Upon picking up my equipment a uhal representative was in the front office behind the counter on her cell phone she didn't acknowledge me at all she continued her phone call like there was no customers in the building another representative of a young man arrived in the office, I asked him if anyone was working? he said yes I am! I said well why is she just standing there not helping anybody he replied that she was a driver and she didn't work the front counter I still felt that she should have acknowledged me to let me know that someone will be with me shortly but she continued on her cell phone having a personal conversation she didn't acknowledgment me at all ... however when I return my equipment the young lady that checked me in was very professional and made the experience GreatDEANDRE I.

When I was dropping off the van that I rented. I was approached by a woman, and a gentleman. The gentleman looked very high and was eating food while trying to talk to me. I asked him questions that were not answered. And once the woman began talking to me she asked for a payment that was already pulled out of my account. She then proceeded to walk away to grab someone else to talk to me, as the gentleman that was next to me never said a word to me and proceeded to stuff his face with food. Once someone else was brought to me to discuss the matter he proceeded to get upset with me and kept stating that I couldn't comprehend what any of them were saying. After we argued about the payment and how it all worked. The worker stated that all he had to do was press confirm on his work phone so that the process would proceedâ€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦ the whole argument and dissatisfaction put a nasty taste in my mouth with u-haul. I will never ever be back to that location again. Terrible workers, smoking on the job, and blaming customers because they are too high to comprehend the simple task of pressing a single button on their need. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED. This was for pods to be picked up from my home, NOT delivered. So even this is wrong. U-Haul employees could not understand this! I had the pods in my driveway for 4 years. I needed them returned to U-Haul. The phone contacts were nothing but hours and hours of the run around. I was extremely frustrated. I then decided to go face-to-face, which was the same amount of help, "We do not know how to do that." Went to final place, where they said they know how. I explained my run around and needed their help. They supposedly did everything, but they did not..not even close. I am sure they got a chuckle. I called U-Haul again and they had no schedule for pick up. I ended up with weekend woman and she fixed it all. I will never recommend your company to anyone.Cindy C.

I was never given a key for th U box and was never informed there would be a key on there. By the time I moved to Texas and my U box arrived to me, there was apparently nothing that could be done about the lock since I was in Texas and the lock was put on in Indiana. The U haul employees informed me that the only thing I could do was break the lock. I had to go out and buy a $50 bolt cutter just to get my stuff out of th U box. I would have liked a reimbursement for the tool necessary to get in my box. Over all weird experience. 0 stars, would not recommend to any of my friends or familyDarian S.

Taray was wonderful!!!! I enjoyed dealing with him, once I got there. When I first called, I spoke to Courtney. Please, FIRE HER. I could hardly hear he on the phone. I had to ask the questions, to try to get answers back from her. She didnt know what I was asking and did t know how to look stuff up. Thank God, when I did show up, Taray was there to help and process me thru. Once I explained what I was looking for anfld what Courtney was going to rent me, it was all wrong. Taray started the process over and we were out the door, asap. Also, while Taray was helping us, Courtney was helping a customer, in a wheel chair. That man, was very upset with Courtney and decided to leave. Once he left, Courtney had a few smarts remarks, under her breath and moved her hand a certain way, like, who cares that he left. My husband and I just looked at each other and couldn't believe what we saw and heard. Please, if she is not gone yet, and you want to make sure you have customers, she needs to be fired. We ran into one issue accessing the unit on 8/13 where we could not get in at 9:30 PM. When renting the unit, I was told I had 24/7 access so was a little disappointed in this but was able to get in on 8/14 without any issues to empty the unit out for my move.Tom T. | Overall Experience

It was an Exhaust issue with the truck when we picked it up and it worsened as we used it getting louder and louder. When I went to return the truck, the app would not allow me to do the return online and after wasting 15 minutes with support chat, I drop the keys and left and then was charged $20 drop off fee.Jack S.

They over charged us then sent an email out 2 days later that we never returned the truck. When we picked up the truck it had no gas that they told us hopefully it makes it to the gas station if it doesn't call us and will bring some gas. Now I am waiting on my refund. The vehicle smelled awful and it had garbage on the floor. It rained while driving the U-Haul at night and the windshield wipers seemed to be worn because it wasn't wiping the rain off rather smearing it. And lastly, the windshield was very dirty. This location is my last resort when all other U-Hauls aren't able to accommodate. The vehicles are outdated and dirty the last 2 times I rented.Shalanda C.

The system that gives you storage units automatically pushes you into what you think is an actual unit, but is actually a parking spot. During conversations with my reservation with team members, no one calls this to attention or confirms this is actually what you want, and simply assume you know that the system did that. While the staff was helpful in finding a solution, they made it seem like this is a VERY common occurrence, yet U-Haul hasn't fixed the underlying problem.Aaron T. | First Impressions

The young man running things there handled everything very well. There were several people in line when I arrived, and apparently, there was a computer issue that was hindering the employee. He helped everyone with a smile and calmly worked through the group. He deserves kudos for handling what could have been an annoying customer experience. We stood in line for 58min before the lady even spoke to us! She was rude, would not speak where we could hear her, she talked as is she had cud in her mouth. We should not have had to wait and hour, and top it off We literally had to stand cause it was only 1 chair n the person in front of us was sitting in it. People go to 30/41 that UHAUL will treat you right! I have been there 5 times n never a issue... 1 time to pine island and never againRAYMOND P.

The pricing was not clear. The amount of money paid was more costly than quoted. For 2 boxes and 2 weeks. Having the boxes delivered to 2 addresses within close proximity of each other costed me $600 plus. The location was not aawre of how to split an order. Meaning deliver one box to one location and delivering the other further down the street. Had long hold times and not able to get an explanation on pricing. The driver was awesome. So cool, friendly, and caring. Had to wait extra amount of time for boxes to be picked up due to a mechanical error.Kimberly T.

My overall experience was a good one. Everything worked out. I moved out on April 23 and moved in on May 1. The only thing that can suggest is that your man at the Pine Island facility needs some help. He does a fantastic job and is a good man. You need to take care of him or you will lose him. For one man working by himself, he did an outstanding job. I do not remember his name, but he went far and above his job duties. You are very fortunate to have such a hard worker. The other facilities that I used were sufficiently manned and womanned and everyone was courteous helpful and friendly. Overall, my experience with U-Haul was a good one. P.S.- You need to clarify to people up front that that service that you use to provide helping hands for the move is not very reliable and not a true picture of your business. None of the "help" that I tried to employ showed up and one did not even answer my phone calls. Despite this, I would use U-Haul again, but not the man power help service.
