities that I used were sufficiently manned and womanned and everyone was courteous helpful and friendly. Overall, my experience with U-Haul was a good one. P.S.- You need to clarify to people up front that that service that you use to provide helping hands for the move is not very reliable and not a true picture of your business. None of the "help" that I tried to employ showed up and one did not even answer my phone calls. Despite this, I would use U-Haul again, but not the man power help service. I rented a space for security because I felt my car was being tampered with and was told there were cameras on 24/7. The employees constantly leave the gate open at this facility. When I questioned a day where I felt my car had been tampered with they refused to review the footage. I was told that I had to file a police report and that only a police officer could view the footage. Why would I file a report without seeing if there was an issue? If I’m paying for security but not receiving security, isn’t that a breach of contract?
